I am so grateful for my letter carrier who delivers to Parcell Rd. She is great! Not only does she bring my large packages to my door: she is so kind. Thank you, R, for your great work!

I look through these grievances. They mirror the very same issue that my mother has been plagued with for over two months now. That is the pick up and delivery of the mail around Kingston. My mother who lives in my house for the past three years. The mail was delivered regularly and reliably until about two months ago. She no longer receives her mail. Instead her mail is delivered to other addresses and the receiver simply writes "not at this address" and the mail is returned to sender. This is a common denominator. The other common denominator is the fact that other residents have experienced the same or like issues over the same period. Yet another compelling common denominator is the fact that a new mail carrier was employed at exactly the time over the same period. Having conducted numerous investigations during my career and it is obvious to me where to look for the source of the problem. Instead, after repeated complaints my Mother gets lip service like the other denials other customers have received from the Post Master and offended when she lodged a complaint. Is the new carrier related to someone? Common sense makes me wonder how or why the Post Office continues to defiantly defend the the carrier when there is so much growing evidence to the contrary. It Isn't the sorting. After two months it should have been figured out and corrected by now. This is more than just a small inconvenience for many people. This issue extends far beyond the few complainants with the courage to speak out here. Just ask your neighbors.

I have had packages not delivered and sent back. Yesterday 2 items from Amazon said undeliverable! Because of ice I can’t get to the post office and these are gifts for Christmas! Saturday the post office isn’t open. Sunday is Christmas. I want my packages left inside my gate. What is insecure about that?

Dear Sir/Madam, I am contacting you in refence to a package I sent with your zip code instead of the correct zip. I live in France and sent a package(approx. 16" by 16") to C everhard 5881 Dixie Hwy. # H262 Clarkston, MI 98346...the correct zip is 48346...I was offered the wrong zip. I have my return address on the package but I'm hesitant to think it would be returned due to expense and inconvienence. If there is anything that can be done to correct this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention. Tom Sitler....June 16, 2022

Our post person just put a package on top of our mailbox! This was an expensive item! This is a new postal person, and should have had better training then that! This was an expensive item and was just looking to be stolen!

We have had several packages “disappear” even though they are marked as delivered in their mail notification app. We happen to have a camera that faces the driveway and clearly sees the postal delivery vehicle which does not even slow down by our box at the specific days and times the deliveries were said to have been made. We have items in the delivery app that never appear in our box. We have spent numerous hours on the phone with the postmaster and been told we could not even file a missing package report because it wasn’t considered “missing”. The process to file a claim is ridiculous and time consuming at best with no guarantee you will be reimbursed. The Kingston workers told us they would ask the worker about the items and get back to us. They never did. We contacted them and they stated the delivery person had checked with all our neighbors to see if the package was delivered to the wrong address. The next day my daughter went to all the neighbors to ask about her package and asked if the postal worker had already asked about it. All of them stated they knew nothing about it. Not impressed with USPS mail service. Last incident was a 2 day shipping envelope from Illinois mailed here on December 10. It didn’t arrive until December 23, that is by far more than the 2 days the shipping was charged for. Something needs to change.

Mail is regularly delivered late (around 5-6pm) if it is delivered at all. I live less than a mile away from the post office.....?

I don't know how you are sorting mail and packages, but several times my mail and packages are delivered to a location that has the same house number, but is on a different street several blocks away. Will someone please check the system to make this stop happening? Also, sometimes I get mail for this other person.

I've lived at my current address for 6 yrs and have never had my packages delivered to my home--even after I have repeatedly told the Postmaster that I am too blind to pick them up at the post office. Neighbors have found my mail in a ditch several times; I continue to receive other people's mail, and have had important mail missing repeatedly [e.g. bank statements and bills that cannot be paid via the internet]. This is the worst service I have ever experienced in my entire life. It feels personal and hostile; as if the mail carrier enjoys making it as hard as possible on me. The whole neighborhood has mail carrier complaints of one kind or another and have voiced them to the Postmaster, again and again. Nothing changes.

Horrible service they don’t deliver your mail or leave notices and when they do it’s someone else's . When I complain about getting someone else mail and go down there talk and fill out another paper saying who lives here and still no mail. Been dealing with this for months how many times do you have to complain to get your mail . Should I call the government bc I don’t need someone stealing my stuff bc your mailman can’t read address

For months now i have been asked to pick up my packages from the post office. i order everything from baby diapers and formula to cloths. i order online so i don't have to go to the store and buy them. the lady wont even get out of her car, instead just leaves a note for pickup. i just want to not ever go through them but sadly enough they are the only service available. cant wait for amazon to take all your jobs. just do your job and deliver my packages.

The people at the post office are great! They are always friendly and helpful. If I call they are polite and informative. I love my local post office. The main post office number (800 number) is a freaking disaster. Has speech only system, no real people. They suck.

I went out to our apartment's locked boxes to get today's mail and the whole panel was ajar. I swung it open and everybody's mail was exposed! Good thing one of our neighbors came out, and he was able to shut the panel except for the outgoing mail slot, so we put one item somebody had left there into one of the other two outgoing slots that were left properly locked. This guy's consistently late we don't think he is capable of competent work.

Not dependable. Since I am an online seller with a small business, I spend a great deal of money on USPS shipping. Twice since I moved to this location, my packages were not picked up. Yesterday, I put the package out for pickup at 8AM. Found out at 5:14PM the package was not picked up even though the notice was in the mailbox with the flag up at 8AM 1 This causes angry customers and bad feedback. In turn this affects my business. My old carrier in Kingston was fantastic, this one is hit or miss. Can't be trusted to pick up my packages.

I appreciate Josh Ottoway. The old Postmaster was horrible and not helpful at all. Josh is a problem solver (I was irate and not extremely reasonable, and he kept with me) and helped me find a solution to our problem. Thank you, Josh Ottoway.

Your service to a customer is terrible! I ordered an item to be delivered today by Amazon but you're now closed. Your pick up is listed on the door for 10:30 but I wasn't told until after 10:30 it was "available for pickup." This is like complaining to the government--no response is expected. Se la vie!
