I've called to check on a package it is 10:37a.m. and the phone has been taken off the hook. I've never had so many issues in my life trying to get in touch with an actual person. If its not a robot im talking to then ppl take the phone off the hook so they don't have to do there job. I've also been calling since 9 a.m. so for almost two hours they've had the phone off the hook.
Requested that a package be delivered to my work address. We have 4 exterior doors. I received an email that my package could not be delivered because the entrance was blocked. Our mail box is out front and in view of my office. We did not receive any mail that day. So how is it that the door was blocked. I tried calling and was transferred through the auto system for over 10 minutes. I know that we are in strange times, but why did the receiptionist not pick up??? No voice mail where you can leave a call back #. This is not acceptable customer service.
Postal delivery for the past 2-3 months has been horrible. I have had a utility bill returned to sender (address on the bill was correct - I have been receiving bills at the same address for 2+ years), a credit card bill that was never delivered (resulting in service charge for a past due payment) and a SC Real ID driver license that did not arrive (when others ordered for the household did). We routinely receive mail for the wrong address - its not just the street number that is wrong, but the entire street is incorrect. There seems to be very little care taken when sorting and delivering the mail. I have phone a complaint on 9/17 and was promised a return call on 9/18. That didn't happen. VERY FRUSTRATED!
This post office sucks. There is no reason for them to have a phone, because they never answer or call back. I had a package due today and always get my packages delivered to my side door for convenience, since I live on that side of the house. Today my package was delivered to my front door and I saw the man in time to go out door and yell for him to bring the package over to side. He pretended not to hear me but I know he did because he stopped when I called him. He then got in his car and drove off. I can only walk about 15 feet without stopping and sitting down.
Our 24 unit condominium association purchased two new, USPS approved cluster mail boxes and want to install them in the respective buildings that house owners for those boxes. We have asked the postmistress at Georgetown, USPS to OK the location of the new boxes but she is too busy (and too rude toward her customers) to give us an opinion.
I have had 3 different occasions that pkg was out for delivery and it never came that day. My mail usually doesn't get her until almost 5pm and some days later. I know there is a new mail lady but something needs to be done about pkg not being delivered when they say they are to be delivered. My neighbors pkg was dropped in her flower bed and left there.
Called last week at 3:58, their voice mail was already activated saying they were closed and even gave the hours saying they didn't close until 4:30PM. Now here I am on a Saturday afternoon waiting on my paycheck to come in, it's almost 2pm. Usually mail is here b/t-12-1, but of course when you need it they're always late or not even coming. When you call the office, they list their hours but no further information. If I was running this place I'd have an on call manager, to help handle these type of issues. There is a reason FEDEX is growing and growing, and business with Postal Office is constantly going down. Sad customer service, unwillingness to become flexible with changing times, and inconsistency will be the downfall of your business.
