I’d like to know the title of the man who is employed at the E70 street post office and hangs outside smoking hours a day. When he’s not smoking he’s drinking coffee and is doing not much more than that. Living on the block I see him on a daily basis at all hours of the day. Wow!! He’s got it made!

Absolutely taken aback by how RUDE the clerks and supervisors were. No mutual respect, refused to see MULTIPLE customers after the white larger woman who was a supervisor complained loudly about someone's attitude. The customer in question never yelled or said profanity but the supervisor just huffed and dismissed my issues due to her frustration from before. Every phone call is met with unprofessional demeanor and none of the employees answer questions fully or beyond 1 word answers. I don't understand how being a postal worker gives them the right to treat people condescendingly. We live in Manhattan and we are busy, I don't need to waste time seeing the employees have a meltdown before helping others in line.

I just read these awful comments about our very good, very polite post office people that are dealing with some very rude people who have perhaps been waiting too long on line. It's usually quite fast and efficient, and the manager on the floor keeps things moving. The one day recently that was difficult was the day of the big winter storm, when they had many people out and only 2 windows open for the long line. Otherwise, I have never experienced a rude person there and I've lived here for 45 years.

ATROCIOUS service - 22 times in the last six weeks packages are scanned as "not deliverable - no one at the address" when we have a 24 receptionist. This has become a joke many of my neighbors find the same thing. They don't even attempt delivery

Why doesn’t anyone answer the phone during working hours? My mail is supposed to be transferred from 315 E. 68 St, Apt 8E to PO Box 103, Cutchogue, NY 11935. Some of it transfers but a great deal slips through and comes to my NYC mailbox.

Why, Why, Why?? ~ ~ Do we have such an 'ice-cube-' employee, watching over the lines and monitoring the beautiful lobby of this location. So many lovely people working to service us, but, one bad apple really does spoil the energy of the place. This person is so toxic that we all may readily see how a person "does it to himself." I will find out his name and LYK! Do you think he will be ashamed? I LOVE the Christmas Spirit of our neighborhood. We are blessed with our great President!

Carrier continually leaves certified mail with receipt attached or signs herself. Sometimes she leaves an attempt notice, but I'm always home to accept the certified mail. It's become a joke. Complained to the manager there. He says he'll talk to her, but nothing changes.

Went to this post office today, shipped a small package, the black woman in the window asked if i wanted to add a tracking# for an additional dollar/something, I asked if it came with a tracking# she said NO, I did not pay and checked the receipt - there WAS a tracking #, it actually did come with it automatically, and she tried to charge me for it.There is another black woman in window 4, she is SHOCKINGLY rude and disgusting, she does whatever she wants, and the supervisor told me they couldn't do anything "because she is in the union".Can someone do something about these people?????!!!???
