We keep receiving packages from a sender listed as
Fulfillment Center. I am sure you are aware this is a fraudulent company. They are sending product that was not ordered and they are billing our account. I would like to speak with the Postmaster.
I'm from Houston, Texas and I have fraud inquiry underway concerning Smyrna postal address. I attempted to call for over three hours roughly 45 minutes of ringing with no answer. fax is disconnected. how does one talk to a postal employee there. obviously they are not concerned about those who can't walk in. this is USPS at it's finest?????
My package was sent to Smyrna USPS, then to Nashville and back to Smyrna again. It has been in Smyrna since Jan.15 and still has not been delivered (as of Jan. 24) to my post office in Williamsport. This package is medically needed and like other respondents, getting someone to answer the phone is impossible. Worst PO ever!

Well, I can see that I am NOT the only one whose packages get hung up here! Can't figure out WHY they are routed to this place...but I submitted a complaint to the Postal Inspector and I advise you to do the same. The more people complain, the quicker it will be investigated. Just go to USPS website and under Help is how you can file your complaint. THIS needs to Change!
I'd leave an elaborate review about a mishandled package, but observing the last 6 years and 50+ reviews on this page it's probably just beating a dead horse at this point.
I hope they can get things fixed and turned around, but that seems very unlikely judging from the past 6 year track record lol
My husband filled out a form online to stop our mail on August 5 and to resume on August 16. He indicated on the form that he would come pick up the mail today. When he got there, there wasn't a piece of mail to be found. The clerk said the only thing she could think of was that the carrier picked it all up to deliver to our house instead of doing what we had asked for. She tried to call the carrier but could not reach him/her. I have tried to call the post office to talk to the Postmaster and, as usual, no one answers the phone. This is not the first time we have had difficulty with mail delivery while we are out of town but this is "straw that has broken the camel's back". I don't know who reads this, but if there is any way possible, I would like for the Postmaster - not a supervisor- to call me. If whoever reads this can let me know who I can give my number to so that can happen, please let me know. I would also like the name and contact information of the person the Postmaster reports to. Thanks.
What’s the deal? I’ve had a package sitting in Smyrna for 10 days sent UPS. Cannot even talk to a person at UPS. This is the fourth time this year my packages sit for days on days after being assigned to USPS

I have been tracking a package that I am expecting it it has been according to the tracking label sitting at the Smyrna post office for six days now. This is happened to me multiple times and the service is absolutely horrendous.
I have a package with last tracking location being Smyrna TN on December 7th 2020. No movement since. This does look like dead spot for USPS. Looks like I am not the only one. Might be a good place for a postal inspector to take a look around.

My package that was ordered Dec. 11, has been sitting in Smyrna since the 17th, stating it is being switched from UPS to USPS but with no update almost 2 weeks later. I looked up tracking details and saw that my package actually passed through a post office of where I live, days ago. And is now 4 hours away from me. For weeks. Wah.
I my order has been stuck in Smyrna, Tn sence the 16th suposed to be deliverd on the 17th. Still sitting there on 24th of dec. One less present under the tree. And cant get ahold of anyone. HIGHLY PISSED OF @!
I ordered my package Dec 7th. UPS. WHY was my package transferred from UPS to USPS in KNOXVILLE, 10 minutes from me, to YOU back on December 12th and it has yet to move? "No other information available" is what has come up every time I put in my tracking number.
I know it's the holidays and we're in a pandemic, but this is the ONLY package that THIS has happened to. And I see below I'm not the only one!

I have two packages that have been transferred from UPS to your facility. Neither one has moved since it got to Smyrna, TN. One package was shipped on Nov 29th. Is your facility completely overrun and will not be able to process the volume of packages by Christmas? I've tried to call but no answer. So many people in my area have packages lost at your location. I understand most Post Offices were not prepared for the volume of packages. I'm just trying to get my package or request a refund from the company. Please advise.

