this post office sucks !!!!!!!!!! nobody picks up the phone the mail carrier leaves the mail in the box when the flag is up .I get the wrong mail all the time this place should be shut down

Noone ever answers the phone at this post office. No matter when I've called. Do they ignore it, have ringer shut off or what. Terrible customer relations for a government agency. Impossible to get answers from this facility.

Tried to call twice for an important issue- Passport tracking showing lost between Stroudsburg and Philadelphia and both times after ringing for a long time they pick up and hang up. This Post Office has really gone down hill under current Post Master

March 28, 2023. What is going on at the Stroudsburg post office at Ann St. For several years I've had a wonderful mail lady Sherry delivery my mail and packages. There was a different female carrier other than her, who left 2 packages by my garage door. One of the packages didn't belong to me. It belong to someone several houses down from me. I went and took it to the person. She told me she hasn't been getting all her packages either. I've had medical cards sent to me and I never got them. Twice a charge card company sent me cards and I never got those either. I went to the post office to mail a bill. The company received it a month in a half later!! Last night at 8:30pm I was approaching my driveway and saw a white post office van pull away. They delivered mail that late. When I went inside and looked at the mail over 10 letters didn't belong to me!! They had different addresses and names. These are letters people are waiting for!!! The mail is also not being delivered every day 2-3 days without mail. Then on a Sunday I find mail in my mailbox. I went to the post office and returned them and wanted to put a complain or to speak to a manager and the gentlemen who addressed me...said to go to this website and put a complain. I hope they straighten up their act soon.

On 9/1/21. I purchased a money order for $ 1225. It was for rent & I sent it in the Ann street office. My landlord never received it & I was told by the Ann st manager that it would take up to 90 days to get a refund. I haven’t heard anything. James HARKNESS. 1109 Dreher Avenue,Stroudsburg PA

Online, I put my mail on hold for the post office to hold it from December 13, 2020, until January 11th, 2021. I went in person today January 10th to pick up my mail a day early, only yo find that my mail wasn't on hold anymore and had been delivered on the 8th. I did the hold in the first place because we all share a mailbox where I live in a small community. I didn't appreciate this as my personal government mail is lost. And I guess there is no recourse according to staff at the post office. I was just told that there was a new carrier. With my mail was the form though saying ro hold the mail till the 11th. The new carrier can't read? It's not ok.

Our delivery person ALWAYS leaves lid open on mailbox so everything gets soaked when raining. I dint get why they can't just close it!!

Mail delivery used to be great, but for the past year or so, my packages are thrown on the curb. I've found packages in snowbanks! I've had packages on the ground even a few inches into the road. Shameful, for a time when private companies threaten the existence of the USPS.

Regular mail is being delivered, mail box gets hit frequently and they don't close the lid so when it rains the mail gets wet! Packages are NOT being delivered for no clear reason; mail box and driveway are accessible, but they leave a message that mail is undeliverable. Please STOP hitting the mailbox, close the lid and EXPLAIN why packages are not delivered! If you don't like your job go find something else.

The Stroudsburg post office needs to empty mail boxes more often. The mail is sticking out of the opening making it accessible for anyone to take someone’s mail. Please empty the boxes more often so we don’t have to worry about theft.

My regular mailman is the best mail person ever. Lewis!!! When he is out it is a nightmare. One temps is terrible and I have video evidence. They don't scan shipments!!!! I am out thousands of dollars online sales because people are requesting their money because you never scanned when you picked it up. Therefore there is NO proof it was shipped and now the post office has everything backed up and delayed. The pkgs can not be found. Cant anyone ever do their job!!!! I will be filing complaints against you and the post office!

There is a man who is not accepting my priority packages WHICH INCLUDE A PRIORITY STICKEER!!!!! It is a known fact that I am able to send them. Everywhere else accepts and all the other employees expect this one man. Now I have taken time out my day got packages, I sent my fiancé who was out in the cold all day working. I AM DISGUSTED. I pre paid for these labels. I will be back to make a formal complaint Tall bald man.... in his thirties. This is now the second time this has happened. Everyone else accepts. I’m fuming.

