This is the absolute worst facility. Mail Sent Certified 1st Class Jun 7. Arrived at Corppell, Jun 10, and as of July 15, no delivery. Submitted Several request and phone calls for tracking, including a Missing Mail search, and no response. Will send some other means next time. Terrible customer services!
I’ve called this location 25 times in the span of 3 hours and nobody picked up. My package said it was delivered in my parcel locker and nothing is there. Extremely disappointed. I’ve also called a different number and have a case number opened now. They still haven’t contacted me.
The mail person who delivers mail to my address has been delivering all of my not so important mail to my new address since I moved to a different apartment. But all of my very important mail, the mail person has been putting it in my old mailbox. I'm a veteran of the U.S army and all of my Department of Veteran Affairs mail has been going to my old mailbox even though my yellow change of address form is attached. This makes me wonder if my mail person hates veterans and purposely displace my mail. I'm very upset this has been happening lately. I live at 1717 E Belt Line Rd St. Marin apartments on Belt Line Rd. I sure need the post master to get involved asap to deal with this employee.
I mailed an international package on 2/25 going to Hong Kong. Paid a LOT of money for insurance and shipping. It's now 3/18 and still shows it's sitting IN Coppell and it arrived there the same day I shipped it. WTF is going on? My customer is getting annoyed and I am 150% NEVER going to use USPS again for anything important!! Don't you have to file a claim within 30 days to get money back? It's getting really close to that, and I will be one unhappy camper if I have to fight for this. This is ridiculous. Somebody needs to do something here!
We had two shipments of live animals (baby chicks) that were not properly handled resulting in about 50% dead at time of arrival. I'm not sure what's going on as this has never happened before with any other post office. We are not the only ones this has happened to. I'm disappointed that other post offices have no delivery issues but Coppell does. Please train your staff on the handling of live animals.
My street is under construction. It is one lane, one way. Our mail boxes are at the end of the street. If my carrier can't fit a package in the box, it won't be delivered. I just get a card that says "street blocked". I have to go to the post office to get my package. Its happened twice now in the last week. BS. Everyone, including FedEx, UPS, Amazon and even the pizza guy delivers here. Somehow the USPS can't quite seem to make it even though the carrier drives right past my house to get to the mail boxes. In fact, I saw him going the wrong way on the one way street yesterday.
I recently moved to Coppell from Flower Mound. I recently had a package that was misdelivered, but I went to the Coppell PO and spoke to the Supervisor there, Iesha. I cannot say enough good things about her and her help. She took care of my issue within hours dispatching another driver to ensure my package was found and delivered. I've been to too many post offices that don't care. The Coppell PO and especially Iesha truly do care and I can't say enough good things about her. She was truly a great help and everyone there was so professional and courteous. Something I've rarely seen in a PO. I'm very happy with their service...truly amazing!
In March 23, 2020, I submitted a care package from Texas to my son in Nevada. I paid for certified mail with a return receipt/green card proof of delivery. It was never delivered and after 10 hours of my personal time researching and countless phone calls, I received the package back, on my front porch, 4 months later. I tried to get the money I spent for the package refunded and it wasn't until today, February 5, 2020 after contacting Consumer Affairs that my issue was resolved. I appreciate Rickie's hard work for resolving my issue. Also, my thanks to Manager-Vanessa for hiring such a competent staff member at USPS.
As with all of the others have been waiting for my mail. It was supposed to be at my house 1/16/21. Not only sitting at this facility for several days it has been sent to the Dallas location then back to Coppell ,to Palestine and now for dread sakes it's back in Coppell . What does not make any since is its well known that there are issues with this location and nothing is being done about it . This place even has complaints and reports with the BBB . Just like everyone else, I mailed a letter Priority Mail on Dec 26th, it sat in Tampa for 3 days, made its way to Texas and has been in Coppell since early Jan 2nd with no movement. Called Coppell and was on hold for 13 mins, no answer. Called Consumer Affairs, no answer. What the heck is going on with Coppell Distribution Center? Is anyone there besides the lady that answers the phone and just puts you on hold?
Sent a cashiers check priority Dec. 14 from Louisville KY has been sitting in Coppell TX since Dec 21. This is unacceptable and they wonder why they are going under. Never again will I use this service to mail anything important.

