living in Karns my entire life we have recently discovered our old post delivery person has retired and we have a new person delivery person and this person is NOT delivering my mail. I have had several people who live near me bringing my mail to me. I was instructed to go to the cedar bluff office. I told the post master the issue, he decided to tell me he couldn't do anything about it. I am getting informed delivery stating I have mail. However nothing is being delivered. I need this issue resolved please contact me at 865-694-2068. 3809 Proffitt Lane, Knoxville, TN. 37931

After 3 visits to the Cedar Bluff post office over several weeks to pick up a package, the clerk told me, my package was lost. I should contact the company and let them know because the post office lost it but were not responsible. I did this and the company was kind enough to replace the package. Now the old package was delivered today! This is extremely poor service. I have no confidence or trust in the service provided by this post office.

I have attempted to make several calls to the Cedar Bluff post office in Knoxville Tennessee due to a air in charges. Instead of $12.54 being taken out of my banking account they took out $112.54. Please contact me at my email address so we can get this problem resolved. Thank you very much.

Mail carrier takes their dinner break (?) parked near my property which is not the issue.... From discarded cigarette butts thrown on the street every evening to now finding damaged and discarded mail that don't even belong to anyone in this neighborhood IS the issue!!! ..... Tired of picking up after the disrespectful post office.....

The driver who delivers to this apartment signs for packages and leaves key tags without checking to see if the key is attached. Good job leaving lipo batteries that needed to be signed for in a locked box with no key. Pretty irresponsible.

Thursday my tracking said items was delivered. It was photos and labeled as so “photos do not bend” I go to my mailbox and they are on the ground while there was mail inside the mail box. I am extremely disappointed because they were all of a dog I recent had passed away. I would like an explanation. I’m afraid to even open them due to it being left in damp grass beside my mailbox

Had a package sent Priority Express with insurance on 3/17/2021 from Colorado to Knoxville Tn USPSTracking showed it was "accepted" and processed thru Denver USPS distribution center the following day and " in transit" to its destination. For 5 days no tracking updates which I can deal with even though someone clearly isn't doing their job of scanning incoming & outgoing mail coming thru a distribution hub. Finally a tracking update my package had bounced thru the different hubs & sort facilities before reaching its final destination of CEDAR BLUFF post office prior to being delivered. Not concerned that my package was late & just happy it got here I expected delivery within 2 days max after arriving at the post office. When I checked tracking again after 3days my package was suddenly at the post office in Cedar Minnesota. It's been 17days now & still sitting at the post office in Minnesota. I reached out to the Knoxville (cedar bluff) post office as well as the usps 1800 number & opened a missing package search thinking problem solved... boy was I wrong. I got an alert on my package tracking app saying usps opened a research case on my package & then closed it 11hours later followed by a email saying my case had been resolved & was now closed. My email back to usps has gone unanswered, I sat on the phone on hold for 45min then got hung up on & again for 1hr15min before finally talking to a person who basically said someone would call me back from usps consumer affairs dept. In a effort to make things easier I asked if I could just have the package redirected back to Knoxville for for delivery & even went so far as to ask for a package intercept & have package sent back to Knoxville & I'd pay the package intercept fees. The person on the phone told me flat out NO on both because the decision on what to do with my package was up to Cedar Minnesota post office. WTF?!??! So once again I'll be making a trip to the Knoxville post office where I'll waste most of my day jumping through hoops hoping to get an answer. USPS needs to correct the staffing issues, fire the rude & inconsiderate employees or close that place down.

Cedar bluff has a bearded clerk that is very rude to customer's, he is confrontational. He is one to cause an issue from the way he treats customers, he needs removing .

The Cedar Bluff office in Knoxville, TN refuses to answer their phone. We’ve had an issue for two weeks with our mail not being forwarding to our temporary address. I’ve filed two complaints but never get a call back. Our mail continues to pile up. In desperation I called the main post office on Weisgarber. The man was extremely rude to me. I told him that Cedar Bluff doesn’t answer their phone. Before I could ask him if there might be another number he said “Well don’t call them” and hung up on me.

Yesterday a mail carrier arrived at my porch, rang the bell, had a package, and needed my signature. She did not wear a mask and during this exchange we were within feet of one another. I believe she was placing both of us at risk (and other patrons). Tried contacting by phone nearest PO, Cedar Bluff, to ask policy and express concern. Phone not answered. Also tried W. Knox. PO. no answer

I have had packages tossed onto my door (I have saved footage from multiple times) from my mail carrier. I have 2 packages that had broken items when they arrived at my door. I have tracking #’s, pictures and video footage of this. I would appreciate if the packages were treated with care and set down and not tossed. This is awful, if you are going to do a job put 100% into it or go home!

Horrible. The past weeks, all packages delivered have resulted in mail carriers driving all the way up our drive way; and it’s a long drive way. Scaring my wife outside @540pm, and driving around back. This is an invasion of privacy and completely not needed. They can walk it. Quit being lazy.

I received an order from Amazon. Looking at the order tracking, it said the order was delivered at 10:51 AM yesterday and that it was left inside my mailbox. When I got home, there was mail in my mailbox but nothing else. There was also no package on my front porch. I started asking my neighbors (next door) and found that the mail person had given them the package. The mail person did not say it was not for them and did not leave a message saying they had left the package with my neighbor. If not for the fact that I have good neighbors, this package would be gone. Also, the package, when I got it, was too large to fit into my mailbox. So why was -if they had to deliver it - it not kept at the post office for me to pickup or at the VERY LEAST a note left telling me where the package was left?

