I’ve lived out at the lake for 13 years and in 13 years not one time have they ever knocked on my door to let me sign for certified mail, or anything else that requires a signature. I can be standing in the yard and she will put an unable to deliver yellow notice in my box for me to pick up at the post office. It’s beyond infuriating! My door is literally 10 feet from the mailbox. I’m disabled I’m always home and there is no reason for someone to be that lazy. I delivered air freight for 15 years and I made every effort to get my deliveries off.

I am maddened beyond belief with our mail delivery person. Our old mail box fell over so I made a makeshift one. It wasn't the right hight so she left me a note. I fixed that problem only to receive another note the next week that we needed to replace it and that she wouldn't be able to deliver mail until then. I explained that one was on order. We had the new one installed and were working on getting our name and number added, but we have been sick the last two weeks. A few days ago to my dismay I noticed our house number written on our brand new stylish $400 mailbox with Sharpie. How dare she do that? I am absolutely disgusted that someone would think that it would be ok to deface some one else's property. There was no notice given that there was an issue with the number not being on there. Which by the way doesn't matter since we received mail today from our neighbor that doesn't even match the number she scribbled on our box. I will be speaking to someone soon when I can get a day off during the week.
