Horrible post office. They don’t answer phone and alway putting mail in wrong box. I mailed a package to my sister in Bandera and it was delivered to the wrong person and of course it wasn’t returned to office. The girl who puts mail in boxes is inefficient she needs to be reported. Of course you can’t call and report it because again they don’t answer the phone. I can’t go to post office because I live in another state.

They gave my package to someone else, even though I had the paper notice they left. Tried calling to figure out how this happened but they never answered the phone. Terrible customer service.

The PO in Bandera, Texas is the worst post office in the US. It has to be. These people are rude and we never receive our packages. I am not sure how this PO is even still open!! This PO is an embarrassment to any US postal service. Whoever is overseeing and running this PO needs to be fired.

This post office does not deliver parcels. Today they did not deliver a parcel and put a hold on it at the post office even when it would fit in the mailbox. When I called to ask them about it the phone continued to ring over and over without an answer.

For the past 10 years my children have gone to church camp at Camp Sionito, and we have always sent a care package that they receive mid week. I did the same this year, mailed from our local PO in Helotes, which should have been delivered Thur. Her pkg never came. I tracked pkg and found it being held at the Bandera PO for pickup.. (told carriers don’t have to deliver if more than1/2me from road… Though deliveries have been made to this camp as long as I can remember.. my 73 yr old mother attended this camp) Spent 2hours trying to call though the phone never answered. Went back to Helotes PO, they attempted calling too.. No answer. The msg on Bandera PO provides business hours of Sat8-10 so I planned to pick up her pkg Sat am when she is picked up as camp is now over, but when I check their website I see closed on Sat… Guess my kid gets no camp package this year.. And it cost me $10 to send a package that she doesn’t receive… Thanks Bandera Post Office…

I sent a change of address notice on May 1 to be activated June 1. I received a confirmation at my new address in San Antonio. I am still receiving mail at my Bandera address. I have called numerous times this morning yet no one answers the phone. So glad to leave this postal service location. Sixteen years of blunders is quite enough.

Have been using this facility for over 20 years. Have never had a problem except for torn magazine covers ,but that is because of my small box.. Very friendly Staff.

Worst post office EVER. EVERY time my wife has to visit the post office I come home to the same old story. Rude employees who are unwilling to help in any manner. God forbid someone has a question about procedure in that place. The story always ends with another embarrassed customer having to help her since she is carrying our newborn and a package and a diaper bag. It amazes me that we pay these people salaries in the form of our tax dollars AND as customers and this is how we are treated. Its no wonder the PO is bankrupt. What a joke....

Going in and out of the post office hardly requires the need to bring in a diaper bag. Some people just don't get it.
