I have been having problems with this post office, they are not doing their jobs right. my neighbor received my mail in her mailbox most of the time and she is so kind to bring it to me and today my item was missing, I got a message saying that the usps delivered the package and placed it in my mailbox, looked and there was nothing. I believe they delivered it in the wrong mailbox again!
The message said was unable to deliver. Now it's on hold at Maple Falls Post Office for pick up. There was no reason why it should have not been delivered. It appears that the Postal worker did not want to bring the package to the house.
I received a message today that read: "We attempted to deliver your item at 5:26 pm on December 5, 2016 in MAPLE FALLS, WA 98266 and a notice was left because no secure delivery location was available. You may arrange redelivery by using the Schedule a Redelivery feature on this page or calling 800-ASK-USPS, or may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice beginning December 6, 2016. If this item is unclaimed by December 20, 2016 then it will be returned to sender." I know for a fact that I hade items set to be delivered to day that would have fit in my mailbox easily. I am aware of several community members that have had issues with our regular rural delivery person. I do not believe that any attempt was made to deliver either package I was expecting today (there were two) or any mail for that matter. I would strongly urge the USPS to evaluate and audit not only the driver I mentioned, but the Maple Falls, WA PO in general. They don't seem to be too concerned with actually getting any mail to anyone in a timely matter.
At the top of this page it says, "This Office has CLOSED permanently. Please check nearby locations below." Is this true, I have not received mail in days?
