Every time we have our mail held this post office has messed it up. This has gone on for years. Mail does not resume on the requested date. Recently, after two days of no mail, I called and an employee told me they had the accumulated mail and assured me that it would arrive the next day. It did not. I called and they told me it was waiting for me. I went in and they couldn't find it. The employee at the desk said he couldn't guarantee that the mail would start again the next day. I called and spoke to the supervisor, complaining about how often the held mail gets screwed up. She said she would speak directly to the carrier and make sure the mail started again. This has been a recurring problem for years. You'd think the post office could deliver the mail.

They screwed it up again. On the hold mail request form, twice we stated that we would pick up the accumulated mail. Instead they delivered it two days early, where it sat in the mailbox while we were out of town. This is the worst post office in the country.

The hits just keep on coming with this place. Today I came in to pick up my held mail. When the clerk brought it out I asked if he would please make sure the mail delivery resumed. He interrupted me and said he had gotten all the mail, including the mail for that day. I tried to explain that in the past there were problems resuming delivery but he interrupted me again and called the next person in line. This happened three times. He would not listen to me and repeatedly called the next person. I told him to stop ignoring me. He replied that he wasn't ignoring me. I told him that yes, he was. He finally let me finish. As I left I told him that I would be contacting the postmaster. He shot back that he would give me the number. And how about "May I see your identification, please?" instead of "You got any ID on you?" There is no reason for a customer to be treated this way. I wish there was another option for mail delivery.

I just moved here. The mail carrier left a message in my mailbox she wouldn't be delivering my mail. She did this bc I put previous tenants mail within open box area of community mailboxes. She left a note stating she's not responsible for my trash. I would have to get my mail @ the post office. Apparently she's not responsible deliver mail either. Bc since I've moved here boxes are labeled "undeliverable" It should be labeled " I can't climb steps." or " I don't want to."

paid for a next day delivery on Friday, 4/14/23 to go to Chantilly, VA. It DID NOT ARRIVE UNTIL TODAY, 4/17 LATE MORNING. I called the Wakefield PO and the person I spoke to was exceptionally rude and disrespectful and then hung up on me. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. The package contained important legal documents concerning my brother who passed away on Friday, 4/14.

I saw a pile of envelopes on my Providence Journal box at the entrance of my driveway a few minutes ago. Among them was a bill from RI Electric Company, due date: February 18th. Today is 30th!! My mailbox is placed beside the front door. Why didnt' the mailman walk the driveway (not too long) and leave the mail in my mailbox, placed beside the front door.! I now have to pay a fine for the late payment!!! be before when a mailman left some mail in my Pro-Jo box on the street. , rather than leave them at the Mail box near the next to the front door.

Annoyed. The regular carrier must be on vacation, she is wonderful. Unfortunately I've had a different carrier these past few weeks. My mail service is terrible. When that red flag is upright it means mail is to be picked-up, instead the carrier ignored the flag and deposited my incoming mail on top of the outgoing mail that was already in the box with the flag up waiting for pick-up. DOESN'T THE POST OFFICE TRAIN THEIR CARRIERS on how to pick up mail properly anymore? Carriers of mail should be glad of having employment, the postal carrier does not know how do do the job properly.

I had "received" my package today, only to get home 1 hour later to the package not being there. It says it was delivered using your tracking. I live in a nice quiet neighborhood and nobody would steal packages.

When the flag is up on a mailbox it means there is mail to be delivered. So here is a hint PICK UP THE MAIL FROM THE BOX! I have lived in several locations and have never meant a more disorganized dysfunctional group of mail carriers. Claiming you leave notices when you do not, the same day I received an email saying a notice was left at my house I watched the mail carrier drive or should I say fly by my house. The speed limit is 15 and the carrier was doing at least 30. Your job is not brain surgery, you take the mail and put it in the box! I pay taxes for a bunch of mornons! GET IT TOGETHER YOU INCOMPENTENT BUNCH OF FEDERAL EMPLOYEES! YOU ARE ALL A JOKE!

The United States Postal Service is no longer funded by tax revenue. It is a quasi private industry whose only revenue comes from the sale of postage. You paying taxes is irrelevant to your complaint.
