Lakeside USPS doesn't answer their phone, and their service is well.. look at all the reviews. Pathetic. I just called in 4 times and the phone rang out. 4 times and they can't even answer the phone? Watch, they'll blame covid or some other victim statement. What a joke. What a disgusting joke that we have to depend on a branch of the government that can't perform. I'm discouraged and frustrated and it seems like every time I need USPS, or need a result, this is how I end up feeling.
Never answers the phone. Lost packages, no service. Complete disregard of service. Reviews don't make a difference. I'll never use them again if I can help it. If you need help call consumer affairs. If they can't help you, no one can.
Good luck. Dealing with USPS, you're going to need it.
Was waiting on a package that needed to be signed for, mail person never got out of their vehicle and instead left a notice for us to come and pick it up, I have a camera showing that this lazy fool never left the vehicle.
I have numerous packages shown as delivered not in the mailbox or box. I haven't complained until now but has been going on for at least a few years. A couple times the neighbor who got it brings it to me.
I was going to leave a comment in the comment box at the office, but after reading so many negative reviews, I might as well print it and chuck it into the trash because they would probably do the same thing! I have a parcel that I can't get to because the key broke, and even after speaking to several mailpersons---its like-its not my problem! Someone else will be given a key to that box, and then I'll lose my parcel---SAD
Unsatisfactory service, I received a notification that the USPS employee could not access my gate this is no the case my door is beyond a gate the package can be left at the gate, or the delivery personnel can open the gate and place it in front of the door just like he has for the past year.
My mail and packages are repeatedly lost or delivered to other addresses. I can’t understanding why mail tampering is a federal offense but the post office is not responsible for tampering with the mail?
this post office "misplaces" packages. If you contact them and file a list package complaint its dismissed because they claim it was delivered! This is not just once this happened! I will be using a different service!
As noted, they never answer the phone. Our carrier left a panel open leaving at least 20 people's mail exposed. Tried to send an email to the postmaster. They can't handle that either. It was returned as mailbox not found. Shoddy management, shoddier leadership. Why do they spend our money on this post office? No wonder they lose money.
I am 15 weeks pregnant and have been waiting for my new vitamins, upon arrival my kids were out front playing and I was in the kitchen, I heard the guy walk up and then heard a crack and as soon. As I open the door and get my package, it is absolutely broken. I have shards of glass everywhere and cant take my medicine now because of this.
Very negative review! Unable to reach anyone by phone at the Lakeside office. Tried 1800-275-8777 , with a40-50 min wait. The package I am calling about is “sorry we missed you while you were out“. I was standing at my gate while the dogs were barking to stop them from making the noise. The carrier not once looked up to deliver my package. Instead he had this Form filled out and put in my box before he got here. Now I have to go to the post office tomorrow to pick up my package instead of him delivering as part of his job.
I have a great idea on how to save money for the USPS. Remove all telephones and associated equipment from all offices. Have one 800 number that is answered in India. This will save a ton of money and the public will not know the difference since you don't answer the phone anyway.
I had my car key stolen from counter, walked out to car didn't have key walked back in and it was gone. The employee helping me was gone and he was pissued off at me as soon as he started helping me because I hadn't taped my package. When I asked if they could check camera footage they said no. As ked if I could use their phone so I could call police to file a report they said don't you have a cell phone. I also have a lot of problems with not receiving packages and belive mailman conveniently misplaces them. I never get gift cards that are sent for birthdays and even had my kids new social security card not delivered so have to check their credit score to make sure they didn't have their identity stolen. Sad
I bought a p.o box in the middle of March of 2015 I am being inundated with the previous owner of that box but yes lakeside post office has yet to solve the problem I am paying for a box that is being filled with another person's mail totally unacceptable and they can't seem to get the situation solved
