Village lane mail carrier is rude and very disrespectful and so is the staff at baker Rd post office and did nothing about a carrier who refused to walk up stairs to brin me my mail and told me to come down and get it
Package has with tracking has not been missing for over a month. Postoffice says to check online. After filling out every online form imaginable, still haven't heard a word. Don't come here looking for help, you may not like what you find.
The self service kiosk is down and no one can mail there? So how long does the kiosk stay down and how come it isnt listed as being down. I have tried different times to mail and have to drive over there only to find out it isnt working.
I would like to know if they hire people here based on how rude they can be. It doesn’t make any sense. I had an appointment for the passport for my niece and she is special needs. I try to tell the lady in the blue door and she was rude as hell and closed the door on my face. I truly despise this location.
A package was thrown at my front door! I caught the delivery on Ring! This is absolutely ridiculous! You're that lazy you couldn't set it down!?! Sending your video to all platforms and to your corporate office, since the local post office won't answer the phones!
Mailbox has been laying down on the ground bottom rusted out I have placed a mail box in front of residence and some Mail delivered by one Mail man but the others that deliver same route do not deliver to my mail box???
A package with an electronic item was delivered and left in the rain on the driveway when the covered porch was just a few feet away! No effort to ring the doorbell. I have camera footage showing all of this.
Our postal carrier has left electronic devices in the rain. We have a 525 square foot covered area less than five feet from where the carrier left the package in the middle of the driveway where it could be run over and rained on. The package was intentionally left in the rain.
Mailed 7 checks on July 20, 2020 and all of them got "lost in the mail". None of the checks went through and we had to stop payment on all 7 plus call each one of the creditors and explain to them that the checks got lost in the mail. The stop payment fees was around 30 each so it cost us dearly to stop payment on all those checks. When I tried to call the post office to tell them about the lost mail I was unable to get through to a human - only voicemail which did not apply to the situation. I can't find out if the mailbox was vandalized or the mail stolen, which is what I think happened. The police need to know about this. I will not be paying my bills via the mail anymore.
#1) Left my packages at the wrong address(1 mile down the road). When I reported it to the office, the lady says: well aren't y'all all family down there? So, so disrespectful so it's not just the carriers. #2) My neighbor flagged me down yesterday to tell me that I had a package at the post office that they were returning today because I had never gone to pick up. Well, if the carrier would have left a delivery attempt notice, I would have. Where does the postal service find these top notch employees? #3) leaving my mail in someone else's mailbox. It's just neverending with these people! I hate to see what it's like 10 years from now.
This is the second time a package said it was delivered in my mailbox and was not there. I don’t know if the carrier is taking it to the wrong street, same number or what, but I do not want packages left in my mailbox, because I don’t get them! Today’s package 5/25, I was outside when I received email saying it was delivered. I never say a truck or carrier...
Well the comments I've read on this thread are all true for me as well ....
1. The mailman/woman that comes to where I live are singing out loud at the top of there lungs and ear buds in their ears talking on the phone which is very unprofessional. Obviously not paying attention to what there delivering.
2. How difficult is it to read numbers & words and keep getting your neighbors mail???
My bad experience, is when receiving packages that require a signature, the package was sent for redelivery but only got mail with no note that it was attempted again. Only to find out after I spoke to local USPS off of Market Street to speak too a B-Venita at the Baker office only to be put hold for over an hour, hung up the call tried from 4 different numbers to call back and all calls were a busy signal.
Honestly this ridiculous I've lost faith in our mail system at both locations here in town this wasn't the case 5-10 years ago. It all stems from the leadership at the top. I think I speak for the majority here. The majority of postal workers (from what I've seen) need to be cut loose and/or monitored, retrained. I'm considering paying for PO box just so I won't face this bs of mail and packages being lost or sent to wrong address.
The left hand doesn't know what the right one is doing. Or where it is located. No package after online redeliver set up. Even with a confirmation number, no one knows anything and the website is of no help. Nor the phone assist. How hard is it to deliver one little package?
The people who deliver for this post office are unbelievable. I live in an apt. complex and they have no idea what the numbers on the letters are and don't bother to read them or deliver to the correct boxes. Just how intelligent do you have to be to match the correct address to the correct box and then put the mail in the CORRECT box!
I placed my bag of grocery by the mailbox which sits by curb Saturday. No one picked it up did they Chang the date? It was placed in the morning early and my mail is delivered in the afternoon.
