Called Carmel Valley Post office several times over a few days. No answer. Called USPS 1-800-275-8777. After lengthy automated process that didn't address my questions waited 30 mins for a rep. Gave up. Due to Shelter in place mandate, this is not an acceptable situation.
I am beyond disappointed in our mail lady. We have one mail man who is OUTSTANDING! His sub who comes on Saturdays and sometimes Sundays is absolutely terrible. I have asked her multiple times to NOT leave our packages at our mail box. Which is at the bottom of our driveway visible to anyone who drives down carmel valley road. She again, left all packages at the bottom of our hill, again visible to the entire world and easy to steel. I spoke to our usual mail man and he said he spoke to her again. On saturday i saw on my camera that she apparently recieved the message.. however she literally hung out of her car, dropped my package out the window, and on top of it was directly behind my car which i would not of seen if it wasnt caught on camera and alerted me. i would of ran over my own package due to her outrageous laziness.
The following day, my packages were again outside of my mailbox.
And on top of that, it says i had 3 other packages delievered, none of which have been located.
An Xbox says delieverd. No where to be found. And as stated all packages when left outside my mailbox and completely visible from the road. So i have a feeling my package that say delivered ARE STOLEN due to this employees laziness.

I HAVE BEEN RECIEVING MAIL IN THIS BOX FOR 18 YEARS NOW AND TODAY I WAS TOLD BY SHARON THAT I COULD NOT GET A CERTIFIED LETTER BECAUSE MY NAME ISNT ON THE BOX YET THEY PUT MAIL FOR ME IN THE BOX I AM DISCUSTED WITH HER ATTATUDE AND DID NOT APPRECIATE HOW RUDE I WAS SPOKEN TO FROM SHARON..
I'm trying to locate a package in your post office. Tracking# 9405511899560423185742. Customer said that you guys can not locate but when I look on-line it says that package needs to be re-scheduled for delivery before 1/3/2018. How can customer reschedule when your office can not locate the package? Please email or call us with status, if possible. I tried calling your office but was not able to get anyone. I was to receive a package today. Rather than deliver it to my mail box or to my front door, it was sent to the RV park office on the adjacent property, A grand distance of forty feet. I find it very unnerving that a postal employee would willfully deliver a package to the wrong address then leave a pick up notice telling me so. Why was it not sent to my front door or returned to the post office in Carmel for pick up later, where I know it will be secure? I do not find this acceptable and I question the legality of it. My postman has no knowledge if I even know or trust the people at this RV park.
Please rectify this so it does not happen in the future. I do not wish to know my mail is in the hands of strangers ever again.
