I’ve neverrrrr in my entire life had complaints about a post office or a mailman until I moved to Kirkland!!! I’m missing mail and packages all the time here! Sometimes my mail is just sitting at the post office in the back room. I have to go there every so often and look for things I’m missing. Which is annoying because it’s 15 minutes away! Then the person at the desk keeps asking me if I’ve had my mail held and it takes 5 minutes before I can convince them to go look in the back! So annoying!!!

I put a vacation stop mail in December 2022 online with USPS. Received a confirmation number. When I returned from a week trip I went to Kirkland post office to pick up my held mail. Post office had no mail for me. It was all delivered to my mail box for the week. Then it was stolen from our mail. Postmaster had no good explanation as to why my mail wasn’t held.

No one answers the phone. I have been calling for two days several times a day. The phone rings and rings then eventually goes to a busy signal. Our mailboxes have been blocked by construction for a week and we haven't received any mail or notices to come pick it up.

My mailman needs to find a different job. He obviously cannot do this job. Every time I get a package that requires a signature he doesn’t even bother trying to get it to me. Why bother to put the option of having something re-delivered on the notice if the mailman is never going to try to redeliver it to you. One time the post office called me and told me that a package was going to be returned to sender if I didn’t come get it. I was not even aware that it existed. I never received a “we missed you” notice. Another time he shoved one in my mailbox without having me sign for it. I was fine with that because I actually got it. I have many other complaints about this guy regarding packages that need a signature. Also, if a package is too big for my mailbox he just leaves it sitting on top of it. Brilliant. Too lazy to come to my door. I have even left nice notes in my mailbox for him asking him about specific pieces of mail. I never hear a word back from him. I hope he gets fired. Perhaps I should get a post office box and then I can tell the guy what I think of him. Today I have to go down to the post office to try to sort out my newest mail disaster. Of course they never answer the phone or it could be done that way. Unbelievable.

People should have there mail by early afternoon latest and it should be put in the accurate mail box. our address is 433 5th ave west kirkland 98033. He needs to get with it or get someone who is

Terrible! I received this Your item is being held at the KIRKLAND, WA 98033 post office at 11:09 am on May 15, 2021. This is at the request of the customer. I never requested the package be held. I tried to call but just kept being put on indefinite hold.

The Kirkland post office left a voice message on our phone that they have had a package of ours for a month and will be returning it to sender in the next 3 days if we don’t pick it up (no tracking info provided but we assume it is a package shipped from overseas that was lost). We live 3.5 hours away and cannot just pop in to get it. We have been trying to reach them by phone to request to have it forwarded but have been unable to get through (busy signal yesterday) and today when we called right at 8:30 am, someone picked up, breathed into the phone and put us on hold. We have been on hold for over 2 hours with no hope of receiving any help. It looks like this is the kind of service many people experience when dealing with the Kirkland Post Office. Very disappointing to see that people’s complaints obviously go unheard. It is hard to see a point in “saving” an institution that is so poorly run.

It’s has come to my attention that the Post Office is monitoring our mail to gather up information on us. This is very evil if true. Please tell me why you’d do this?

Tracking 9400111898313826016605 This package was delivered 3/10 to 1106 38th st Kirkland 98033, there is no such address. It should have been addressed to 1106 38th St Anacortes 98221. No one will respond to my emails and calls to the Kirkland PO go to a busy signal.

A package of mine has been lost, 1 of 3 going through USPS. The last place tracking says it was at was this location. I was able to talk to someone about a week and a half ago and was informed the package would have gone to a facility in Seattle to be disbursed to it's destination. I am trying to get the phone # for that facility but no one has answered the phone at this facility for days now. I would like to find this package as the product is no longer available for reorder. Very frustrated with your services right now.

No mail for more than a week, open a request no response, try to reach the office multiple times during business hours, no response. Got a package delivery, tracking show mail box full (technically mail box is empty, but the package doesn't fit), no slip to inform me to go pick up

Very poor service. Condo group mailbox was left open and unlocked today. Also in recent weeks received several pieces of mail addressed to other locations. Only the house number and zip code were right--name and street were wrong. Called 425-739-6727 twice. Got recorded message, then wait for next attendant, then the call was dropped. Calling 800-275-8777 was even worse. Recorded message only blaming late service on Covid.

