Are employees of the United States Postal Service required to go to snotty school before they begin working? Every employee in the foothills station is rude and acts like it's a bother to help you except one person, hes a tall white guy with a beard and mustache. He is the only nice one. Everyone else including a little white lady with dark straight hair, and another lady that looks like she is SE Asian from India or Pakistan are the very worst of them all. They get to act however they please. No geeting, little eye contact, acts like it's a bother to help you, and then just turns their back on you walk away without a word leaving you standing there. Is that acceptable employee behavior in any workplace?

I went to get my mail out of my box on the 26th of April and found a paper for a certified letter stating couldn't deliver, needs signature, no one home , pick up on the 27th of April at foothills post office on Lomas. This would have been ok but I was home the entire day never left the house nursing my dog with a serious ear infection, when a certified letter is sent its because the sender wants to make sure you got it because it's important, so important that extra money is paid to insure you get it and sign for it to make sure you are informed of the information inside as often time sensitive or legal content must be addressed. The 7 feet from box to home must have been like the Sahara to not try to get me the letter hell honk the horn a couple of times at least make the effort to do your job, I never saw a IED in Iraq and said let someone else take care of it Im to lazy to do my job , but then again in Iraq people could lose there life here at home we could just lose our livelihood. Sick of the screw it attitude of people when it comes to doing there jobs, what will it take to bring back this country to its greatness ???? Let's start with EFFORT!

No one answers the phone all day. No one! Overworked? Definitely not over paid, so what gives? Very poor service. This post office reminds me of the social welfare office or MVD. They just simply don't care. Its a job and they go home. Package was not in my mail box after the scanner said it was. Where is the package and where is the person (supervisor) on the phone? Write your congressman. We need new postal service all together. More money for a bad system is just wasting more money!

Well i dont know if its covids fault or if its rudolpfs fault but i havent been getting my mail at all the last two weeks, so far i have a debit card that never arrived even though informed delivery said it was delivered, and im missing two more important pieces of mail,,,you know,, you cant blame everything on the pandemic, or holidays, the post office has been dealing with holiday rush for a lot of years so you should know what to do by now,,,it seems like covid is a crutch to be used when certain people simply dont do their job,,

We have lived in this 87123 zip code for almost 2 years. Not sure what the problem is with the carriers. We have problems with getting the right mail instead of our neighbors getting it. Happens mostly on weekends. This past Saturday I missed another Amazon shipment. The package in my box was my neighbors and my package was missing all together.

How many times does this have to happen before something is done.

I just came across this or I would have written a review sooner. My mail carriers were all great but Sue is the BEST!! She goes the extra mile! I had a birthday gift from my son that was very special and could have been left in the mailbox because it was small enough but she brought it to the door knowing it would be safer that way. I left NM and never got a chance to thank her and everyone at Foothills for such wonderful service!

today is dec 30, I was out shoveling my driveway with my dust pan because my shovel was stolen. i asked the mail carrier, a young man, if he could please hand memy mail . he had on head phones and kept saying what what, I also had a letter in the box I wanted mailed please. he said he couldnt do that because the road was snowy but he was driving along the whole street that was snowy, mine was the same as the whole street. he was extremely rude and did not even comprehend my simple question. he said he was going to report me as being rude and hostile. I do not apprectiate this encounter at all as I very politely asked him if he could please just hand me my mail. he is also the same one who often delivers my neighbors mail in my box and I have to give it to them.

Today 4-27-2017 we had the substitute mail carrier deliver a broken Item trunk cargo security cover for me and it was all beat up and the plastic end was broken. Every time we have this substitute mail carrier we get our packages broken. We have never had anything broken from our regular carrier, so I think the substitute does this on purpose and is very very destructive, and negligent. I was mowing the lawn when she drove up and brought the package out and dangerously stood this 5 foot long plastic and aluminum cover on its end leaning on our front porch which is an accident waiting to happen. She should have laid it down on the ground flat not lean it up againt the arm of a porch bench. It was very windy and the wind could have blown it over. I am so disapointed in the damage and destruction that this substitute carrier brings.

I used to live in the 87111 area and for 36 years never had a problem with my mail or carrier. In fact, I was so happy with the service I would give carrier tip and cookies and fudge at Christmas. Since I've moved to the 87123, my mail is delivered at different times; I don't get all my mail as I've had to call PNM and other companies requesting they resend my bills as I haven't rec'd them. Also, relatives say they have sent me cards with money and I don't get those. And most of all, he/she will never deliver certified mail. He/she always puts a notice in my box that he/she tried to deliver it but I wasn't at home. I'm disabled and do not have a car so I'm ALWAYS at home and don't appreciate the lie and my not getting my certified or registered mail on time and always having to call the post office for redelivery. I think we should get rid of government run mail and privatize it cause obviously government employees don't or won't do their job!

I received mail today that is over 30 days old (postmark) I found out carrier that delivered to the 87123 address was out for 6 weeks due to illness. No one else could deliver mail???? No wonder people are looking at alternative methods to correspond with people. How embarrassing for the Post Office. They have one job - deliver the mail. I tried calling for a few hours and all I get is a busy signal. Will try again later. Maybe they took the phone off the hook because I am not the only one that got 30 day old mail delivered to them today! Jeannice

People from the 87123 are not getting their mail delivered to the correct houses. people have to hand redeliver to their neighbors some blocks away from where the mail actually was dropped off by the carrier. This has been happening more and more frequently. my house alone has received almost 50 items for twenty of my neighbors and a few have brought me my mail from somewhere around the block. Currently I am missing two packages that are two weeks old from their supposed delivery date. when called to the 87123 office we were dismissed as if it did not matter.