Ordered a canvas through Etsy, packaged was accepted at Grand Prairie TX and then shipped off to Coppell TX, arrived 12/14 and hasn’t moved since only to say on 12/18 in transit, arriving late. I bought this for a Christmas present for a dear friend whose dad passed away. So disappointed with the manner things are being handled.
Experiencing the same as all y'all! I ordered mine the end of Nov and was supposed to be delivered Dec 4th, reached Coppell on the 2nd and hasn't moved since. It's 4 days till Christmas. Both online and automated phone system reveal the same monotonous "In Transit" reply.
I shipped an Etsy order to a customer from Lubbock to Plano on December 2, 2020. It arrived at the USPS location in Coppell, TX on December 6. It is now December 20th and it is still in Coppell. What is the problem?
This Coppell Usps is the Bermuda Triangle.... I’ve had 2 of my packages sent from Grapevine to Coppell to disappear into the blackhole! Someone must be having a Merry Christmas at others expense 😡 It needs to be investigated and shutdown!
Mailed Priority to McKinney TX on Dec 10th, arrived Irving,TX Dec 11th 4:30pm...tracking shows it arrived in Coppell TX at 3:56am Dec 12th....it's now 3pm Dec 15th and the tracking shows it still in Coppell...no new scan at all. All it says is "your package will arrive later than expected". What's going on at the Coppell TX Distribution Center? Mailhandlers and Clerks in Kansas City are working overtime, some 12 hour days. Priority Mail isn't what it was in my days as a USPS employee....hope this package will be scanned in to McKinney....soon.
Had a vinyl record coming in from KY get stuck here on Nov. 17th. Sent in 2 "where's my mail" inquiry to no avail. Suddenly, on Dec. 10, the package tracking pings it in goddamn Saint Joseph, MO. If only there was a way to tell them to avoid this location in particular when shipping it back because idk where they'll slingshot my mail next. Now, I have to worry that the record isn't warped to hell or worse.

i ordered my Errol Spence merchandise on November 19th and it has been stuck at this USPS for over a week now with no updates. I cant even wear it for his fight and that is not good for his business all because this postal service cannot get it together. What a shame.

Package went from San Antonio, TX to Plano, TX. Stopped at Coppell Distribution Center and then sent on to Oklahoma. Plano is 30 minutes from Coppell. Can no one in the postal system do anything about this place? New manager, employees, new procedures. Never had problems like this until recently. And they want us to vote by mail. ha,
We have a serious problem in Coppell tx main sorting center mail is sitting there for up to two weeks not going out first class the worse .also no scanning I can't track my packages one been there Sept 9 till now still no way to track it this place is horrible
Please answer why so many important packages, especially those marked where someone sees that package might be desirable or expensive end up in the black hole in the Coppell TX Postal Service? Only get results when you complain to the sender?

I have a package that is "stuck" there for over a month. Tried to call the 1-800 number and not able to speak with anyone about it - just a general COVID-19 message. I get things are slow and I have waited and watched and it's not moving. It was picked up by USPS on June 10 - arrived at Post Office 30 mins later. The departed on July 3 ... but nothing. I know it takes awhile to get to where I am in MN ... but really? I'm getting impatient and upset at things not moving along. I might just call my local PO and see if they can do anything - but they will prob tell me what I can see on their tracking site. UGH!
My address was changed in January but I couldn't change it through the IRS as I have not yet done my 2019 taxes since my accountant has just started working again due to the covid-19 pandemic and my 2018 taxes have my old address, which is where my covid-19 relief went, but, since there is a "do not forward" order, guess where the check went (even though there is/was a valid forwarding address on file)? Now I have received an additional piece of mail from "The Post Office" instructing me on how to change my address (already done) to get my mail.🤔 Brilliant!
The package I ordered a few weeks ago is "lost" and another replacement package is now stuck there. I'd file a more formal complaint but I'm afraid they will not listen. So... please send my packages asap i need them.
I have had two packages sitting in this facility since May 6. They apparently departed the facility on May 10 and have been "in transit to the next facility" ever since. I called and opened a case on both of the packages and was basically told that if there's enough room on the truck they'll be shipped to the next facility, if not they will just sit there until there is room on a truck. I could have driven both packages from Arkansas to Louisiana in a single day and they've just been sitting somewhere in Dallas for a week.
My package was accepted at this PO on Dec 5 and is still sitting there as of today according to my tracking. I contacted the office on Thursday and Friday to see what the hold up is and the representative that I spoke with tells me that I cannot rely on the tracking and just because it says its there doesn't really mean that. REALLY??? I contacted the seller of the package and they informed me that they spoke to a representative there as well and that they had the package in the warehouse and is waiting for the package to be released. Please tell me why it takes soooo long to release a package. I understand that this is a busy time of year but to hold a package for 11 days is CRAZY!!! Is there anyway I can report this problem to the Corporate office with having to call ASK USPS and have to wait 38-42 mins to speak to a representative? I would like to get my package before Christmas!!!

