They have lost 1 package and 4 packages show "delivered in community mailbox". The postman left a key in our community mailbox, but the key did not work. I left a note apologizing and explaining that the key did not work.
The key disappeared, I surmise the postman took the key.
No replacement key was placed.
The packages were not manually delivered.
I surmise the 4 packages are still inside the mailbox, but there is no way to get them.
It's been several weeks.
I filed an initial complaint through the official USPS website.
Nobody ever contacted me, but I did get a survey asking me how satisfied I am with the resolution.
I pay extra to have things shipped via. UPS or FedEx, but some things just go through USPS and unfortunately you may not get it.
Terrible just terrible can’t get a single thing right. Doesn’t answer they’re phone when needed, can’t deliver packages on time to save their life shit is sad. Why my package been stuck in Katy’s distribution center for 3 days now when I’m only a single zip away.
The worst agency and customer service EVER. I have bought a book and I requested my sister to send me (UK). My box was delivered totally opened; the books inside came wet. This book was expensive, and I cannot open it because the pages are stuck. I cried for many days because I need this book to study. The agency's employee HAS CHANGED THE BOX, IT DID NOT PUT ANY PROTECTION and ALSO DID NOT INFORME HER TO PROTECT IT WITH BUBBLE WRAP (THE BOX WHICH WAS USED WAS VERY FRAGILE). I am devasted, and I paid too much for this horrible service. I already sent many emails to the agency, and until now, no solution. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY. YOUR PRODUCT WILL BE DAMAGE, AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RUBBISH.
This place is awful. 3 times my packages have been delivered to my neighbors. Thankfully I have great neighbors and they gave me my package but this office is the worst. They never open on time nor can you get anyone the phone. Do better! Is their a number for complaints?!?
This place is a disgrace of a government facility. I have been coming twice a week for the past month to pick up my mail (waiting on a key change for our mailbox). The wait times are ridiculous. I may be second or third in line and always wait 30 minutes at the very least. For no more services than they provide, I do not understand how this is acceptable customer service. I am presently standing in line at 9:14 am and they have yet to even open the lobby door. I have tried calling and the phone line is “busy.” This place is absolutely disgraceful.
A customer in line had to walk behind the building and track someone down to open the lobby doors at 9:23 am.

I wanted to say thank you to mail delivery person Mike. I live at 5115 Rocky Terrace Katy 77494. The lock in my mailbox had broken and I had been trying for 3 months to have it replaced. Had been to the Pin Oak Annex and the Old Katy office to report it and pay the $50 fee. Had been very difficult getting my mail. I had spoken to several delivery persons, different excuses each time. Last Saturday Mike called me to say he had brought the person and replaced my lock and delivered my new keys. A big thank you to Mike. Sorry don't know his last name.

The box outside the Katy Annex is often full and to make matter worse the time the box is emptied is never on time.
Today I had to wait over 1,5hr and gave up. Luckily I managed to stop a friendly post carrier and she took my mail.
We are relying on the mails are been sent on time, so our clients are getting their products on time. If not we will get bad feedback.
Since the box is outside the Annex, it should be possible to empty this box more often or get a bigger box.
Horrible! Supervisors & filing claims DO NOT MATTER! Weekly, the carrier marks my package as delivered but never delivers to my address(just where ever she wants to which ever neighbor she wants to have my packages, I guess). Online “request carrier pickup”. That’s another joke, they’ll mark as picked up but they don’t even stop to pick them up and I’m left running to the PO the next morning with late deliveries on my outgoing packages. The carriers in KATY TX ARE LAZY! For the amt of pay they get, you would think they would show some pride in their work. (Let’s not forget how long packages stay in one katy facility location for days sometimes a week)
Horrible carrier at Katy Annex!!! I have had them "lose"& "mis-deliver" so many times in the past 8 years I have lived here it is unreal! I am constanly getting other peoples packages and never getting mine when it shows as delivered in tracking.
Filing claims does nothing, Calling and making complaints does nothing. They don't care about the fact that you lost money or that someone is getting paid to do a job they aren't doing.
I called the Katy Annex Post Office today 12/7/2018 at 4:20 PM. They are supposed to be open until 5:00 PM on Fridays. After listening to all the different options, I waited patiently to talk to a actual person. After ringing a bunch of times, the phone went from ringing to the fast ringing sound. I have a package that is supposedly stuck at the North Houston distribution center but the phone number there is discontinued. I can't believe how inefficient the USPS is considering how long you have been in business!
Every time I have received packages out of Katy, the tracking information does not show up. Currently, The office received a package for shipping on Sep 04, 2018. As of Sep 10,2018 according to USPS tracking it is still in Katy. What the heck is going on that they can't get the package moving, or, if it is, show the most recent location.