Waited 3 weeks for a new key. Finally get the key and the lock on it is broke and barely opens. And now for some reason someone has put a vacant letter in it causing us to miss important military document! Smh do better!

I live at 201 Pembrook Lane, Smyrna Tn 37167. I went to my mailbox this morning, there was a balloon in my mailbox, I had to struggle to get it out and it burst and threw stuff on me. I went quickly in and washed it off and called the Smyrna Tennessee police. They came and said probably a prank. I am still concerned for my safety and the safety of my mailman. There has been an increasing number of times that people on Rimrock Rd are getting their neighbors mail. Sometimes I have to wonder if my neighbor doesn't bring it to me if I am missing a few important letters. Can we have someone look into this?
The person running this place should be fired immediately !!!!!! They have the most disrespectful employees that I have ever seen anywhere and have yet to meet one person there who cares at all about their customers or honestly seems capable of doing their job it’s absolutely Ridiculous to get paid a starting wage of over 50k a year to shit on customers. I’m sitting in my office right now with 15 other ppl I get an alert on my phone from amazon saying once again that my packages were undeliverable because the business was closed haha well we’re here and are open 24/7 we only close the doors twice a year. This happens to every single Saturday delivery that we have. they never even pass the building it’s almost like the man or woman on this route spends their day at home on Saturday instead of working. I have spoke with the supervisor many times over the last two years about this ensures me that he’s going to handle it and that this will never happen again obviously not. Can’t wait until this whole USPS thing collapses and all of the employees have to go get real jobs where they actually have to show up to work and aren’t over paid. Funny usp and fedex both have never been later or missed a delivery. And to make it all even worse I have called the local office 107 times today without them even thinking about answering then taking the phone off the hook such professionals.

I live 2 years on my address and there were many miss delivers in my box. I get mail from my neighbors and other people and my neighbors mail ends up in my box. I have copies and proof of that and reported that on several occasions but we still have the same carrier and she speeds through our neighborhood. I reported that but nothing was done again. When I called Post office I usually call them several days on the row before they answer and when I asked why don't they answer the phone they said they are busy. So am I on my job but I still answer the phone within the reasonable time.
Yesterda'y I went to track my International package to Europe. I went to speak to "so call Supervisor ", I believe his name is Randel. He showed me the peace of paper where package reportedly went to Jamaica and that was the dead end. I asked him why would my package go to Jamaica and he snatched that tracking paper from my hands. I asked him to give me the paper back so I can compare the number with my receipt if this was correct number. He put it behind his back holding the paper and would not give to me or read it. He stated: " This is governmental property". I replied: " Great, but I paid for the package and have a right to know where it went or stopped". I attempted to reason with him, he told me to call the 800 # on my receipt and shut the upper side of the French door in my face. I rang the door bell on the side and he disconected it. I actually had to call the Police to document that incident. Police came and went to talk to him and he told the Policeman that he was going to give me that number but I left. Which was a lie, I was still standing and talking to the Police officer. He was rude, unprofessional and inappropriate.
Wonder, what will happened the next time I go there.
I am so disappointed and sad that people like that are allowed to get away with treating other people that way. We are keeping them in the job, they are Civil service employees. What a Civil Customer Service. This is the worst Post office I ever knew in my life.

I have not file a moving notification but I did have a roommate move in and she file a change of address for form from her old address to my address. The mailman stopped leaving my mail and returned to the post office. How can I get my mail?

I have a package that left Nashville, TN 7 days ago and is still in transit to Smyrna, TN. It is a broken phone that has to be returned to my insurance company and if they don't get it back they charge me 300 dollars. I called the 800 number today and had to wait on hold for 40 minutes to get crappy service telling me all they could do is email that local unit manager to see if they can find the package and I would be a call back in 3 business days! Well that's to late I am going to end up with a 300 dollar charge! This is ridiculous!
Today 01/07/2017. The post office drive crash the car with my mail post and broke everything, he told me that a supervisor will come in ONE hour to take a pic and talk to me. After almost 3 hours of waiting No ONE come to see the Damages. I put a new Mail like 10 months ago that I bought on lowes. Now I don't know what to do, but I hope someone contact me in the next few hours.

