We have called USPS over 75 times to be hung up on transferred to disconnect phone line unable to speak to anyone at post office.
Our package which contained car keys and home key garage opener fob Toyota car fob keys to entire home were delivered to wrong location and then we opened case which was changed to resolved but not actually resolved still do not have our mail. Our keys are out in public unknown location with our address in the package so whoever has them knows where to use the keys. No one has helped us. We created missing mail search to have it just continued to say it was delivered and rescaled when it actually is not resolved. We are worried for our safety and theft because whom ever has the keys has not dropped off at our home has been 11 days. Terrible mail USPS service in McAllen. Never had problems like this. Terrible I woolen should be fired
My package arrived at the McAllen Distribution Center on April 30 @ 09:30 a.m. As of 5/04, the package has not left the McAllen Distribution Center. I filed an inquiry, but that takes 3 days to process. USPS is a failure. The McAllen USPS is a total failure. Mail system should be privatized. Taxpayer money should not be wasted on this joke.
Hola, mi nombre es Victor Moreno. Mi siguiente mensaje es un reporte o queja hacia la administracion del post office correo de los Estados Unidos en Mcallen Tx. de la calle Pecan y Mccoll. Lo siguiente es porque hoy martes 5 de Abril del 2022 fui a esta misma oficina a tramitar mi pasaporte y presente los requisitos originales, certificado de ciudadania americana, el cual en ningun momento me explicaron que dispondrian de el por mas de dos meses, si no hasta terminar el tramite despues de haber pagado y terminado me doy cuenta que no podre disponer del certificado de ciudadania y esto me acaba de ocasionar un grave problema porque yo lo necesito para dentro de dos semanas para un tramite de inmigracion. por lo tanto, le pido a los administradores o directores de esta oficina postal que entrene y capacite a la persona que atiende al publico para la expedicion de pasaportes americanos. No es posible que la persona encargada lejos de informar al publico lo que este tramite implica, se limite a guardar silencio y hasta cierto punto con actitud desagradable y negativa hacia el publico en lugar de dar la informacion completa. Pido de la manera mas atenta con respeto que pongan una solucion a este grabe problema originado por la persona encargada de expedir los pasaportes y tomar las fotografias. Ojala, y mi reporte o mi sugerencia la tomen en cuenta ya que como cualquier ciudadano tengo derecho a expresar mi inconformidad. Muchas gracias, de antemano.
Post offices need a DIRECT number to get a hold of someone for assistance. 30 minutes on the phone and nothing. I can't get any assistance on a package that was supposed to be delivered. Post man said he'll return today. No one was home and they didn't leave a note. Now I fear the package will be lost. Services need to be better for assistance. Customer service number needs to allow you to be transferred to an agent.
I don't know who to speak to about my packages. I have not received my last 2 deliveries. My tracking number say they have been delivered.
No where in sight. I have lived in the same address for the last 6 years.
I call and call and it just rings and rings to eventually it hangs up to a busy tone
I need answers and that’s why I call just to not be able to speak to someone when it says my call will connected to speak to a representative. Yea right!!! Answer your phone that’s what it’s for!!
I am not sure where to call in order to report that I am receiving someone else's mail in my mailbox & I am also NOT getting my mail in my mailbox. The neighbors sometimes place my mail on top or outside of my mailbox. I also return their mail by placing it on the proper area and lift the red handle on the mailbox so that the mailman can see that the mail he has put into my mailbox is NOT mine. The address is clearly seen on the envelop and it is NOT my address (which is on the outside of my mailbox). Who do I report this to? I have called the San Benito post office (about two years ago) and they stated that the person was new. This has been happening for quite a few years now.
you are not alone, I have a package missing since 9.09.2020, they stated it is a whole bin that is missing, and no one has been able to track all those packages ...makes no sense how no one knows where all these packages are at...mines is saying its in PA still in transit.

My order has been at McAllen post office since July 9 and I’d like to know where is my package it’s been 11 days since it arrived at your location. Please I’d like to know where is my package and also I’ve been calling for the past week everyday and nobody answers WTH!! Please get back to me.

