Hey you all. New carrier on my route? They laid the mail on a chair on front porch instead of putting thru mail slot in door. I am out of town a lot. Please ask carrier to put thru the mail slot. Thankful for carriers but wind will blow it away if I'm not home. Thanks so much. Jan Goble

I mailed a change of address form on March 31 at the 37917 post office. I have YET to receive ANY of my "forwarded mail" since said "move." Please gather any (and all mail received) and I will be by to pick it up tomorrow. (April 14th.) Thank you

I am in the 37917 zip code. My mail delivery for the past 2 month has been chaos. If we get our mail it is delivered between 11:00 to after 5. We close at 5 so the mail is left in mail box all night. Monday and Friday we don't even get our mail and they do not pick it up.

I never go to this post office but they "deliver" my mail. I've been in business and have dealt with the USPS for 45 years with very few problems. Just moved our business to 37917 a couple years ago and it would take me a full day to describe to you the total chaos that is the USPS mail delivery west of North Central Ave in Knoxville, TN. The mail shows up here anywhere from 10 AM to 5 PM. Some of it is ours, some belongs to other folks in the neighborhood. We all just call one another when carrier leaves mail or packages at the wrong place and it happens very frequently. One guy that is supposedly our regular carrier shows up always talking on the phone, nice guy, totally inept, leaves some mail, 5 minutes later comes back with some more, sometimes even the third time he comes back with even more. His supervisor sometimes brings mail or packages here that the guy has left at the post office or at someone else's place. I complain to the supervisor and he just keeps on going. Truly unbelievable!!!!

Went to the post office just now and dealt with 3 absolute rude men. I got to the post office at 4:59z And they refused to help me because they said they were closed. This location is confusing even trying to get into the entrance. I cannot believe how unwilling they were to help someone. Even after explaining that I was not from the area and drove 15 min just to get to the nearest postal office. After reading other reviews Its sad to know that I am not the only one that the staff has been rude to! Management should take a second look at who they have hired.

The phone is constantly busy, and if by some miracle it actually rings chances are they will not pick up. Trying to track down a lost package for the last few days has been a nightmare. If you need ANYTHING resolved from them you better be prepared to camp out in the post office for a week to hassle them until they help you. The management is absolutely terrible and that basically hamstrings any post office employee attempting anything close to customer service. Not to mention walking in here feels like entering a horror movie set. Dirty walls, flickering lights, and a look of dead-eyed defeat on the faces of everyone in there. To be fair, I think the employees are doing their best, but like I said the management is just awful. Do not use this location if you can help it!

This has to be the worst postal location in town. I love my carrier but the office staff are terribly rude.We mail tons of pigs for work and for family and make use of the service at home where we weigh it and print out the label. Today when I went to the post office with such a pkg I only saw one clerk and waited to get direction where to put the pkg. Instead I ended up waiting in line a very long time while a lady in front of me described her medical issues. When I realized that the conversation was no longer businesses I waved and pointed to the label on my box. He glanced at me but did not make eye contact. The discussion at the counter continued. I went to the other window hoping there was another staff member. Finally the lady got to the mail system for those with hip surgery and he turned and went to the back. I was hoping he would point me to a spot on the counter or put his hand out for my box. He didn't so I said excuse me but he disappeared to the back. When he returned I continued to wait while they talked about tubs totes and how long hip surgery tasks to recover. Finally she left and when I got to the counter rather than taking my box he very rudely revoked me for trying to interrupt him while he was with another customer. I was so embarrassed and when I relied that I could see that I busted needed to know where a pre paid pkg went he continued to tell me that he wasn't ignoring me but couldn't I see that he was with a customer and spoke loudly like I was a spoiled child not a paying customer. Then while I tried to ask where this type of pkg goes he walked away and never even answered my question. I can't be rude to my customers at work and if the point of paying for it at home means you have to stand in line anyway what is the point?
