I have lived in many locations and have never had difficulties with mail like this. I live on Clemans and it is a constant issue getting things ordered here. I will have my mail sent to Pomeroy and drive the 28 miles due to how bad the complications with getting stuff delivered to me has been. You can't expect any packages to be sent on time and I have had nothing but issues since moving here. I one time ordered an expensive computer component, and they not only left my mailbox open for everyone to see it. They also crammed more mail into there to the point my neighbors were trying to secure it (thank God my component didn't get damage or stolen through all of this). You can't get ahold of them over the phone and when you go to ask them in person about the where abouts of a package, they get annoyed and blame Lewiston. I'm not sorry for this review and from the looks from the other reviews in the past 7 years. It looks like there is little to no improvement. At least attempt to make an effort
I am very unhappy with the way we receive our mail! It is 7:30 P.M. and the mail is not here as of 7:00 P.M. I believe you should make our area two separate runs. I believe the mail carriers that have this
route are very good but it is to large an area for them to cover on their own. I live on Clemans Road but feel that they have additional routes they are running beside this route. Please consider two routes for this area.
I am very dissatisfied with the postal service in my area, twice now I received a notice that I need to pick up package because it said delivery attempted. Well I went down this time to pick up the package and it was still at the Lewiston Idaho office, (I live in Clarkston Wa. across the border), and it was not there, that was Tues. Jan 3. We new to go to the post office because our online tracking info already had the info of attempted delivery on there. The lady at the Clarkston Post Office said the supervisor made the comment that the package was to heavy to lift (this was a package of greenies dog treats 1lb). When I got home from my attempt to pick up but couldn't I found the mail finally delivered with the notice that they attempted. This is the second time in the last month, how can you attempt to deliver something if you don't have it to begin with? I have been handicapped these last months do to surgery and have been home both times so I hope you understand my frustration.
Hope you can fix
