We just move here November last year. We're 6 human being in the house. Any time we had a birthday card coming in the mail, either it rip them open or half open or completelyopen. And pretty much they open the top. In our families, it always money or gift cards. So my question is; whose doing this? Is the mail person or the workers at the postoffice? Who do I complain too? Please help.

We are a public school in McKinney Texas and got mail sporadically over the summer. There may not have been anyone in the building to accept mail on certain days. We are now back, but it has been weeks since we returned and still no mail. I can't get anyone to answer the phone at the post office, and the 1-800 number was no help. How is the best way to get our buckets of mail that are most likely being held at the post office?
We have not received our mail on Tuesday 7/27-7/29. There is a group mailbox at the end of our road. Neighbor found our mail in one of those boxes. Our mailbox is at our driveway further down road. Our regular mail person is on vacation. We would very much appreciate our mail being put in the correct mailbox.
My new mail carrier has repeatedly told me about problems getting to my mailbox. I have tied back all limbs that used to hang out over the area, but he has now resorted to putting my mail in my next door neighbor's mailbox every other day. He attached a notice to my last batch he delivered saying I had until July 30, or delivery would be stopped. He has already altered my delivery and it was only 1/21 that he notified me. I feel he is just being extremely lazy and impatient. If he continues this way, I will be visiting my local Post Office to file a serious complaint.
I have emailed this office many times in the last 1 1/2 years and when I let you know that the mail is not being delivered properly it is fixed.
Do I have to email every week to let you know that 1) I receive mail from my neighbors 2) I receive mail from unknown people with my address 3) I continue to receive mail from previous owners and 4) My outgoing mail is not picked up sometimes. For the last 2 weeks the above is happening AGAIN! What is it about your sorting process that the delivery carrier cannot see to place only our mail in our box? I have done the following to circumvent the mistakes: 1) sent 2 changes of address, one for us when we moved in and another at the end of one year.. 2) I have personally delivered our neighbors mail. 3) I have called the previous owner to ask that she send in another change of address. All mail is first class or Presorted first class. Sometimes I get the same mail back that I have written on the envelope: "MOVED! Please forward.
What am I to do? None of the mailboxes in our neighborhood have flags for picking up outgoing mail. Sometimes the carrier does not pick up my mail and I have to drive to the post office drop box. Please help me with this. I am getting very tired of this constant emotional drain. I will be having knee surgery soon and do not want this irritation to be on my shoulders to find neighbors and place their mail in the proper box.
We are not getting our mail timely. We were getting mail every day until the week of cold weather (2-14 to 2-20). Since then it is not timely. I've tried calling the number listed but no one answers. Is there something going on that has changed our mail delivery pattern?

I mailed a package to Marshall, TX on 12/14/2020, and it was sent to Marlin, TX. I called the Marlin PO, and the man said it would have been returned to McKinney. PLease let me know how to find it, or get the insurance.
Yeah not likely since the incompetence is at the Dallas Distribution Center and the actual carriers. Maybe start having the ability to fire these federal employees and then maybe they will start doing their jobs

Discovered a package that ups had for over a week was at this post office with the wrong address on it. Attempted to contact this office before my package was shipped to the wrong address. I called a dozen times. No one answered the phone. So much for my shipment. Who knows where it is now.

I was at the Central Expy location. Sign on door CLEARLY says “face mask are required in the lobby”. Only about half of the customers wearing them & one of the employees was not wearing one either. How are you going to “REQUIRE” them and one of your employees can’t even follow the rules!! Furthermore if the sign says they are required and customers are going in without them they should refuse service for not wearing them. If you’re not going to enforce the rules people are not going to abide by them so why bother posting it.... Not saying I think this should be a requirement for people to wear them. I think it’s a personal choice but if a business has it posted on their door that you are required to wear them, they should enforce the requirement. otherwise don’t post it!!!!
I order from a business in McKinney TX that sends its packages through this post office. There was an issue with neighborhood kids taking packages off of doorsteps because of this I always track my packages so that I can alert a neighbor to keep an eye out if I'm not going to be home when they get delivered. This post office is the worst, they are constantly causing delays in shipping. Currently, I have had a package sitting there for three days without being sent on its way. After this happening several times I finally got fed up and called USPS customer service, I was supposed to get a callback from someone at the McKinney branch but they haven't bothered.

