I shipped a package on 8/29/23 to Marina Del Rey, CA, for a priority express Wednesday delivery on 8/31/23; today, the package is still sitting downtown in NYC with no shipment or delivery date. I called customer service and gave them my service request number, and they told me I have to call the post office myself in Marina Del Rey, CA, and find out when it will be delivered, and the package is still sitting in NYC. The branch on York Ave told me to contact the downtown branch, and of course, the downtown branch told me to contact the branch in CA. No one has any clue about anything. Unprofessional, ineffective. This lacks any logical operational reasoning at all. Following instructions, I called the post office in Marina Del Rey and was disconnected twice.

Rude, offensive personnel. Refused to send my package to Greece. She told me she doesn’t understand my handwriting without making any attempts to look at it. She called her supervisor (whom I know and see often are least for 25 years, and who normally is very polite and friendly), the supervisor was as rude as her employee and her response was: I don’t need this. Any hope? Ever. Do they ever get reprimanded?

OMG, when is enough enough? The rudest, most unhelpful clerk (#03) is continually abusive and disgraceful. She refused to take my package going to Sweden!! She said they no longer accept international mail after 430PM!!! Whaaat? Who knew this? How would we know? How can they arbitrarily shorten hours for a kind of mailing? Why no notices or signs? And, God forbid they extend themselves and take the package AT 430PM. Add a lot of rudeness and "I don't care" attitude and you have Cherokee Station. Totally abusive and in your face. Not helpful, not professional, not decent.

A person at this post office acted like a sociopath. I told her I’d like a meter stamp on the envelope and she told me they don’t do that anymore. When I asked why her colleague did just that earlier today she said »Oh, you should go to him then ». She ended up charging me for some strange little coupon with a meter stamp. I like getting certain kinds of mail/envelopes meter stamped because the proof of the date when they are mailed is on the envelope.

I wonder if it's the same disgusting person/woman I recently was "mugged" by. It's disgraceful that they earn what they do, get a pension and are free to be as rude and abusive as they like --- which is a lot!!!!

Problem with the substitute carrier for 435 E. 79th. St. My mail on Thurs.was not placed in my mail box. Instead it was placed in someone elses mail box. It seems to be a recurring problem.
