7/12/23: In line at 8:45am, waiting for the 9am opening. Plenty of time to observe a Federal facility. Countertop where customers are lined up, finger prints abound(how long have they been there?), floor needs to be swept(at least)and mopped. For my entertainment, a large roach crawls around the baseboard, trying to find a way in the door that is pulled down, other doors, back and forth. Voila, it's 9am, time to step up to the counter (when was it cleaned last?)! Appalled to say the least! A Federal building!! In the USA!

I received a notice of a package to be delivered. I checked my mail box and not only was my package not there, there were two packages for another postal customer. I hand delivered them to the proper address. When I check my tracking number, the message shows my package was delivered to my mail box. Not the first time this has happened. About a month ago another package went missing. Never got that.

Just a heads up for people waiting for a key for centralized mail at an apartment. I was told it "could take up to a month to get the key because there's only one guy doing it all!" I moved in June 2 and it is now July 13 and no key. I'm not blaming the postal workers but whomever thought it's a good idea to give a city-wide job to one guy needs to pick my mail up for me :)

So everytime I order a package online, and they ship with USPS, I know that I will have to take time off of work because the post office doesn't actually deliver packages. They make YOU come during working hours and stand in HUGE lines (social distancing goes out the windows when there's about 100 people inside that building). I wish I could find a way to tell folks I order from to NOT ship via USPS. Fed Ex. Delivers. UPS. Delivers. USPS - tough luck, take time off work, go stand in huge lines and deal with a tired, cranky postal worker when you finally get to the front of the line. I can honestly see why funding is being cut to this organization.

That sounds frightful-- but USPS delivers packages to my house all the time, so I don't understand why they aren't delivering to you.

Post office was open until 3 PM today, per website. Took packages to mail to my daughter in the AIRFORCE. When we arrived, 3 large boxes in hand, the worker at the door asked if we already had postage on the boxes. "No, that is why we are here". He said the window was closed, it was only 2 PM. we told him website said 3 PM, he reiterated it closed at 2PM. Had to come back home across the city, with boxes and ask boss if I can come in late tomorrow since I work till 530 PM. Double checked the website, nothing said the window closed at 2PM. NOT HAPPY.

I visited the post office this morning. Although it was clearly posted that masks were required, I saw at least two people not wearing masks. I know it may be difficult, but I think there should be some way to not allow people to enter the lobby if they are not wearing masks. There were several elderly people in the lobby and I am immunocompromised myself. People should be wearing masks.

Rudest postman ever. He jumps over the wall and cuts through my yard messing up all of my stones. Went out today to get a package from FEDEX and he was there and told me to shut my door because of my dogs which I was trying to tell him that they were in my office with the door closed but he would not let me finish talking! He said " close the door or I'll take my mail with me." I want him to stop walking through my yard or you can pay to fix the rocks every day. Will keep trying to call but the number is always busy.

I received a package from the New Mexico Veterans Memorial on 15th Oct '18, it was jammed in the small mailbox so tight that I had a hard time removing it, when I opened it the hot plate inside the package was broken. It was sent by priority mail, and cost $7.25 to send - UPS tracking number is 9505 5124 9576 8283 3111 01. I do have a multiple mail box with room for large packages on the side, so it was not necessary to use my small in box
