I love this post office. Every time I go in they're always so helpful. During peak hours there is always a bit of a line, but I don't mind. If you use a card, you can even do the self-serve kiosk.

I am appalled by the appearance of the First Colony Post Office inside and out! Why is this facility maintained? The landscape is not maintained, as the grass is a foot tall! The doors are awful..the handles are off and they are hard to open. The post office is disgusting and looks like something you would find in a 3rd world country!

I am in total agreement with comments made about the neglected maintenance of this post office. Broken doors with very loud squeaks go unrepaired. Grass and shrubs and giant elephant ear plants get overgrown and go untrimmed for weeks. The same items of litter, including COVID masks, lie around the parking lot for months! Seriously...months! This post office location is not that old. But the way it is being neglected makes it look like it's located in a slum area. Horrible supervision over this post office. Or maybe there is NO supervisor??? Somebody take responsibility for this mess.

I called 281-494-4150 two times @ 10:30 AM. Phone rang 25 times each with no answer. It would be nice to know how to contact tte Sugar Land Post office on Grant so I can get my mail. This is not the first time no oneanswers the phone?

Better than being answered, asked the tracking number then put on hold for so long until you give up. Stupid me held for almost 40 minutes. Happened several times. The insulting part is they even ask for the tracking number as if they would really check for it.

I mailed six bills at the USPS Grants Lake location on January 26th. I dropped the bills in the outdoor drive up box. I am seeing on my bank statement that none of those bills have been paid. I am now responsible for the late fee, and I am paying them with a credit card over the phone. I had return addresses on, but nothing has been returned. The six bills have disappeared. I had my doubts about the outside mailing box and they have become true.

The same for me with one bill, one FB tax payment, and a jury summons. It's happened before for me at this location.

And the exact same things has just happened to myself as well with three bills. Now I know I'm not alone, and to NEVER use this post office branch again!

I have been trying to get a package that was supposed to arrive Dec. 24, afternoon. Yeah, right!! It was a gift for one of my granddaughters. I have called, used their automated system with the tracking number. They delivered the package to a different address. Process began all over again...more calls (which nobody answers) more messages to automated services. Got an email, the package was to be delivered on January 4...it’s January 11. Nothing yet...and we are supposed to have the best mail delivery system in the world? Ha,ha,ha!!!

Sorry to report HORRIBLE service from USPS Grants Lake location: 1) repeatedly get incorrect mail and delivery of my mail to a similar street name (Adobe Ct vs Adobe Meadows Ct) even after repeatedly leaving notes to mail carrier. 2) tracking no. Shows “delivered” on a pkg but not delivered till 48 hours later at the incorrect address. 3) card mailed to Missouri City (nearby) on a Tuesday; card not received 6 days later. 4) when trying to check on pkg in item 2 above, no one would answer usps phone. Drove to post office and was confidently told package was on truck for delivery that day. Wrong; it was another 24 hours later and delivered to wrong address. BEYOND frustrated.
