Live in Blue Mountain Estates. Recent mail delivery has been very bad. Last week especially. Very late delivery after 6 pm and wrong mail in my box. I know finding replacement for Diane is difficult but when are we going to get regular worker who cares?

The 1 star is not directly related to Stroudsburg, but USPS in general because it is not the first time. My tracking number is 9505512719734254267040 and I’ve tried to intercept because USPS deliver3d it to the Passport office in Philadelphia vs the address in Stroudsburg, PA. It was sent Priority Mail in a flat rate envelope and I’m denied the intercept because it’s not one of the approved means of intercepting, which include Priority Mail . I’ve paid for this service and the person I sent it to is out of the country. How can I have my package returned that I paid extra money to send. 3013189816

Should give a 0. My grandson is a freshman at East Stroudsburg University. I know some students get home sick and sent him a card letting him know I was thinking about him. It is postmarked September 11. How do I know it because it just was returned October 21st. It is marked moved no forward address and unable to forward. Both are not true. I tried to call the post office that delivers to the school and either got a constant busy signal and then a message saying please hold for the operator. I waited and then a voice said please enter your access code. Since when do you need an access code to speak to a human? Also, about 2 weeks ago I sent another card but this time in a 8/10 Manila envelope. Now I am worried that will be returned also. My hand writing is clear and I had the address that the school gives all families. Name College Building name Room # Street address City state and zip# What more does a grand parent have to do to send someone anything while at school. 6293064143121612 is the tracking number of 2 packages that I'm still waiting to receive. One package was delivered by Amazon where they were purchased last week and delivered on Fri 02/10. The 2 remaining packages were suppose to be delivered the same day. But a card was left showing 2 packages were not delivered because no one was home. Why would I need to be home just deliver to front door and leave it. I requested the 2 packages be delivered the next day Sat 02/11 to be left at the front door. It is now Mon 02/13 packages aren't delivered so I assume I will be forced to drive to the post office to pick up the packages.

I do not want to wrongly accused the Post Office of poor Management. However their accuracy getting mail into a correct box or delivering is terrible. I am always checking for bills that never get delivered or packages that never make it. They claim delivery when not delivered. Why is this Post Master not gone. So wrong.x

PO Boxes up $52 in 3 yrs for a 3x5 box?!?!?! It should be free if no carrier availability in my area!!!!! Absolutely disgraceful, answer the PHONE!!!

why are my packages being held in EAST STROUDSBURG post office. i live over 40 minutes from post office. my package tracking says i asked you to hold my items but I DID NOT...WOULD NOT... so now the ES PO IS LYING TO COVER INCOMPETENCE...

Very disgusted with the East Stroudsburg Post Office. They never answer the phone. I go for days without mail in my box. I know currently there are pieces that i should have gotten. Mostly bills and i am tired of having to travel 10 miles to the post office to pick up packages. Today I received an email from the company i ordered from that said the package was delivered at 10:24 this a.m. There is no package and there is no slip in the box telling me it is at the post office. I come from a long line of postal people. These jobs used to be taken very seriously now its just a joke!!!! 05/18/2021

All the negative comments are true. This post office never delivers mail, the employees are very rude. They do not pick up the phone ever. I'm trying to call to get information on why they are holding my mail and the phone either rings endlessly, or they just hang up. Probably the worst post office in Monroe county. They need to clean the trash out of this place.

I've read a lot of the below comments, they are true, all my experiences with this post office in the last 20 years have been exactly as described. today I've called no less than 60 times (its now 9:30a) and someone picks up and hangs up. I can't believe I have go there in person because these people refuse to do their job. They reported my package was delivered and it was not. I'm so pissed off since the item ordered is discontinued and I purchase the only 4 available. The worse post office service ever based on performance they should all be fired!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I don't understand why this post office has such issues delivering a package. I have a tiny mailbox in my lake community. I get that you can't actually drive my package from the community mailboxes up the street to my house (which is in fact what I thought the post office was supposed to do) but did you have to jam it into the box and now I can't get it out. Called the post office...busy signal for the past hour. What happens tomorrow when I get a mail delivery and NOTHING will fit in the box because you didn't use your brain when you jammed that box in there? You know what's going to happen...the post office will return to sender. I am so done with your horrible service.

Worst postal service ever. I have moved into this town and today makes the 9th time my mail hasn't been delivered. I called the post office back in the winter to find out why we dont get daily mail and she said, and I will quote, "It is too dark in your neighborhood and it's not safe". Well, mr postman, my mailbox sits directly under a street light! I thought the post office delivers in rain, snow, sleet and hail, but I guess not the dark. Funny, we used to have a man deliver who would drive drunk in good old East Stroudsburg, but now have a woman mail lady and its unsafe! PATHETIC

I have recently moved to this area and put in a change of address. After not receiving mail for approximately two weeks I visited this post office. I was told to return with a copy of my deed and proof of identification, which I did. I was then told to fill out some paperwork, which I did also. I then paid for a key that would go to the mailing box that was associated with my new address. They were to call me when the lock was changed on the box and we could pick up the key. I was told that this process would take 2 to 3 days. After a week of not hearing from them, I returned to the post office, was required to fill out the same paperwork AGAIN. After another week of waiting I went back again, to be told that someone would contact me that day. Another week went by and I found myself going back for the fourth time. I requested to speak with a supervisor who proceeded to tell me that my address did NOT exist. I then explained that I had paid for a key for a box, showed him my receipt and that we gave them a copy of our deed with our home address in it. He then said, once again, that my address does not exist but he would assign my address a box and would contact me that afternoon to let us know when we could pick up the key. It is now 10 days later and I have heard NOTHING!!!! I plan to return this morning and expect some answers!!! I have now been without mail for 5, yes 5 weeks!!! This run a round is ridiculous!!!!

