I am extremely disappointed with the Hold Mail service provided by the Livonia Post Office at 11800 Merriman Rd, Livonia, MI 48150. This post office, which I can confidently say is one of the worst ever. Despite requesting my mail to be held for three weeks during my vacation, none of this was accomplished. Instead, mail has been consistently delivered to my house every day, overwhelming my mailbox to the point of risking exposure of sensitive information. If not for my son, I would have been forced to search for my mail along a busy road. This is the second time this has happened during my annual three-week vacation. Last year, I filed a complaint with the post office supervisor, but unfortunately, it was blatantly ignored. Giving the post office another chance proved futile, as once again, my mail was not held as requested. It is disheartening to experience such a lack of commitment to a service advertised to hold mail securely. The exposure of my mail to potential risks is unacceptable, and I am deeply dissatisfied with this level of service.

If you could address the Postal employee that speeds close to 50 mph down Robert between Henry Ruff and Merriman that if he doesn't slow down, he's going to have to answer to the Livonia Police Department and the Post Master. He's on our Ring just flying down the road. He had to have just checked in to the post office between 7:00pm and 7:30 pm. He's a Black Male, heavy set and wearing earbuds.

I live in Livonia on Stark Road between Plymouth and Hines Drive and have absolutely the worst mailman ever! He likes to deliver the mail at his own convenience it could be 12 noon one day and then 8:30 at night the next, I've been waiting on a very important package that I've been tracking as of December 30th my package arrived at the Livonia post office at around 5 a.m. in the morning and here it is past 7 in the evening I live a half a mile from the post office and still no package.. the post Office closes at 7 but I've tried calling since 5 in the afternoon well before closing time and no one will answer the phone.. bottom line Livonia Michigan post office is a complete joke!

I have as of this week 12/21/2020 have had to put a stop payment on 3 checks for bills I have mailed in the last 3 weeks. Nor did my vendors get their Statements. This has cost me $50.00 dollars and late charges on my house and Visa payments. This is unacceptable service and want to know where and why my mail was not delivered.

We had to remove our mailbox from the back of the building due to the fact the letter carriers will only go back to mail box, not pick up our outgoing mail. We put a large red sign over the mailbox saying to come to front door to deliver mail and pick up mail. The letter carrier had to actually lift the sign to put mail in mail box, and never picked up our outgoing mail for the 3rd straight day. We are a business and need our mail to go out in a timely manner!

I scheduled a hold mail for June 9 thru June 13. My mail was delivered every one of those days. Luckily our neighbor checked our mail box & took the mail. Why did this happen?? Please respond. James Caris 9399 Patton St. Livonia, Mi. 48150

I have now not received any mail since 5/12/20 and today is 5/20/20. I talked to my up the street neighbor today, 5/20, and she received mail including the local flyers I did not receive ANY mail, and truly believe this is in "retaliation" to my previous complaints regarding my "rural" type mailbox door being leaving left open and my mail found on driveway, my front yard and even in my neighbor's yards. There are other neighbors in the area who have "rural" type mailboxes and have NEVER seen them left open. I have a note on the mailbox door to not just "flip" the door close, but to "close it" as it should be. I never had an issue with the previous carrier (Diane) who was just the best, and she has now retired. So, I truly belive this lack of my delivery has been in retaliation to what I reported now twice about my mailbox. Please let me know when I will can now again receive my regular mail. This entire situation has been been very "stressful" for me, and I would hope the postal service can help me. Thank you, Michele Singer 8842 Perrin St. Livonia, MI 48150 734-266-0439 (home0

Hi, I know it is a challenging time for all of us but I just wanted to let you know we are not always getting bills sent to our homes and then they are late in being paid. Then we might have to deal with the company regarding late fees. Also, I live in a condo complex and I would suggest that the four addresses in our courtyard (Elmira) be taken over by the postal worker who does this complex. It just makes sense to do the last four addresses in this complex courtyard instead of having a different worker do these four addresses.
