The rules state if you live within 1/2 mile of the postal box, they have to deliver an oversize package. Well, they just told me to go suck it again this is unacceptable. The postmaster a In Castroville needs to be replaced now!

have been packages damaged. and this week when we used an ebay return label, wrapped return package with heavy white paper. the box was returned to us because of the label that was on the box. the person who was supposed to receive the returned item said they got a picture album in the box instead of the item. so it happened at this post office. isnt this a felony to steal an item being mailed through the post office?

I had an incident on Tuesday 12/15/20 in which the male postal worker assaulted me. The customer service with this location has continuously gone downhill. I am not sure if the management even knows about the altercation, but the police took a report and asked if I wanted to press charges. At the time I chose to let it go. Upon further thought, I feel that the management will look the other way and allow this to continue. Therefore, as I try to report it within the United States postal service and have failed. I feel there is no other option for myself but to press charges. Though the report with local law enforcement exists I do not see the postal service seeking this report or reprimanding the employee.

I had an incident i am a local 5 th generation hispanic. I am taking several meds and taking chemo i forgot my key only once in the last 20 years with Castroville post office and i asked a hispanic lady if she could help get my mail from in back box and she got irrational and yelled what did you do with it?! did you lose because we are not responsible for lost key and your going to pay for a new one!, i told her i did not mean to forget my key and she started talking to another hispanic cleaning lady that i was a typical old forgetful person and this is what she has to deal with. I told i am sorry you dont comprehend my reason or care that i am sick. I asked for her name and she got further upset - i dont have to give anything. I said thats okay im walking out as i stumbled with my cain out. So immature poor service as we with this lady.

It is ridiculous that the post office hours for a rural area is only open one hour on Saturdays. Most people can't make it because of where they live. It is a rural area.
