Postal Locations

Went to get my mail on Seacroft Drive and one whole side of the big box was opened and some mail was on the ground. I could see the boxes with mail in them. I took the mail that was on the ground and put it in the bottom box. I closed the door but it won’t lock. Anybody can get into and steal the mail. Also I have been getting other peoples mail in my box. This is not good. I have a picture of the way I found the box when I picked up my mail. I did call the Post Office and spoke to Daniel and he was going to get in touch with the office responsible for this area. This is in Surfside Beach 29575.

I live in a neighborhood not far from this USPS location. Everyday someone in my neighborhood posts about a missing package. I supposedly had a package delivered on September 29th. Well, it wasn’t in my mailbox. Because it was a UPS package that was transferred to the USPS, I have no way to track my package or file a claim. The mail carriers at this location need to be retrained.

Can’t believe that today I paid 166.00 to rent my small mailbox for another year. This is a 42.00 dollar increase from last year. Time to put up my own mailbox. If the Postal Service continues these exorbitant rates, they will be looking for customers shortly.

By any chance could you please have the lady who delivers mail to the Glenns Bay Retreat to put the mail in the CORRECT mail box. I keep getting other ppls personal mail and mine keeps getting lost. She has already gave away my Starbucks gift card along with other personal mail is now in the hands of my neighbors with my SSN and all my personal information. Please retrain her and tell her to SLOW down!!

This post office does not answer calls. If you have issues regarding mail service, contact the Myrtle Beach location. They were super helpful!

Wondering why mail taking 6 and 7 weeks to be delivered from Surfside to DE

Been calling for days from Ohio. Packages sent accidentally to our old po box.....no one answers the phone. I've had to ask a local friend to go to the post office and see if the packages are even still there!

The lines are long but the employees are really pleasant and helpful! Thank goodness or it would be as much fun as having to catch a pig while you were wearing flip flops. I’m not sure I’d be looking forward to the long lines every day if I worked there. It’s probably time for a brand new post office. About phone calls, I’m not sure you’ll get an answer. I’ve called several different times over the years with no answer.

What happened to a local phone number? I am receiving mail that is postmarked 7 days old. I know we had a holiday but local mail a WEEK to receive? USPS needs to hire more workers...line out the door everyday. I have a post office box at surfside and would like to receive my mail in a timely fashion...considering most of my income is through the mail. Fed up because cannot speak with someone to resolve.

Been trying to reach the post office regarding a package that tracking says is "undeliverable" even though we have sent to the same address in the past. No answer, left message and no call back. I can't drive 11 hrs to resolve. Can someone help???

I am out of town and have been trying for the past 2 days to reach somebody by phone with no luck. My daughter has lupus and I have been with her in VA. I think it is time to re-new my box and don't want it to get cancelled like you did me last year. How can I reach somebody to help me? My box is 14376, Surfside Beach, SC 29587

No kidding, Surfside Beach, and Myrtle Beach are every bit as bad as the DMV!! Can't talk to anyone over the phone, and yet SB tells you if you have any delivery issues to call the MB office....never answers...don't have enough $$ to hire more help???? Gimme a break....