This is the worst post office ever. I put in a case for a package that was marked delivered but I did not receive. I received a call back from the Cedar Bluff office suggesting that I check for a parcel locker key in my mail box. I did this before I called them, and it's impossible to miss that. The call back number they gave me was their fax number, and they don't answer their phone number: 865-693-4751. Also any time I've been down to pick up a package, their package pick up window is never attended and ringing the bell doesn't get anyone to come to the package pick up window.

170508: Comment sent to Knox County Post Office on 5/8 via their internet comment setup. On 4/7/2017, I mailed my IRS State Tax to TN Dept. of Revenue, Andrew Jackson State Office Bldg., 500 Deaderick Street, Nashville, TN 37242 (post marked 18 Apr 2017 PM 5 T). On 5/6/2017, I received this mail back in my mailbox from a Knoxville PO driver. The mail had been opened exposing my wife's & my SS Nos., my check payment to the TN IRS, my bank account no., and phone no.. This envelop was partially re-closed with a small piece of tape with a short length of <1 inch wide that would allow anyone to open, access my data, and put back inside the envelope. What will your department or other PO departments do about my serious situation?

I drop packages off daily to the Cedar Bluff Post Office and the always friendly staff who are multi tasking and always take time to be nice and greet me with a smile! I'm very pleased with their service! I use this post office as my carrier picks up my first load of boxes around 1:30 and my team can package more up until 5:45 and this location has the longest hours allowing me to drop off at 6:25 most evenings. Thank You for the extended hours and helping me get my customer packages delivered faster! Your hours really help me have happier customers which really is the Reason my sales keep increasing! Thank You for the hard work!

I sent two pieces of mail from 37604 on Mar. 28. They were addressed to two different people at the same address in 37923. Both were certified mail, restricted delivery. Both were delivered Mar. 30. Both cards came back signed, but not by either of the persons to whom the letters were addressed. The post office at 37923 did not do what I paid for. I have made a complaint to the USPS about the facility and the carrier.

My name is Michelle Griffith . I'm currently living in Florida . My son still resides in my home in Knoxville. I seem to be having issues getting mail to him that I have paid for next day delivery and most recently priority mail 2 day delivery . As it is I can't get through to anyone at your office as it is always busy . I have traced my letter that I sent on Thursday and he should have received it Saturday. The recording states that it was processed this morning but yet once again it failed to be delivered . I want to know what the problem is . I'm going to my post office here in the morning since they seem to be able to reach you all as I can't to find out what the problem is and to demand a refund . I'm getting tired of having to go through this with the cedar bluff post office branch . I'm going to find out who I need to talk to , to resolve this ongoing issue . I want answers ! I can be reached at 865-274-0719 . Or my email is I expect some sort of response . My sons address is 2701 Byington Beaver Ridge Rd. 37931

"Through rain, sleet, snow or dark of night..." MY ASS!!! I have had important mail sitting in my mailbox for the past THREE DAYS waiting to be picked up by my postal carrier!!! The roads are clear of snow since Day 1 as I have been able to get out and go to the store without problem. I could understand a delay in pickup if I lived on an extremely rural route and the roads were treacherous; but I live IN THE CITY (Knoxville) and the roads are clear. Just additional evidence that our government is going downhill!

I paid to have a packaged shipped to me by UPS, and for some reason UPS handed it off to USPS. Then USPS, instead of delivering to my door like I paid for, "attempted" delivery claiming the box was too large for our apartment's package lockers. Considering our leasing office is open, and/or USPS has delivered , packages too large for the locker, directly to our door, I am extremely irritated. I now have to wait until Monday to pick up a package that was completely deliverable.

USPS tracking indicates that my package was delivered on 5-10-14 yet I still have not received the item. Found out the USPS carrier, erroneously scanned my package as being delivered when in fact it had not. I had just moved and my change of address was already in system. I was told by supervisor that it was sent to Jackson to so my new address would be shown and delivered in a matter of time.I waited 10 days and no package. I called the Post Office they said it was scanned out of Jackson the 15th of May and I should receive it any day! As of today, they cannot find my package, last record is showing it was at Weisgarber Rd and did not make it back to Cedar Bluff. I just received an enmail from the consumer that my package was returned. To top it off, the items I originally ordered is now unavailable!! I am not happy!! What in the world is going on with our Postal System???

Worst post office ever. There is always a huge line and the employees dont try to get in any kind of hurry. I think they enjoy taking their sweet time. I went in and there was one lady actually waiting in customers and the other lady was fooling around with something that could have waited until she helped the 10 people standing in line. Then when it was my turn i asked for a little bit of tape to seal the ends and she told me i had to buy a whole roll for almost $4. I had a very small box so it would have been stupid for me to purchase the tape. The lady was just rude. No wonder the post office is going under with the terrible customer service and the crazy long lines. Good luck if you have to use this post office and make sure you have a good 30 mins to an hour to stand there.

Why is the number provided always busy? I'm not getting my mail since I moved to this new address because they say the address isn't recognized. I filled out one of those vacant mailbox forms but they didn't even get it. I'm trying to get letters from Social security and they are very important but I can't even get in contact with these people. Very frustrating.