Can not get a hold of post office and they sent my driver's license back to DMV for absolutely no reason, my address from the DMV is correct on the mail, it has been updated with homeland security and USPS. I haven't had my hard copy of my license for a year now, this happened twice in Nashville and once again since living in Smyrna. I desperately need this as it is my form of ID and I can't get anything without it, including issues with getting medical help, and I can't go out with friends or have wine with dinner or drive without feeling like I'm breaking the law or anything so please get it together. I'm reaching my breaking point I feel like giving up and becoming a shut in. :(
My package I sent from Texas 9/13 was supposed to be delivered to recipient 9/15. It is now 9/19, no updates or signs of my package . I've called and it keeps ringing with no answer. I don't have time to play cat and mouse chase. I've called USPS at the number on my receipt, was advise they would try to track it and call me back. Well that was 9 hours ago. Looks like this isn't the first time any packages have gone missing from the reviews . Sad that unethical people are working for our government . Hope whoever intercepted it I'm sure you enjoyed my bomb beef jerky. And that it caused you some stomach pain for days SMH!
The most unprofessional postal service workers, EVER. Incapable of delivering any package (time and again, they keep returning them to sender ... somehow every OTHER private shipping vendor can handle all of our deliveries just fine, except for the Smyrna "USPS"). Your TAX DOLLARS turned SINECURE (paid federal vacation with benefits) by these lazy, unprofessional, misfits. Do not use USPS for anything if living/working in Smyrna. They need to be INVESTIGATED, REPLACED and held to some STANDARD.
By far the worst postal service in TN!! I had yet another package gone missing ( prob delivered to the wrong address) in which whomever kept the product and now it's no longer available!!! This is not the first time either!! I get sometimes mistakes happen but not 5 times in the past 1 1/2!! One being very important documents that involve my license for my career!! I had to send double the money just to make sure of my renewal and wait 6 months to get my money back!!! There excuse , " new mail carrier "! Well that new mail carrier cost me a lot of time and money!! And I requested the envelopes back , each post dated one month apart but they received them the same day!!! This happened as well with my electric bill had to pay it twice and got a credit with my electric company!!! Who wants that??? Some one has to be held accountable!! I have since then stopped using the postal system for bills!!! It's absolutely ridiculous!!! Now in the process to turn them in to higher authority!! Simply pathetic!!!

I had a postal carrier leave a package on TOP of my mailbox today! Anyone could have come by and stolen it, it was a gift for my mother. We get over sized packages all the time and they leave it by the door, but today someone was too lazy to get out of the truck. Thankfully my husband went home at lunch and found it, so wasn't there all day. I called the post office and they were like "oh well sorry", they really didn't give a crap. So I have contacted the main office and have put in a complaint (have family who works at the post office who gave me contact info). It may not go anywhere, but I want someone other than whomever answers the phone at the smyrna office to know how lazy their carriers are. And if this package had gotten stolen I know that the post office would not have accepted it was their responsibility.
Update, received a very nice call within 30 minutes after my email request and was assured this would not happen again, the gentleman couldn't have been nicer. I really appreciate the quick response and didn't want to get the carrier in trouble, but do not want that happening again to me or anyone else. We have issues with stolen mail all the time, and this would be a big reason why if this was happening a lot. Very satisfied with the quick response and am hopeful this is taken care of.

Great, because I had my mail forwarded from Smyrna to LaVergne, have a package that should be delivered and LaVergne tracked it to Kansas City. WTF?
This post office lacks courtesy when they have delivery issues. They have lost several of my packages due to delivering to another address. Not once but three times. You get hung up on when you "raise your voice" as they call it however I have high ceilings so it sounds louder. I have never spoken to more unprofessional mail persons in my life. I would call back and then again get hung up on, refused to be given the Post Master Generals phone number as well.