Bad experience at this location. Mail fraud not handled by Post Master it employees. Locked my box when I paid my bill. Made me pay for 6mo. Box service again along with late fee in order to get my mail. Had to pay because medicine was being held since box was locked. Bad customer service from woman at counter, AGAIN! Have you take off time from work again tomorrow to try to get someone to listen to me for refund and address the fraud from December. Had to take medicine to lift the stress from anger that was all over me when I left the Post Office today. With heart condition I don't need this stress. The woman that handled my situation at the counter is the coldest employee ice ever dealt with. She needs Customer Service training. Bad experiences throughout my years at this location. Very disappointed, angry and pissed that I have to take more time off work to deal with these people that don't want to help. They just send you to stand in different line and they give you weak service with no solutions.
I am beyond frantic trying to locate a business size letter I mailed from Allen, Tx to Capital One bank Dec 6, 2019 to 101 Stacy Rd, Fairview. Tx. That bank does not have a mail box and it was undeliverable. The letter has not been returned to me and I am now frantically trying to locate where it might. I have tried the Allen PO and they told me it should have been returned to McKinney PO since Fairview does not have a PO. Any information as to where I might check woul be appreciated. Extremely disappointed with our mail service since our regular mailman left! Several utility bills have not been delivered causing late fees, neighbors receive my mail and I receive theirs. Neighbors are complaining about the same issues. This isn't rocket science folks. Please fix this!
We are getting disgusted with mail service. No one got mail last Saturday and today I got notice I was not home---I was home--and the carrier did not come to the door to even see if I was home. I have a camera which shows no one got out of the truck. And I tried to call your stations and it rings and rings and then goes busy. Do something. My next call will be Washington DC.

A blind monkey could do a better job than our delivery service. We don’t get mail for days, then we get someone else’s mail. When we do get mail, it could be after 8:00 PM! What has become of customer service, or pride in doing ones job? The Postmaster must be on a permanent vacation, or declining all calls. When you do get someone on the line, they can’t speak English! Very poor service for deliveries my neighbors mail is in my mail box at least 3 times a week. The delivery person does not shut my mail box all the way - it's raining my mail is soaking wet box wide open. I have found my mail in the street a couple of times. My address is on front of house, curb and in mail box no excuse. Then I don't receive mail for days just other peoples mail. I confronted the delivery person today because she did not shut my mail box again and my neighbors mail again was in my box. The driver had a bad attitude like I being a jerk for asking them to shut my mail box all the way. I then showed her my neighbors mail and more negative attitude she just drove off. No apology just a bad attitude how does this person have this job? I hate to see what happens to my mail now that I confronted them.
I live at 303 Eagle Point. My subdivision is Quail Creek. It appears there is an issue with many of us not getting any mail for the last week. Normally a day does not go by that I don't get at least a piece of junk mail. Our area is confusing as it is several streets that do not go through and I know in the past some deliverers get confused. Please check into this. Thank you.
Just moved to McK. Received notification a package was delivered but it wasn't in the mailbox and mail carrier didn't leave a key to open the package slot. Tried calling local office; main office number is out of service and the other location just puts you in a do loop to enter your parties extension. I can understand all the bad reviews.
McKinney Post Office (U.S. Zip Code 75071-8095) is a TERRIBLE Post Office. Every time I have called a man who can barely speaks English, answers the phone and before I even tell him what I want, he asks me to hold on, and then drops my call after waiting FOREVER. WTF? As someone else wrote, the delivery is haphazard as can be. I've been told for two days, via "on-line tracking", to expect this package. The tracking service on line is NOT reliable. I took off work and ... NOTHING. Need to improve this service, because it is BAD. I have no problem with immigrants, but PLEASE put someone on the phone that answers politely, speaks proper, clear ENGLISH and then LISTENS to what you have to say before putting you on hold on and disconnecting your call.
Mail delivery is haphazard. Never delivered at the same time and we may go several days without a delivery. Packages are delivered to the wrong address, not delivered at all or delayed by days. The mail here is delivered by contractors in unmarked vehicles, not in uniform or wearing an ID badge. I thought Federal law requires the US Mail to be delivered by postal employees. We had a package delivered recently that had been returned and then sent back to us and the mail contractor told us we had to pay for the return mailing. We did but she was unable to give us a receipt and had to call her supervisor to find out what to do. I have filed a complaint with USPS a week ago but have received no reply. I will continue to do so until I get a response from someone. Reading these reviews it looks as if I'm not the only one with this problem. Maybe a call to a local TV station would be in line at this time.
After 4 years of receiving mail at my office I'm finally fed-up with the
postal delivery person(s). My mail reception location is one of 16
receptacles of which I own 3. Two of my 3 receptacles are blocked
with signs stating not to deposit any mail there, thereby allowing me
to receive (and check) mail in one location. I just found old mail in
the other 2 locations and not only for my business, but also for the
other 13 business slots. We're all tired of our postal delivery person making these errors almost daily. Every once in awhile one of the
offices will find everyone's mail in their mailbox. That's just plain lazy!
If the P.O. needs more people, then hire them! Please do whatever
it takes bring integrity back to the Post Office again. Thank you!
Where's my mail? For the past two days we have had no mail service. I have been awaiting certain bills as well as important documents and there has been no mail service. I believe that there is a relief delivery person or a new delivery person; either way they have been getting progressively later in their delivery each day for the past week. Now --- no delivery at all.
Since moving in to Stone Bridge Ranch (WoodHaven subdivision), we've been experience what I'll nicely refer to as error-prone service. Have been receiving neighbors mail including a "Certified" letter meant for another address down the street. For the last two days, I've left outgoing mail in my box (with flag up). Carrier ignores it and delivers new if we have any, but never picks up the outgoing.
Now today, I call the contact number. It rings for a while, then hangs up on you. No voicemail. Nothing. I called the national 888 number. Supposedly getting a call back in a hour. I don't have high hopes.

