I have received three packages now that have been destroyed, dropped off with giant holes or this last one which was clearly opened intentionally. Very upset

Amazingly efficient and friendly!! Even during Christmas time, I was amazed at how quickly and kind they were to even the grumpiest customer. I rented for 3 months as a snowbird. I was in the office for many things, passport renewal, name change issues on mail, stamps, and of course many package I needed to mail, I can’t say how much I truly am thankful for all the patient clerks!!!!

On January 31, 2024, I dropped off 6 valentine cards at gulf shores post office in the mailbox bin outside in the parking lot around 2 pm.Cards were addressed to three cities in wisconsin. Only one card got delivered to my granddaughter. The gift card was not in the card when my son opened the card. He indicated the card was opened when they received it. To date, the other 5 cards never got delivered to my grandchildren and my mother. 5 cards had gift cards in them for a total amount of 75 dollars. Is a mystery why the other cards were not delivered. Thank you

They continue to not deliver my packages. I paid express shipping on a Father’s Day gift which was supposed to be delivered Saturday. Nope! Post office was closed on Monday. Ok, I’ll get my package Tuesday. Nope! Now I have to make a trip into town to deal with the stupidity.

Do not go here for passport assistance. My application has been sent back 3x in the last 2 months, stating the wrong app was chosen & I needed more documentation. It's been a huge hassle. I won't receive my passport in time for my trip, so I am trying to rebook my trip under my old name.

Sent certified letter ( $5000. Check. ) Aug. 9 2021. 3-5 day delivery . Its Aug 30, 2021. Cannot get a human being on the phone... period. Last week the lady at P.O. G.S. told me certified mail was a bad product and I got what I paid for and that it was probably sitting in a bin somewhere . WTH ?? Going back today to get equally stupid. 🤬🤬🤬💩💩😳

Clerk advised tracking first class. Letter has been in transit over 5 days with no idea when it will be delivered. Very poor excuse of post office and will go to another one and others should also. I have tried several times to reach postmaster but does not come to phone.

I’m going through trying to get help on a lost Christmas package I sent to my 90 year old Mother in Illinois and the postal people have been trying to help but I lost my receipt so it looks like nothing can be done. I even put $500.00 insurance on it. I do appreciate the time and attention they have given this matter. Very nice people. Good lesson: don’t loose your receipt. Thank you! Jeannie Wilson

This is the most friendly post office I have ever used. We moved here from Ohio and I have never had to utilize a post office box. They were so patient and kind to explain how everything worked and what address to put for packages that can't be delivered to a PO Box. And every time I have been in since, I have had nothing but friendly, courteous help. Gulf Shores is a wonderful community and this post office is part of what makes it that way!

By far the best experience I have ever had with a post office. I usually hate going to my local PO, so I was hesitant to renew passports while visiting gulf shores. Excellent people and service. Four passports in twenty minutes total for everything, including us filing out all forms and pictures, etc
Thank you again for five star service