Im a senior citizen, and my husband passed away in NY April 10th where he was getting treatment for Renal failure, and lm stuck in NY waiting for his ashes. I've had a Post Office Box here for many years and l never made an online account. My P.O. Box is due and they won't help me pay by phone and l tried creating an online account, but won't let me either because the cell phone is the same they have on record. I can't go there until my husband's ashes come. Im going through enough already loosing my husband and now with the Post office issue l don't know what to do. They used to accept my payment over the phone before, but they have new people who are useless, and heartless. This is outrageous. And they raised $60 more for the same P.O. Box. That's too much money for an increase. They stuff my box with commercial stuff that l don't want. Im paying for the bix for MY MAIL NOT for your use to stuff your commercial garbage you get paid for. That shouldn't be allowed.

My mail delivery is perfect in every way! I am a Disabled Veteran, and many days I can barely walk my back hurts so bad. I have found ordering things online keeps me from having to walk into the store and carry it out to the parking lot, lug it into the car, and drag it into the house! My postal carrier has a little flashing light I always watch for! They always put my boxes on my porch out of the rain and wind! They snap a rubber band around my letters and neatly stack them on top of the packages! They brave going past my porch guard “Tom” the rooster! He never hurts people but is plenty scary when he chases you! Bless your heart for always being there in the rain, snow, sleet, and hail, high winds, darkness, and blistering sunshine! You are the best!

This post office is horrible. They have a new post master every few months. One worse than the one before. They don't answer phone calls. I have 3 letters that were sent from NJ over a week ago. The folks in California, Texas and Kentucky received their letters 4 days ago. We who are closest have not. Now I have to go to the actual post office to get treated rudely (and probably have door slammed in my face, yes that has happened). And then the post office wants bail out money?? Forget it. They need to be bought out and made efficient.

A package was just delivered to my house. It was left at the top of 3 steps in plain view of anyone walking by. All a person had to do was go up one step, grab the box and run. I have an open porch that has a closed bottom. This package could easily have been placed behind a wall so that it could not be seen by anyone walking by. My mail was placed in my mailbox next to my front door but the box was not moved to be next to my front door. There is also a container on my porch which would have hidden the box from view. Last month a person walked down Scott Street, went right on to the person's porch and stole an item that had been left on a table by that person's front door (the video was posted on Facebook). If a person is walking on Scott Street, they could easily walk down a block and walk on Thomas Street. Please instruct mail carriers that, if possible, place packages where they are not easily seen by people walking down the street. My porch has plenty of privacy. Please take advantage of it. Thank you.

The carriers at this postal location are first class liars. Delivery is atrocious. I have watched the carrier put mail in box and walked directly to the box to retrieve the mail. There was only 1 package in the box. The carrier insisted she put 2 pkgs in the box. She was not even out of site when I got to the box with 1 pkg in the box. Recently the carrier reported she could not get to mailbox (on a township road that was not blocked), she could not get to driveway ( which was accessible), and could not get to front door ( which was readily available). Funny thing 2 other pkgs were put on front steps earlier in the day. When the package was delivered her comment was handed directly to customer. An out and out LIE. IT WAS PUT IN THE MAILBOX. Our mail is put in other boxes which sometimes gets to us by a neighbor. This postal service is far from first class service.

I understand your frustration, for some reason my mail is always returned to the sender because for some odd reason my address never comes up.. When you go to the post office in person there is always some excuse. The only way to get your mail is to purchase a mailbox.. Go figure.

Many thanks to the Saturday morning crew on 11-17-18 for helping me retrieve a package that would have reached me too late for an author event! It was just about to go out for delivery but they were kind enough to dig through my carrier's mail and hand me the package in the lobby. Made my day!!

Can someone tell me why our development gets skipped with mail delivery.. and sometimes they come on sundays?? This is getting ridiculous.. maybe our route needs to be split up.. I wait on important mail.. and it's late often!!! If she can't handle it hire someone who can!
