why won't they drive half a mile down the road to deliver a package? I work and rarely can make it to the PO before 4:30, so my packages always get sent back. They suck!

My packages are handed to the wrong person in the post office . I have been handed another person's mail a few times but I hand it back. The person that has gotten my packages does not hand them back but instead keeps them. This has happened 3 times now . Mail service will not drive to my home to deliver packages. They say it is a mile past main road when it is a 1/2 mile of nice graved road

I'm convinced this post office is run by meth heads. It's the only explanation that makes sense. We're military, we've lived all over and had to work with lot of different post offices, most of which are great. Not Roy, they're the worst. We are constantly getting neighbor's mail, and having our mail sent to neighbors. Packages are jammed into our mailbox, literally jammed where the package has to be dismantled to remove it from the mailbox. If too big for mailbox, they are kicked into mud puddles, left upside down in strange places in the rain. Never on our covered porch, that would be too easy. But seriously STOP SHOVING PACKAGES IN OUR MAILBOX. Do not bend and smash them to make them fit. They don't fit. I literally can not get them out again without destroying the package and contents. What is wrong with you?

This post office has been the biggest joke & I’ve only been here a year... after countless issues with the horrible customer service, & the snobby post master... Today I have had enough, and my blood is absolutely BOILING. I walk into the post office, and the post master and a staff member are having a conversation AT THE FRONT DESK, (more like the post master just belittling the fairly new employee) INFRONT OF ME! The staff member was clearly upset, pretty red in the face, and trying to hide her tears. The post master doesn’t stop the conversation, even knowing that I’m there... The loud bell had gone off as I walked through the door... Another customer walks in... STILL, she doesn’t stop the conversation.. I look at the customer behind me and we’re BOTH just absolutely DUMBFOUNDED. Finally I shouted to her “DO YOU THINK THIS IS A CONVERSATION YOU SHOULD BE HAVING INFRONT OF TWO CUSTOMERS?!” She says “oh I’m sorry I didn’t know you were there”... I said “bull crap, you heard the LOUD ASS BELL GO OFF NOT ONCE BUT TWICE NOW!” She said “We had important business matters to discuss” I DO NOT CARE!! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! This should have been a conversation that took place in an office... Not infront of two customers... how absolutely inappropriate and unacceptable! No wonder why no one wants to work at this place, it’s because of HER AND SOLEY HER!!

This is the WORST PO I have EVER dealt with!! They told me my house was vacant, that's why I didn't get my mail. They put the wrong mail in our box constantly. Packages get shoved in the box which ruins the contents!

This is not the first issue I have had with the Roy PO...this time I received a notification saying that a package I was waiting for had been delivered to my mailbox on Saturday 7/11. It wasn't in my mailbox-but I did have other mail in my mailbox! I checked with my neighbors, and they still haven't received anything for me. I checked both of my security cameras and there was nothing dropped off anywhere outside of my house and taken before I came out and looked for it, and it still hasn't shown up! I've been trying to call them for the last two days whenever I get a chance while I am at work (that's the only time they are open) and it just rings until a vm message comes on stating that their system isn't taking messages, or something to that effect! How in the world does this dysfunctional place keep doing stuff like this with NO accountability??? The last time this happened was around Christmas time when I had two packages from Amazon that I was waiting for. Long story short-one of them was marked as 'unknown address' and sent back (even though I had been living there for almost a year and been getting mail the whole time)! And the other said it was delivered, but wasn't. And then all of a sudden, two days later I received a notification from Amazon stating that it was on it's way back to the seller because the PO said it was 'undeliverable'...all after I had already called Amazon explaining to them that both packages were missing and they had already issued me a refund!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

Roy has the worst mail delivery service I've ever experienced ? Says they attempted to deliver package @1:24pm 6/29/2020 funny we were home no one tried to deliver this package. They also can't read i get neighbors mail and they get mine also I get people who don't live at my address also even when I put a sticky note right on inside who's mail should go in mailbox. So tired of this been going on three years now! Nothing changes ?

This is only the latest in an ongoing saga. Two identical packages supposedly delivered to my box according to USPS tracking except only one is in the box. Three days later, the other package is a still no show. Anything that goes through the Roy, WA P.O. is subject to theft. They are a small tight group and they cover for one another.

We paid to have a package delivered on Saturday, 12/28. When it had not arrived by 3:00, we checked online and it said our driveway was not accessible. We were home all day, we do not have a gate and there was nothing blocking our driveway. A different delivery carrier delivered it to us today and said there was no reason it should't have been delivered yesterday. There has also been multiple times that they stuff large envelopes into our locking mailbox. They do not fit and do not get them all the way in. They also do not know what is inside to know if it is breakable. We also get wrong mail and wonder who might be getting ours.

I have an exception and my mail is to be delivered to the mailbox in front of my house. I have only received mail in this mailbox once, on Saturday the 14th of December even though the box has been there since 12/2/19. Was called by the post master saying my mail would be delivered to my new box , who knows where my mail is because it's not being delivered to my mailbox in front of my house. Okay, my mail was delivered to my mailbox today, the second delivery since the mailbox was put up

We moved here (Roy) a year and a half ago and I have had no problems WHATSOEVER! They have all been great to me and very pleasant to deal with. I have problem believing otherwise but guess it was the new boss that solved the problem. Keep up the GREAT work guys. Cindy

I am missing 8 packages from two consecutive days. Can't get through on the phone to this Roy post office--voicemail says something about "not being set up for voice messages". I have been on the phone for over an hour waiting on usps customer service to answer. wish I could use UPS or FEDEX only-my experience has been that the customer service is actually customer friendly and responsive.

