Absolutely horrendous. This office should be investigated for supplying false information about delivery attempts and possibly outright theft of packages. Inexcusable. I wish I could leave less than one star.

Mr. Thompson 3927 Sharron St. W.Columbia 29170 received an email last night stating that his package was undelivered. We have cameras and did not see anyone trying to deliver. Please contact the delivery person and have them to leave the package at the front door or if signature is required deliver to the neighbor next door. Possibly the worst postal service I've had to deal with. The staff will try to gaslight you when they're the ones delivering packages to the wrong address or not even delivering them at all. My package was scheduled for delivery 10.18.2022, its now 10.24.2022 and the Cayce location has "redirected it and lost it" Then when you call you get information, the lady won't address your concerns.

Your service has a lot to be desired. First your deliverers can not read. Waiting on a package from Lexington Medical which was to be delivered on Friday June 24, 2022 but was not home when delivered because of your staggering hours of delivery. I signed the paper and placed it in the mailbox for pick-up. The signed slip is gone and no package. in the mail box. What do I do now?

I'm constantly getting delivered package emails and wait around for it with no delivery. This is happening at least once a week now. Happened today. I can send security camera footage where mailady doesn't come by. Drives right past and says she delivers. They have to scan packages with handheld scanner before they drop off. This is ridiculous. Who's going to start reimburse me?

Yesterday I was expecting a package valued at $6000 that I hug around for all day to sign for. Later when I checked my mail box I found it stuck in there with the mail with the mail box door open. The tracking number said that it was given directly to me which is a bold face lie. Anybody driving by could have stop and easily robbed me. Many times in the past I have not gotten any mail for two days. I guess that all you need is a pulse to get a job there since nobody seems to care any more. Should they ever want to do a way with the USPO I will certainly vote for it. It can't be any worse than it already is. In the old days there used to be Honor working there but not anymore.

i have had 2 packages disappear yet said delivered. on two different occasions. most recently said delivered on saturday 12/4 and nothing is in my mailbox. its a small package that can fit in the mailbox. where is the package?

I have been waiting on a package for a week. I got a notice yesterday and today that the mail carrier attempted to deliver it but I have been home ALL day BOTH days and there was absolutely no attempt!!! And the website is not working for me to reschedule my delivery!!!! No one will answer the phone at the post office!! I am beyond livid as this is not the first time this has happened.

I have not received my mail since Thursday 9/2. The mail is delivered to random houses in my neighborhood. I know about the COVID issues but this is awful.

Just how long is that disgusting mess gonna stay in the first aisle of boxes at this location. It is absolutely disgusting to have to walk through this moldy putrid scum that is all over the walls and floors here. It has been like this for several months now.

Cayce ,west columbia is the f ing worst ,they lost my package, everytime something is overnight it NEVER COMES ON TIME, THEY ARE SHORT STAFF ALL OVER THE MIDLAND POSTAL SERVICE SUCCCCCKS, THE STAFF IS TRUTH AND BLUNT IM SO F ING DONE I HAVE NO WORDS

This is a complaint about my mail service! I have not been receiving mail on a regular bases for the past year. I have spoken to the mail man that delivers my mail. I receive mail that is no address to me . This has cost me $ and time to track down documents Ect. Please be aware of this problem and attempt to correct it. Thank you.

Not sure why but our post lady will jot put packages in the yard. If they dont fit in the mailbox she doesn't leave them. Its very inconvenient. Noone else ups fed ex seems to have an issue except her. I am missing a package that was attempted to be delivered on the 24. I requested a redelivery for the 25.... still nothing. I work 2 jobs so I font have the time to ho to the post office to get my stuff. Very upset.

I live a block away from west Columbia post office, it seems they consistently delivery the wrong mail. I get neighbors mail, my neighbors even on another street get mine. Grateful we all deliver what's not ours. Is it so difficult to very house and street numbers?

Wow! It's very ridiculous to go all the way to post office to get my mail and wtw? There's only a note that says see clerk. PO Box too full. So since I hear employees laughing in the back, I ring the bell several times and got NO response. WTH is so hard about taking 2 minutes to open door and hand me my mail...especially when excuse me but the people I heard are PO clerks! Now I have to go back over there. When they could have left my mail in one of the parcel boxes and left me the key as they did 1 time before. It's left a really disappointing feeling I now have for this postal site!!!

New carrier blues... unless you make a monumental effort to get to know your carrier, your mail delivery will get screwed up every time a new carrier takes over your route...

Can’t believe I watch the mail carrier from the West Columbia/Cayce post office put my mail in my box. Only to find a certified sorry we missed you slip. He never left the truck to deliver the piece of mail. Not fair to the receiving party or the company/person paying to send this important letter. What right does this individual have, to decide when I get my mail. When I tried to call the postmaster, I was referred to an 800 number with a hold time of over an hour.

I have never seen a more frustrating , unprofessional facility as is the Cayce Post office. Waiting a week on a package and when it lands into the hands of the USPS ,I get a crumpled ,sorry we missed you slip in the mailbox.. when no attempt to connect with me has been made. 2nd time this has happened. Driver is just too busy not wanting to get out and actually ring the bell and do their job. Some people are home bound and cannot pickup their packages from the post office...that's why they are having it delivered !! To top it off...no one will answer the phone to clear the matter. I am in a clearly marked Apt. , have package tracking....no excuse!

It is more than rediculous that when I call during normal business hours I always get the automated service that tells me to call back during normal business hours. It is extremely frustrating and unprofessional!
