I was to receive a package today. Rather than deliver it to my mail box or to my front door, it was sent to the RV park office on the adjacent property, A grand distance of forty feet. I find it very unnerving that a postal employee would willfully deliver a package to the wrong address then leave a pick up notice telling me so. Why was it not sent to my front door or returned to the post office in Carmel for pick up later, where I know it will be secure? I do not find this acceptable and I question the legality of it. My postman has no knowledge if I even know or trust the people at this RV park. Please rectify this so it does not happen in the future. I do not wish to know my mail is in the hands of strangers ever again.