I have packages delivered to this post office and delivered to my local post office.Why is it that they show acceptance at this location and I check a week later package is still there....... What is the hold up people I need my packages. Deliver our packages on a timely matter!!!! worst delivery service McAllen, TX. !!!!!!!!!
I like the way I paid for my package to arrive in another state for the 22nd of Dec for my step son Christmas gift.

just got a text 1-2-2019 that my package is in Philadelphia.
it was to be sent to Manheim Pa.
should have been sent to Lancaster Pa post office.
McAllen needs to read mailing labels right.
when u see a package that has a tracking # or is to be at the other address by said date.
not send the item the way McAllen want's to.
they did not pay the $$.
McAllen is the one that held up this whole thing.
it is on their shoulders.
as a post office McAllen stinks.
for now on I will send my packages through UPS.

I've live in McAllen at the same address for more than 5 steady years. I own my house. I've only gotten this post office (McAllen Texas) to answer twice. In that two times, once hung up on. Postman has told me they DO NOT deliver any kind of packages (if it doesn't fit in my mailbox) in my area. But when you check the tracking, #1: delivered, left with individual. (There was nothing delivered) #2: attempted delivery, no secure location left notice (they never leave notice) #3: redelivery rescheduled.(Never attempt to redeliver due to they can't deliver in my area) #4: delivery error. #5: package not available for location/ track. #6: package lost/stolen. Even says left notice then 5 minutes later says delivered? And many more excuses. Then when I go to the office, nothing they can do, or just wait till the next day to see if you get it (I never do) rude behavior and pretends I'm lying (when they can see what I'm saying is true) ----0 stars. But really? Nun of these comments even will do anything to help or change it. I have filled out many complaints (either lost, thrown out, or say they didn't get it.) Or simply don't care about it.
Mr. Sánchez, i recommend that you contact the post master general's office (do a Google search for U.S. postmaster general's office) and file an official complaint there. Make sure you have the post office employees names that you have been in contact with, the location, dates and times of contact, photos of your home and mailbox, etc.

We have a case of a missing package and went to this post office to find out about it. Regardless of a long line of people, some crabby, and my complicated problem, the employees were pleasant, cheerful, and went above and beyond their duty to help us. They were kind and understanding. I can't say that I would be able to do their job as well.
no service. 13 days since our post office in iowa started forwarding our mail to mc allen and none has been delivered. local mail people say they don't know why. no one seems interested in putting forth any effort to help.
Lately I have found a lot of my packages that are supposed to be coming from the post office are not getting to me ...I'm not having them delivered or they are returned. There are people living at this house. I am extremely disappointed with the service… And I will be increasing my security cameras around my front door in order to monitor who comes and goes… I've had to request many refunds on packages that just don't get here… This is a peaceful quiet neighborhood and I will go around to everyone and have them keep an eye on my place as I will keep an eye on theirs as well we don't need this in our neighborhood... by the way I would greatly appreciate it if you took this serious. Your service has declined in the last couple of years… I'm sorry to say…
I had this exact same issue with the client I tried sending a package to a couple weeks ago. Packages just aren't making it to their house and they say this happens quite often. I have been calling multiple extensions at their location over and over to discuss retrieving the package, but the carrier supervisor Jose never picks up his phone nor does he follow up with me on matters he's promised to look in to. Very unprofessional.
No wonder USPS is a failed business...30% of envelope size mail is delivered late by several days,or in one of my neighbor's box or NEVER...it does not matter that I posted a 4 inch letter of my apartment on my door AND on the mailbox's door...the USPS route delivery person is too blind or failed to pay attention...he/she is sooo lazy...does not even get out of the truck to attempt delivery of a small package...he/she just leaves a "missed delivery" note in my mailbox...my surveillance cameras /security system recorded the activity (or, better said: lack of it...) ALL calls to 956-971-1703 -main USPS location on Pecan are NEVER answered...NEVER !!! USPS Customer Service is an offensive joke on us...There is no "USPS Customer Service"... When I called 1-800-ASK-USPS® (1-800-275-8777), the "interactive" answering service does NOT give the caller the option to contact ANY USPS Customer Service...When I tried submitting my inquiry via email on USPS website gave me the answer "technical difficulties...try submitting again at a later time"... I have been trying for 3 consecutive days this week!!! Don't think this is the first time I have encountered these problems...USPS has always been a non-reliable business and -whenever possible-I agreed to pay more to UPS and FedEx just to avoid USPS ..but..sometimes I do not have have other choices but using USPS...and each time USPS dissapointed me !
They never pick up the phone. I am not getting 90% of my mail. I never new this, but your life can be turned upside down if you don't receive your mail. For example, late bills equals late charges and discontinued services. This service location has a bunch of idiots running it.
