I discovered what appeared to be an unmarked parcel wrapped in white plastic. I was concerned, so a sheriff deputy inspected it to find it has a USPS shipping label; the label has my address, but to a person who is not a resident here nor has ever been. Instead of bringing the parcel to my delivery box, the carrier just left the parcel next to my mail box next to the street, so any passerby can steal it. I filed a report with the main postal service 1-800 customer service desk, and I was assured I would receive an email with the report # within a couple of minutes; it has been two hours and no email. When I dial the Monroe Post Office local number which normally gets me through to a customer service representative there, their phone continues to ring and is then routed to what sounds like a FAX machine. I tried to alert the Monroe Postal service staff that this parcel needs to be picked up by them today, via FAX, but when I attempt to FAX them I receive the message the FAX did not go through because that number is "BUSY". In short, I blame Mr. DeJoy at the National level for what appears to be an attempt to dismantle, piece by piece, the United States Postal Service so that it can be privatized or the general public having to rely on UPS or on FedEx for deliveries. But there is no excuse for the postal service carrier to have left the parcel by the street like that next to my mailbox. To me, that is gross negligence.

Multiple letters dropped off at the mailbox in front of Fred Meyer store in Monroe on June 10th, 2023 went missing and never arrived to their destinations. Destinations varied from local to East Coast. So, whatever happened to the letters, likely to happen before they were sorted. Monroe Post Office said that they have never received complaints about this mailbox before. But something went very wrong with our letters. Please be aware of the issue when using this mailbox.

Our mail is NOT being delivered because someone parks too close to the mailbox. I have important medications and legal documents that are passed due. Please have the offending vehicle towed!

I had a problem with mail being delivered so I called this location and spoke to James. Not only was he courteous but looked though all returned mail to see if it was returned. This man deserves a raise because his customer service was excellent and he helped me solve my problem. Thank you so much James!!!

Was just informed the USPS will no longer deliver packages to my address because we are more than a 1/4 mile off of the main road. We are just under a 1/2 mile and the regulations state that a house needs to be no more than a 1/2 mile. Are they lying to me?

Was notified that my package would be delivered to my sister today Sunday Dec. 15th, 2019. After she spent the morning waiting for the package I received a notice that they had a failed to deliver notification. The reason that was given was blocked driveway or front door. Neither of these were fact. There was no attempt to deliver! If you have something time sensitive do yourself the favor and have it sent UPS or FedEx because it is obvious that the fill ib drivers fail do attempt proper delivery!

Like the people there a lot. They are all very helpful. I wish they wpuld have an extended hours day during the week or be open a partial day on the weekend. I am always at work when they are open and i have to take time off to go there. Could be worse i suppose.

Our packages and mail are STILL being delivered to the wrong house. Not once, not twice, but three times now. We have complained to the manager after the second incident, who said he would look into it... well guess what?? A third delivery to the wrong house. 3 times in the last month and a half. MJ McDermott has a better track record with her weather forecasts than the mail sorters have at the Monroe Post Office. It was a chuckle the first time it happened, a shake of the head the second time... now it is truly WTF is wrong with these people. You’re paid well, at least give a damn about delivery and service and be professional. No wonder the USPS is getting to be more and more of a joke if this group of idiotic imbiciles is any indication of what the Post Office has come to.

Have let them know that our house is at the back of a long driveway and they still cant get it right, they keep trying to deliver my packages to the wrong location.. My frustration is through the roof and after waiting on hold twice for over 40 minutes I got hung up on both times.

We live at 310 Pike Street and it's 6:56 pm. Our mail's not here yet, and unless Ken or the other gentleman who delivered our mail yesterday - Wed, 2/7/18 -- take care of us (Ken's the best!), our mail's been getting here at 6:30 pm at the earliest for the last 2-3 weeks. Can we get our mail in the afternoon, like normal citizens .... please?

I waited at the counter for seven minutes this morning; employees knew I was there, but appeared to be having too much fun talking behind the drawn slats. At the end of the being-ignored period, I left and drove to Sultan, where the service is always good, as it is always miserably poor at Monroe. I have given up on Monroe (WA) Post Office, even though I have a Monroe address, except for vacation notices, which I cannot leave anywhere else. Regards, JT

I am a Amazon prime member. A package was to be delivered today on Sunday. The package did not even leave the post office today . I tracked my package and the post office says its delayed. How could it be delayed if it never left post office today. Oh yeah its delayed because the post office lied on the tracking information. It must be nice to be able to lie your way out of doing your job!

Same. Twice now Amazon says delivery on Sunday. Then i get a notice "mailbox blocked" went in fact it is not. They just don't want to deliver on Sundays. Someone needs to fix this.... Either don't offer Sunday delivery or follow though with it if you do.
