I have been trying to get a package delivered to my house since last Thursday. It took 3 days for the PO to accept it and when the said it was out for delivery, they said that there was no access to my residence. We get packages here all the time, and do not have a problem with no access. We do have problems with carriers leaving packages out in the weather, even though we have a covered front porch. They dump them off at garage instead or try to stuff them in the mailbox and leave the flap open. I have been calling for several days, but no one will answer the phone.

Packages are being left out in the weather in my driveway. A few feet from the porch. Very lazy driver and he puts out mail everywhere. I live on University Drive

Blame the postal problems on Louis DeJoy, the appointed postmaster general. He's the responsible party for the bad service we're having.

Postal driver won't even get out of their vehicle to get a signature at the front door. Held at Post Office for 6 days. No improvement for the last 30 years.

I have a package that says it was delivered and it was not. I’ve tried calling multiple times to locate my package. I can’t get anyone to answer at all. I keep getting random peoples mail in my box. It’s probably what happened to my package.

I used to live in Columbia gardens apartments and one of the people over there called and said that I had packages on my front porch and she said they had the wrong address on it and I put in a change of address three times

I am so disassified with the Columbia post office. We have not been receiving our mail and the mail that we have sent out I called the companies and they still haven't received our paperwork which is very important. I don't know what is going on with the post office but the problem needs to be looked at and a solution needs to be resolved. I just want my mail. Pure and simple. Post office find a solution please.

Horribly dissatisfied. I'm surprised that USPS has not wiped the slate clean and started over with this particular office. The amount of late deliveries, lost mail, and lack of service is the usual for this office, but my most recent run in is the very last straw. I now go to the Spring Hill Post Office. We tried to mail out Christmas cards with the Columbia office. 5x7, handmade, less than a quarter inch thick. Non-rigid (card stock only), and 2.4 oz a piece total. My mother took them in to mail directly and they told her they were too rigid, too fat, and couldn't be mailed as a letter and had to be mailed as a parcel. THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE 5-7 DOLLARS A PIECE TO MAIL THESE 5X7 CHRISTMAS CARDS. Let that sink in. I called USPS directly, and the woman could not even begin to understand why they would say that, let alone try to charge for that and quoted me at around 1.50 per card at the most with the details I gave her. Finally, we went to Spring Hill. They put the card through a 1/4 slot to measure the width, it went fine. They classified it as non-rigid, weighed it as 3 oz, and non-machinable. It took $1.47 to send each card. The woman at the counter even hand entered each card for the "penny stamps" needed for each one. So, USPS direct and Spring Hill got the job done for the right price, but Columbia wanted to charge me 5-7 a piece according to THEIR RULES. I'm disgusted with you, Columbia Post Office. You treat people like garbage and your incompetence is legendary. None of you have interest in doing right by your customers or treating people with even the slightest bit of kindness or fairness. You're crooks, liars, and scammers. I think it's time I report this office as a whole.

I will find every way I can to avoid having to deal with this post office. They are the rudest, most inconsiderate, unhelpful people I have ever had to deal with. With the exception of three front desk workers, I’m appalled that some of these people still have a job with the way they treat and talk to customers.

I received my passport back in August but my original birth certificate has not been sent back to me. When will I be getting it or was it sent and now it’s lost? Please email me to let me know. I’ve tried for 2 days to call and no one answers the phone.

ISSUE: Mail is not getting delivered in a timely manner. Every other day sometimes even twice a week. Tubs, Containers did not get picked up when placed at mailbox for numerous days. Today a certified letter was to be delivered to the Sheriff Bucky Rowland. I'm Sorry we missed you card was placed in the mailbox while the office was open for business where someone could have signed for the letter. This letter needs to be reissued on Friday 9/2/2022 office is open from 8 am -5 pm. No one will pick up the phone at the Columbia Post office for me to address these issues, after repeated calls today. Most of our mail is legal and needs to be delivered in a timely manner. This is a true issue with the service you are providing. Virginia Ragsdale Civil Clerk.

I had a package that was out for delivery and never arrived. It was out for delivery again two days later and still never arrived. I still haven't received the package. I've made numerous attempts to reach someone and get nowhere. This is the third time that I've had this same issue with packages that are supposedly out for delivery and never arrive. The last one was supposed to be delivered on a Tuesday and showed up randomly on a Sunday evening, five days later. Also, Informed Delivery shows that I've had mail many times that I've never received or will sometimes get multiple days later. This post office is the absolute worst. I've lived in three different places prior to here and the postal services there were efficient and things arrived when they were supposed to be there. I've never seen anything like the Columbia USPS and its staff. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Seems to be no one overseeing this location. No one answers the phone ever! Had baby chickens arrive dead because couldn’t get anyone to tell me when arriving. Mail is being delivered sporadically. We get a national newspaper that we pay a lot of money to get delivered daily and we we’ve complained once and it still comes in bundles once a week. Front people have no answers. I’m think no one really cares about service at this place

I don’t usually complain about the PO because they are constantly running their tails off. However, I have not received mail for almost a week and Informed Delivery is saying I should get numerous pieces each day. Forget about calling the number to “help” because it rings and rings then disconnects. Some of us don’t have time because of work to drive all the way to the PO to see what the heck is going on. They are the worst!