I have lived at 9021 Bedford Lane 75071 for 9 years. The first year I received my mail and weekly flyers every week. Then the weekly ads stopped. I use these to budget my groceries being that both my husband and I are on disability. I believe the stores pay for the USPS to deliver these ads. I have had to ask my children for thier ads. I guess only certain areas have postal workers who deliver all the mail including ads. I haven't even begun to complain about mail I receive from other parts of texas in someone elses name.

Is there a reason the mail carrier for Riverview Dr not picking up outgoing mail? It's in the box by 7am, it has postage, and is properly addressed, and the flag is out and yet it is constantly being left in the mailbox. I could understand one time, but constantly?

The carrier in the Trinity Falls development does not deliver or or check for outgoing mail at our address on a daily basis. It appears the only time they stop is when there's a mail delivery. Service is inconsistent and unacceptable.
Today, 23NOV2016, is the third day in row that our postal carrier (Trinity Falls development) has failed to deliver OR pickup the outgoing mail from our mailbox. Absolutely PATHETIC "service". Is it any wonder that this operation is losing BILLIONS of dollars every year. I can't wait to see what takes place during the Christmas holiday. Maybe, if we're lucky, we'll get our packages sometime after the first of February 2017. WORTHLESS!!!
Yesterday my neighbors yard service truck was parked in front of my mailbox. My postal service delivery person did not want to leave my mail in the box, so she left it on the fender of the yard maintenance trailer. The yard men did not know me or know who the mail was for. Is it appropriate for our mail to be left in the street? I have never seen such inappropriate mail delivery.
We are not getting out mail until late if we get it at all. We are at Woodson and Eldorado. Friday no mail. Saturday 11:00 pm. This has been going on for weeks now. We get other people's mail. Others get ours. Thank goodness there are a lot of honest folks in our neighborhood. Please get this straightened out. Last I heard we taxpayers support the USPS.
There are days we get no mail. Like yesterday, my dropcam caught the mailperson turning on to our street and promptly pulling into my neighbors driveway, turning around and leaving at 8:06pm.
If the USPS wants to ensure they all have jobs and not eliminated by Congress in favor of a private company, they better remember who they work for - us!
Terrible postal service. IF I actually get my mail,it's folded in half. Today, my neighbors mail was in my mail box and my mail was in my other neighbor's mail box. I had a sensitive piece of mail today that could have easily been stolen and used. This happens all of the time!
Weekly mail gets delivered incorrectly. My mail goes to anyone within 1-2 blocks or never arrives. I receive mail daily that is not mine. Been at this address for over 5 years and it is getting worse. Some days the mail person doesn't show up at all to collect out going mail.
I have had other peoples mail in out box nearly ever other day. its been either our neighbor to the left or right and sometime the neighbor across the street. Our mail has been delivered on average every other day vs M-S.
We have had other people's mail dropped off in our mailbox three times now this year. All different addresses. We even had one that was the same house number as ours but a completely different street name. We had our neighbors mail from the IRS dropped off at our house which we dropped off but who is to say that they would do the same for us. (We are not on speaking terms).I am worried that our mail is not being delivered to us. I have gone out of my way to drive to another persons house just to deliver their mail because I've tried putting 'Wrong Address' and putting it back into the mailbox but they never get picked up. I understand mistakes happen but when it is happening multiple times and our mail could be getting trashed or opened instead of returned to us, it definitely worries me that someone could be stealing sensitive information because our mail is not being delivered properly
My post office has begun returning my mail stating that "I have moved with no forwarding address"!!!!! I still live at my address and have since 7/28/2008! My contention is I receive mail for people who do NOT live at MY address- I have marked that mail "not at this address" and sent it back. I also cannot tolerate the 90 percent of my mail that is Bulk or "to resident"- last month I returned that mail "return to sender" NOT "no longer at this address" or that i had moved!!!!...Anyone feel like I do about the Junk mail and the entire waste of paper and possibly losing something important in the pile of profuse junk!! (when I moved here I was told I couldn't refuse junk mail but that I had to call the mailers and ask them to take me off of their mailing list....I tried that for a while, but it's a losing battle because 5 more start mailing!!!!!!!....... The post office had recently given me a card to list the residents of the home a few months ago and I completed it but yet I STILL get mail for other people, the same people as before, sent to My address!!!!! I have gotten 2 phone calls from senders, including my mother who was concerned, letting me know my mail had been returned as "moved with no forwarding address"??????? No wonder the post office gets the complaints it gets and is going bankrupt! They can't get their sh.. together!!!!!! I called the local office at 5:59 when they close at 6pm and Greg told me he couldn't help me because they are closed (preparing for the next day) and asked me to call back tomorrow. After telling me I called the wrong number. I explained that the website shows it is the "direct line" for that office- he then told me I "can use that number when I call back tomorrow??????? God forbid he help, take a few minutes to do their job.... especially when the error is very obviously on their side of things. I certainly haven''t moved!!!!!!!