I’ve lived in Roy for 6yrs now. All of the reviews are correct. When I first moved here I only received half my mail, They are lazy and returned to sender “no known address”, and I clearly had a confirmed address and mail they had delivered. I went into the office three times. Each time they made different excuses, basically calling me a lier (I then brought in proof) and blamed me once! It took about two weeks for me to get a response from the postmaster who was equally rude and offered no apologies nor fix. After dealing with them doing this for a year, I contacted the postmaster general in Seattle, faxed her copies of mail with the “no known address” on it. Something was done because I started getting all my mail. Red headed guy is an idiot and rude, acts like he’s doing people a favor to get your package. I’ve heard him swear at other people as well. Ive dealt with all of the issues stated in the other reviews. Asian lady has, I believe, taken my packages for herself. After I went back into PO 3xs looking for the same package (because even though it states it’s there, they can’t waste thier time looking for it andcwill brush you aside to help other people). I stood there for over a half hr, continuously getting into the line and told them I wasn’t leaving without my package! As he tried to brush me off again, the person he wanted to help next said to him, “I’ll wait while you find her package”. The Asian lady came out w my package, which had been opened and said “are you happy now?”!! The red haired man was shocked and said he’d looked everywhere for 3 days for the package. I’ve seen in other posts where other people believe the Asian lady has taken thier packages as well. Recently I’ve heard they have a new postmaster and I believe the red haired guy is gone too. However the Asian lady is still there as of last week.

I agree with the first 4 reviews. Must be a different mail person. Lazy!!! Wouldn't come In driveway to deliver package that doesn't fit in mailbox. Didn't leave the undeliverable mail card. Previous carrier at least put it at top of steps on deck. I would have gotten a larger mailbox if I knew it needed to fit parcels. All my life the mail carriers always brought them to the door.

They threw out my package. We got a slip in the mailbox saying to go pick it up, we went the next day and they said they couldn't find where they put it since it was addressed to resident (maybe under "R?" or would that be too easy?) and to come back later because they didn't want to look for it anymore. I just went back, after trying to call them multiple times with no answer, and was told that they threw it out because it was from a nonprofit organization. I told her I spent $25 on it and she said there was nothing they could do because they already threw it away. And that it was the organization's fault for addressing it to resident. I said we get mail addressed to "resident" all the time. She said the other employee got confused so she threw it away...but only after filling out and delivering the form for us to go pick it up...So I'm out $25 and an hour of driving because if they get confused at the post office they throw it away so they don't have to think about it.

I have been trying to call the post office for 45 minutes straight and no one will answer the phone. I just came from there and there was one person behind me when I left. WHY CAN'T THEY ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!! My time is valuable too and I should be treated as such! This is not the first time this has happened either. I think the Roy Post Office is horrible with customer service!!!

After two years of complaints I finally was able to get the postwoman to come to the house because the package didn't fit in the mailbox. This is the image... The jeep comes hauling ass down the driveway ..she makes a sharp u turn has her window open a throws the package over the back of her car.. my $300.00 worth of purchases are left in the dirt on the side of my garage. I knew my delivery was there because I saw the dust and her tail lights speeding out of my driveway.....after she see's this review....I will be lucky to get any letters at all...if you see my mail on the side of the road will you give me a call? Thank you!

I had been waiting for delivery of medication every day for a week. Got tracking # from sender and Robert at Roy post office could not figure out what a tracking # was. When I got firm with him he than looked up tracking # and said it had been delivered. I have a locking mail box so I know it was not delivered. Roy post office is the worst I have ever seen. Rude, lazy, and not truth full (liar's). He also said he would have his supervisor call me the next day and that did not happen. They once tried to put mail box next to ours from a different street because carrier was to lazy to make 1 more stop. The Roy office said there was nothing I could do - well there was and they removed mail box. I think they have all the rejects from across the country working in Roy WA.

Just moved out here and Roy is my Post Office. Ordered off Amazon and they shipped via USPS. Mail carrier just marked the shipments as "wrong undeliverable address." Obvious they never "looked" for my house. Address is clearly marked, access up the drive is wide open. Just lazy. We'll see if it is any better when I go the Post Office tomorrow to see if they have them.

Every time I have a package shipped to my house, I always unmark the box where it says to have someone answer the door, so naturally you would think that the mail person would leave it on the door step right? No, never the case. I always get a slip (in my mailbox, not on my door) that says "no one answered the door". Why would you go all the way back to the mailbox to leave the note if you're at my door writing it? Obviously you aren't coming to my door at all, or you would find out that there is someone in my house the day a package is supposed to be delivered for your convenience of leaving my package. AND just this morning, I go online at 10 AM to see if my package will be shipped today, and I read this: We attempted to deliver your item at 9:34 am on January 24, 2015 in ROY, WA 98580 and a notice was left because an authorized recipient was not available.I was given no notice on my door, nor in my mailbox, and none of my neighbors have received mail yet today. So my assumption is that my mail person is preemptively saying they aren't going to even bother dropping off my package today. Roy gives a bad name to the US Postal Service.

Roy post office workers are the rudest laziest bunch of postal workers I have ever encountered.. I have had issues in the past but today was beyond.. Mail lady left slip on sat to pick up package at Roy po, I stop I today Monday to pickup but nobody knows where it is. When I say you left the slip saying it was here where else could it be? I was rudely told don't know and they proceeded to help other guest as if my package was not important I was not important. Another po worker comes in While I'm pleading to other worker if he would mind looking for me and says I know where it's at I'll get it, she proceeds to back with first guy I spoke with comes back with sorry it's not there . The end no more help no nothing!!! No hey let's see if we can track it Nothing!!! This is my granddaughters Christmas gift tney could give a shit! They need to shut this one down and direct Roy to McKenna where the po workers are considerate!
