Hondo Post Office is top-notch in my opinion. Sam, Emilio, Vanessa, and Brian have all helped me in various ways to start my little home business and to make sure that I knew how to get supplies and how to use the right shipping box or envelope and I just want to express my deep appreciation. Thank you. Cara Carlson-Roberts

I have not received several packages that came from Amazon. Once again today I came home after looking at my Amazon account, which said your package has been delivered and is in your mailbox from US PS. I went to the mailbox and of course there was no package in the mailbox for me from Amazon which means once again they lost it. If I ever did my job like that I would be fired and the sickening thing about it is they report to Amazon that they delivered it.

The women that work here have always been helpful and courteous. There is a man that works there that is rude and condescending when we try to pick up our packages. The last time, he was so rude, it's not a surprise ppl are now using UPS and FedEx more. When we asked for him to get our package he walked back 15 seconds later came back and said it's not here...really in 15 seconds you could defer that? When we asked him could you please than call the carrier see if she has it so we don't have to drive 20 min home to find out its not there and up here (which the ladies offer and have done in the past). He lied and goes we don't have a way to contact her. We told him, really because it's been done before and you can't say you have no way of contacting one of your employees who drives on rural roads or checking your system to see where our package is...his response was, don't tell me how to do my job. When we were, by this time very frustrated, decided to leave, I said thanks for your lack of help. He smiled a very snide smile and in a tone dripping in smugness responded, oh, it was my pleasure, then chuckled. This is not the first time he's treated us this way. I know government employees don't have to worry about customer service since their jobs are pretty much set in stone but this is ridiculous, it's like he gets a power trip acting like that. Iam trying to contact UPS and ask them not to drop my packages off there any more when my gate is shut.
