First of all, God Bless my postal workers. They are charged with an almost impossible task with few resources. I'm posting here because an extensive search of the Postal Services website for feedback comes up NULL. Most unfortunate. I'd rather give the feedback to those who are capable of using it to provide better service to both the public AND their employees. I want to thank Terri, for her assistance in getting a package delivered. Rescuing my package from the Merry-Go-Round that it was on going back and forth to the Columbia Processing Center, Post Office 29223, and Post Office 29229. The package arrived from Pennsylvania to the Columbia Processing Center within two days. Unfortunately the next 4 days it has been enjoying and seeing the sites here in the Columbia SC Postal area, going round and round. Oh, and by the way, can you please get my carrier a new vehicle. I hear her from 3 blocks away as her vehicle coughs and sputters trying to go from mailbox to mailbox. I have offered her a free tune-up, but I know it doesn't work that way. I hope this helps to improve services.

HORRIBLE! They made a comment about the size of a box that was being put in the bin inside. It was dropped off on 10/17 and it is 10/20 and tracking shows that it has not even left the post office. I am guessing they decided that they would not ship it out and put it to the side because they were annoyed.

Every Saturday my packages are saying delivered and they are not being delivered. At this point I believe the driver is stealing my packages. This location leaves the phone off the hook so it is impossible to ever reach anyone and when you file a complaint online they close it and say delivered because that’s how the driver marks it. I have filed several complaints and can not get anyone to call me back or look into it. The things they are saying are being delivered in my mailbox couldn’t possibly even fit in there! It ONLY happens on Saturdays and days we haven’t been home. Please look into who ever is delivering on Saturdays!!

I am so over this mess!!! Every time I have a package coming I get the message the delivery attempt failed. I live in an apartment and they provide boxes for larger packages to go in. On numerous occasions I have went to the boxes right after getting this notification and there are tons of available boxes. I have to go to the office to get my package and only to see it could’ve fit in the box. If I wanted to always have to go to the office to get my package I wouldn’t pay for delivery. If I lived in a house they would put it at your door!!!! Not to mention we have outdoor private entrance so there is no closed in building to enter. This is not the only apartment I have lived in but this is the only usps can’t ever get my stuff to me. There is 1 manager at the office whom is nice and helpful (can’t remember her name at the moment) THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!

Twice stamps I've ordered from this post office never made it to my mailbox. Most recently, I sent an inquiry letting them know I didn't get my stamps. The follow-up response was "the stamps were delivered to the wrong address". That's outrageous!! I'm not buying stamps for the neighborhood or the carrier for that matter. I want my stamps replaced.

Trying to get a re-delivery is IMPOSSIBLE. Trying to get a usps employee to pick up the phone is IMPOSSIBLE. Horrible service!

I've been going to this Post Office for years almost every day. I've spent many hours waiting in line. The regular employees on the front desk are always helpful and they try to keep a good attitude despite the many idiots they have to deal with. Plenty of people come in and expect them to pack and tape their packages for free and get pissed when they find out that nothing is free. People think that staffing cuts are the employees fault. Only one person working during lunch hour? That is a management decision. I hate many things about the Post Office, everyone does - BUT, don't blame the folks on the front line, they are doing the best they can. And to the person that is ragging on Kem below - he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever know - BUT, he won't let you cut to the front of the line. Grow up!

I must agree with every comment.. i have been calling them all day. I fought with the robot voice on the phone for 20 min before they finally directed me to a person, that real person then directed me to the switch board.. haha, they laughed and said which branch did that? I told them this exact one she called them several times and got no answer either.. she even tried the secret squirrel number and still no answer. Lets not talk about the people delivering the mail... I thought there was some sort of dress code policy or something. I mean if someone knocked that driver out and took the truck no one could tell if they stole the usps truck or work for them... its a mess..

This has to be the worst Post Office in the entire United States. I have never encountered such rude, incompetent people anywhere in my life, not even the DMV! Everyone is rude and unprofessional. Calling them is an absolute joke. Literally anytime I have tried calling there, no one has EVER answered, not even one time. Cedric, who I guess is some kind of "supervisor" (HA!!) is probably the worst of everyone. He may have better luck working at an elementary school since that is about his level of experience and professionalism. I don't really care if this office is tax funded or privately funded, no one should be allowed to treat people this way. They should consider getting an entire new staff. According to the comments below, it looks like many others feel the same way about how horrid this place is.

Some real jerks work here. Especially a round, older fellow named "Kem". This guy throws and rips boxes right in front of you and insults your lack of postal intelligence constantly. This kind of thing is the reason I do not use the USPS anymore. Please try harder... It's embarrassing.

I agree with FedUp. The person that answers the phone (Dedra) is very unprofessional and lazy. They will talk around the problem and never address it directly. When you complain they try to get back at you by not delivering your mail.

This branch personifies all things "government-incompetence.". Long lines, lazy & rude employees, can't ever get anyone on the line to assist and our mail is delivered at 7pm most days. I have never once had a positive experience at this location since they opened. Just another reason why I'm moving out of Richland County. This branch should be shut down. Bleeding the taxpayer and delivering nothing in return. Literally.

To be fair, your taxes don't pay for USPS services. It's all self supported and funded. A little research would help you not to look like an idiot.