Columbia TN post office is lazy person infested office. A legit shame on the USPS, wtf does a priority mail package take 9 fu*king days to get an hour and a half to my house? According to USPS tracking it sat at the Columbia office until the day it was supposed to be delivered, I've contacted every possible number, email address available, funny how one of the emails was answered my my local office, that basically said oh that office sucks, they are always late but no we can't give contact info for that particular office. Well I found it any way, today is Saturday so they will only be open for a few hours, they will get phone calls every 30 minutes today until I get answers. I own my business so I have time today to let another "business/ govt entity" how s*it they are. The fu*ked up thing is the first 3 it didn't move I tried to just go get it. No response,I have an event Monday I have to have the package for. It has to be here, it was sent to the post office an hour from my house, on the 26th! Very p**sed off "customer of USPS!" Not that they give a f*c*, legit one of the easiest jobs in America and half the time the fat bi*ch*s they hire won't get out of the d**n truck so if you aren't standing in the front yard make eye contact like "yes I want my package, bring it to me" they will literally drive off. I had a sign for package delivered from a buddy with ten thousand cash, I was in my house, they never even knocked on the door left a card in my mail box, went the next morning, the driver took my package home with him! Ten thousand cash, and then didnt come to work the next day! F**k is wrong with USPS? I'll be talking to the people in Columbia TN today, matter of a fact I may stop by and see them. B*t*hes.

Been waiting on an Amazon package and received a text on my phone that the package was undeliverable and they will try again. I called the W 7th St PO and spoke with Vickie. She told me they will NOT try to redeliver it because it's over-sized (I can understand this). I told her I should have been notified that I would have to pick it up and she continually spoke over me and wanted to argue that the text would have told me that. I read to her, word-for-word, what the text said but she still wanted to argue. I'm so over USPS. It's no wonder they are constantly begging for money and in a state of sinkage. I try to avoid using them as much as possible. Most of the employees at this location (front counter) are very nice, but this lady doesn't care.

Once again our mail is in another neighbors mailbox. Today, a package I needed was delivered, BUT THE KEY TO THE SECURE BOX WAS PUT IN SOMEONE ELSE'S BOX!!! AGAIN!!! REALLY?!!! Are these post people not trained? Do they not understand English? I believe on both counts! My neighbor walked over a STACK of mail that included my government stimulus check! There needs to be some investigation into this terrible service. I'm going to see what needs to happen so this terrible service is somehow corrected.

My out-going mail is not getting picked up in the mailbox. I will have it ignored or put back in with the in-coming mail. This has just started about a month ago. I live with my daughter's family and they are not having any issues with their mail. I have called and made a complaint but it has not been resolved as of today, I had my letter but back in the box with the incoming mail. I need a solution or a new mail carrier.

I brought in a letter to Columbia Post Office on the 10th of October and said that it was URGENT that it be delivered to a Post Office Box in Columbia, no later than the 15th of October. I said that I was willing to pay any amount of money and didn't mind doing next day or overnight deliver. I emphasized this was URGENT. I was advised to do a Certified Letter and was promised that it would be delivered on time and in fact was told it would be placed in the box by the 12th of October. In fact, the letter wasn't delivered until the 17th, and just cost a poor non-profit organization over $50,000. People will lose their jobs, citizens will lose support. My heart is absolutely broken that so many hours of work is wasted because the post office couldn't deliver a letter a few feet in 5 days, and in fact took 7 days. Even if this letter had to be sent to Nashville first, I don't understand how it took 7 days... and WHY on EARTH didn't you warn me and advise me to get guaranteed overnight, knowing how URGENT this letter was??? How on earth can you ever make this right?? How on earth can people trust what you do??

Just had the opportunity to get assistance from this post office. A letter had been sent using priority mail and when using the tracking tool it was identified as having insufficient address information. The postal worker assisted me using the tracking number and found the package, identified it did not have an address label, made the correction and was able to deliver the documents to the correct address. I can not thank them enough for their professionalism and dedication.

WORST POST OFFICE EVER! I gave this office the benefit of the doubt for over a YEAR - hoping the staff would CHEER UP. They are all awful, rude, disrespectful people! If your job is that depressing, then PLEASE find another job. I had my fill of the post office this morning when they decided it was ok to open my package to "make sure" it was a priority box I was using. It said priority on the outside and had several priority stickers as well as a priority shipping label. I WAS SENDING IT PRIORITY. Then they said that I was "one of the people who tries to break the rules." Um, for sending something in a PRIORITY box and paying PRIORITY shipping? That's cool...