This is the second time a package has been lost or misplaced in your facility. As a result, the sender has had to double ship an order for us for meds for our animals, which has delayed them getting treated. Please figure out a way to keep better track of the packages that are delivered to ya'll by UPS. The tracking always stops at your door!
I've been expecting a package several days. Sender is Miami Florida. It took 1 1/2 days to get to Dallas p.o.. Dallas sent it to you by mistake. You sent it back to dallas. Dallas then sent it back to you. Then you sent it back to dallas. Dallas said now they sent it back to you! But I live mckinney tx 75069.

Our mail in Riverchase apartments is often not put in the correct mailbox. I have gotten mail addressed to a different apartment more than once, and not received my own mail I don't even know how many times.
Sent certified mail return receipt from Oregon coast on 2/6 arrives at Coppell tx 2/8 shows delayed in transit 2/11 to Allen Tx 30 miles away still not there 2/14 . Letter can travel a couple of thousand miles in 48 hrs from Oregon but cannot go 30 miles in Texas .It is still in holding pattern 7 days. I question whether letter is in transit ,remember only going 30 miles. Or is it sitting at post office . Is that ok to say in transit when sitting at facility isn’t that gross negligence and unethical behavior on the part of Postal Service. Maybe there needs to be an audit by postal officials ,as this is an ongoing issue for those who send mail thru Coppell regularly see all the complaints. Thank goodness this is my first and hopefully last experience with this facility.
Was in the same boat. Had a tracking on a package say acceptance pending since the 10 of jan. so that has been 12 days. I called the consumer something another at 972-393-6755. talked to a great lady who checked on it and said that sometimes ups will drop ship them to the local post office and bypass them. in other words it was lost, but she said she would keep an eye out for movement and contact me. Suggested that I contact the seller, I did. The seller is 2 day shipping a replacement order to me. Hope you get it solved and maybe this can help some

I sent a Cert. Return Receipt letter to my Mortagae company in FT WORTH. YES FT Worth. It's now somewhere in COPPELL TX! I'm waiting on the phone for 50 minutes.
Another reason the government needs to get out of a business......not impressed. Small package sent from Colorado Oct 3....goes to TX.....back to Denver....sitting in Coppell, TX for last 3-4 days. Send the package or pay a fee.

Some woman answered the phone with a thick Mexican accent, which was barely understandable. I said I was looking for mail that was showing at their office. She cut me off saying, hold on. Put me on hold and never came back on the line.
This is my mortgage payment from last month and it is still sitting in Coppell for 22 days without sending it on.
HORRRIBLE! The guys that answer the phone put the call on hold and never pick back up!!!! 12 times in 2 days!!!! One guy finally told me to stop calling because he is busy!!! THEN WHY EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE??? MY PACKAGE HAS BEEN LOST AT THIS POST OFFICE FOR #3MONTHS!!!!!!
The old man that stands at the door to pick up held mail is a very rude person! He first threatened to not give me my mail because I didn't have my held mail card even though I had the confirmation number saying When my mail was to be sent again. Then he threw mail in my face after arguing with me about it not being there! He's such a terrible grumpy old man that should not be working with people because he is very offensive!
I ship live chicks and am about to give it up. I pay for priority express 2 day and all chicks arrive on the 3rd and sometimes 4th day. They sit in the Coppell facility sometimes for 24 hrs. Chicks are usually dead when they arrive to the purchaser.
Thanks for holding my Priority package for 5 days after I payed 60 dollars for 3 day shipping. I know USPS is going down, but ripping off your customers is not the way to make money. Never using USPS for any shipping as this is NOT the first time we have paid extra money for priority for packages to arrive weeks later. It is not just this facility either, the package still hasn't arrived at its destination. It was sent out 4/31/15 from Waco Tx... destination Reliance, Wyoming. Right now it is on its second day after departing Denver 1:30 5/6/15 and no one can figure out where it is after being told yesterday it should of been received today. :-( Very disappointed! This is poor service USPS! Just do away with Priority mail, its not right that you can take peoples money if you don't even try to get deliver it within the 3 days. 5 day hold over is inexcusable!!! On top of that you want me to pay more to give me the guarantee of a refund when it is your fault that you couldn't get my package out of your facility really? You are basically scamming people out of their own money! Nice Job! This is why your losing business!
I used to ship packages out First Class and they would arrive in about 3 days. Lately,I've been having several packages a day sit in the Coppell sorting facility for several days and my First Class Packages are now taking 7-15 days. Why does the Fort Worth sorting facility take much less time?