Again another package not delivered when I PAID extra money for next day delivery! ""Could not deliver package." WHY? Subs are terrible and the package that was not brought to MY PORCH like the others are, was important food for kittens!!!!! Whoever that sub is she needs to be reprimanded! No excuse at all for not beeping the horn. If we are not home just pull in our very short driveway and leave it by my side porch on the bottom step! I can not and will not stand in lines with a back back and two very bad knees!!!!

Same problem over and over. Expecting a package and Amazon tracking states delivery was attempted but mailbox was full. When I go to mailbox there's no slip yet because postal carrier did not even arrive yet. So she's not even attempting to deliver. She scans it at post office and leaves box there so now I have to pick it up. Every single time. At least try to deliver it.

Horrible post office such an inconvenience lazy incompetent workers. I own a home and I have to go to the post office to pick up a package if there is no locker space. How is that my problem if there is no locker space drive your truck to the house and drop it at the front door like every other delivery service. Pure laziness they only make sure to leave packages for people that pay these USPS workers money on the side to make sure there packages are always delivered to them . If your not paying these workers on the side expect to always have to pick your packages up at the post office. All the reviews are the same and no one does anything about it so you can tell the same work ethic comes from the higher ups as well. Poor piss performance you should be ashamed to work for this post office as everyone has the same opinion

THERE IS NO EXCUSES FOR THE SERVICES YOU AND YOUR COWORKERS ARE DOING I AM A POSTAL WORKER MYSELF SO I KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT DOING YOUR JOB. I AM GOING TO HAVE TO REPORT THIS POST OFFICE IT IS TERRIBLE HOW YOU ARE DOING THIS TO OUR COMMUNITY. Mother’s Day packages- held at customer request... no- they were not “held at customer request”. Customer very much wanted mother to receive the gifts (items she actually needs) delivered. Second package- left on front porch... NO- I’m fact it was not, it’s nowhere to be found. This place is disposable. No accountability from the curriers.

I've never ever had such issues with USPS until I moved to Marshalls Creek. Carrier refuses to leave packages. Ok, most packages don't fit in mailbox doesn't take a genius to figure that out. My problem is I make sure there is always someone home when expecting a delivery, yet the carrier will not get out of car to bring to door. I live in the woods how can you say there is no safe location to leave the package? Try knocking on the door, I dont even mind a text so I can come out and pick it up from your vehicle. Absolutely ridiculous! Sticking to UPS!

I am getting tired of receiving notice from the postal delivery person that an unsuccessful attempt was made to deliver parcels to my home. On one occasion when the package was delivered the next day she told my wife that she had forgotten that she had it, yet she wrote up an attempted deliver slip. We were waiting for a package today, watched her put mail in the box, and later received email regarding attempted delivery. One of the reasons that people like us pay for Amazon prime is for the next day delivery feature and East Stroudsburg Post Office regularly drops the ball in this area.

Key won't fit said box my package is in , guess I gotta make ANOTHER trip in the heat to get my stuff.

USPS East Stroudsburg over the past month has gone from good to HORRIBLE. They will not deliver a parcel to the house anymore. If it doesn't fit in the mail box they don't deliver. Now I have to drive from Bushkill to East Stroudsburg to pick up my parcels.

Speeding. In our little, pet filled, children and older elderly people association, the driver of the Sunday postal vehicle was exceeding all safe and sane limits for the safety of man and beast. If he hits a child, its manslaughter. If he hits a kitten or a newborn puppy near our animal shelter, its a lawsuit.

Hi I just received a note in my mailbox today from the mailman I really don't appreciate being told that he's going to be holding my mail because of signs that I have on my house I had them on my house for almost 4 years now and I don't appreciate being told to take them down and being told by the mailman that he's going to be holding my mail because of my signs being up on my house and he wants me to take them down I really don't appreciate that and I think whoever that person should be fired permanently

My package status showed delivered but I had not received the package. The post man did not ring my bell, three people in the house nor left my package in front of my house by my door the way it is usually done. He actually left my package by the mailbox all the way done the driveway two feet away from the street where cars pass by. Luckily my neighbor noticed where he left my package and picked it up for me, rang my bell and gave it to me. This is not professional at all, had the package been stolen by anyone, I would've had to waste my time going through complaints, contacting the company etc all for the carelessness of the post office.

A package to "Gaynell DeMars, 5159 Milford Rd., East Stroudsburg PA 18302" from my daughter never arrived. It shows delivered @ 1:45 but the only package in the mailbox yesterday was to my son, Todd Radus from CVG. No packages today.

I want to complain about mail delivery. To my address 3123 Emerald Lake Dr.,East Stroudsburg,P.A.,18302 ,comes the advertisement and the rest of the "garbage", but important letters do not come! There is no letter from the transport department with the title, from the lawyer, from the Security Diplomacy. I asked friends from New York to send my address to the letter, but I did not get any of the three letters sent!
