Held a package marked and paid for over night delivery for 4 days and then returned it as refused. I called, AND I went in person 3 times and each time the postmaster told me that it was carriers discretion to deliver or not, even with overnight mail. She lied to my face 3 times and told me the package was no longer there despite tracking confirmation to the contrary. When the sender FINALLY received the package back, it had been opened and one of the items was broken. That office should be shut DOWN.

Madisonville Post Office Why in the HELL can’t they post master and our route carrier get our mail straight. I have emailed the USPS twice and been to the post office 2 times. Everyone one on the route have complained numerous times. And also been to the post more than 1 time. Also our boxes will not lock or unlock. This not something that just started happening this has also been reported several times. Post Office said they new they were broken, then why haven’t they fixed them or called the proper company that fixes them. That’s also been happening for over 2 months. Sorry for the people on this route. What about the elders on this route they may not realize why they haven’t been getting there mail or checks that they expect ever months. I am “Mad as Hell”

I was just wondering why we started getting our mail at 6:00 p.m. at night instead of the mornings we have always gotten our mail early but now we get it late. Can somebody give me a reason why this is happening?

The NICEST post office experience I've had in a very long time!!! The lady who served me was not only cheerful, helpful, friendly and professional, she was kind to my daughter, too (who was "shopping" looking through the display of cards). Helped me label and pack my items and shared some local knowledge with me with a happy smile. So nice to meet people who are good at their job, and obviously like their job, too! Thanks Madisonville!!