Terrible service. Called multiple times during business hours and no one answers! Frustrating! I have a package that tracking states delivery was attempted which is NOT true as I sit and work by the front window ALL day with maybe 2-5 minute break while many other folks were around. We typically see this happen when they cannot get a package delivered that day. They note "delivery attempted" and then deliver the next day. However, this time my tracking says it is now held at the post office upon my request. I did no such thing! So messed up!

The post office keeps delivering my mail to the wrong person costing me hundreds of dollars. He reports it as delivered in a locked mail box but it is never there. Additionally, when I got into the post office to pick up packages ( they REFUSE to deliver to my complex because they are in a fight with management) They aren’t wearing masks properly, if at all and that concerns me as an immune compromised person. I feel that no one will help us. Why should we fund you if you don’t do your job?

I have mailed PPE to Frontline workers with the correct amount of postage and it has been returned to me two times with math on it that isn’t correct why is Washington State or rather Kirkland post office trying to prevent Seattle citizens from getting proper PPE? I’ve sent at least eight and it keeps saying I need Seven forever stamps? I am disgusted.

I can not believe that we are still not getting mail. The snow is gone to the point that the streets are open and school is open and yet NO MAIL ! What ever happened to neither rain nor snow nor sleet … Our mail boxes are on 84NE in the 14300 Blk. I find it interesting that the person down the street who has a business gets his mail delivered to his house each day and we can't get in in a box on 84th. Venting. Sorry.

Over the last few months, our mail has been arriving later and later each day. What used to be delivery by 3 or 4 has gone to between 5 & 6. Today I witnessed the letter carrier parked in front of my house talking on the phone for 15 minutes. After finally going to our locked boxes and taking 12 minutes to make all the deliveries, he then spent over 10 minutes sitting and texting. I had to ask him to move so I could get my mail. This needs to be remedied.

After all the complaints that I have heard about the Post Office in the past, I was skeptical to call them to figure out the return of an undeliverable package. However, I called and talked to Austin who was eager and happy to help and was able to get the message to his driver to deliver my package even though I have only been living there for a month and my name wasn't on the mailbox yet. I'm grateful for his willingness to help and even though I hope I don't have to call back for another problem, I'm less cautious knowing someone at the post office is there to help!

I always receive the very best service from the Kirkland Post Office counter service, but over the last 18 months I have not received important mail, including checks for services. In particular, checks from the Kirkland Chamber of Commerce. This means, the client has to stop the check at the bank, reissue the check and I now have to go to the client's office to pick up the checks. I have had to set up online payments for my business but this has added administrative costs. I have a mail lock box so this shouldn't happen. One time I would be prepared to forgive, but three or four times is not acceptable. Particularly as these are letters sent from a local Kirkland address to another local address in the same city. Also, I cannot account for other mail that has been lost but which I am unaware. I have heard from clients that the checks have not been cashed (currently) so I have to assume they are being lost somewhere at the sorting office. I would so appreciate if you would investigate this. Thank You very much.

I live in a small condo complex close to the post office. Mail is regularly delivered to the wrong units. I have mentioned this to the supervisor, but nothing has changed.

Try to call their number 425 739-6727 and they just pick up and hang up. Have a package I refused and it has a tracking number. when first refused it went all the way from NJ to WA and they turned arou nd and sent it back to me. I took it back to the NJ PO and now the tracking number says it arrived at the PO on Mar 8 but does not show if the party it was returned to ever received it. What is the point of a tracking number if you are not going to complete the tracking information. This is a situation where I stand to lose a credit card dispute. Will the post office refund my money?

Every other day someone's mail in my Apt Building is placed in the wrong mailbox. Keys for the 'large item boxes' are put into the wrong mailboxes causing loss / theft of high cost items. On 05/08/17 I found my BANK Statement pinned to the cork board above the mailboxes, yet another piece of my mail misdelivered! My mail goes in the wrong box 2-4 times a month! This must be corrected ASAP!

Somebody from U.S.P.S.left a package last monday, 9361289674090207708679, on a ledge in the foyer, with the locked mail boxes. Jarrett, one of the reps for the Villaggio, said he saw a package just sitting there when he was showing the apartments. Obviously, I did not get it. What kind of idiot would just leave a package in the open area! Usually, if the package is too big for the little mailboxes, they are left in the office. There were some sensitive things in the package. I would appreciate an answer to this as a tax paying U.S. citizen Robert Kelsey
