I moved to this area a year ago & I have had so many packages that states was delivered to me but wasn’t. I believe that people no longer take pride in what they do & do not even think of the money that people are losing, maybe if we start making them accountable for their mistakes it would cut down their m a lot of them. Their is very little accountability anymore & I believe it would make a huge difference.

It is completely ridiculous that there is essentially nothing we can do about the terrible service the USPS puts out in this area. No mail for days, deliveries to the wrong address, no one answering the phones, among lots of other complaints... I've had mail delivered twice in the last week. I have packages that I have been waiting on that have been sitting at the post office for the last 2 days or more as well as extremely important mail from my bank that I have yet to receive even though I got the notification from informed delivery that it was going to be delivered today. 3pm and nothing when on the days we actually get mail it's here by noon. And of course Monday is a holiday so no one knows when I will actually get my mail. I'm livid! Now I understand the term going postal... I'm sick and tired of paying taxes for this! I wish we could fire the postal service and just use FedEx!

I live in an over 55 community that is serviced by the Red Lion Post Office. We have a number of mail boxes throughout our community that we can put outgoing mail in to be picked up by the mail carrier and each family has a section in this box for individual families to collect their incoming mail. The mail box on our block has had a broken lock for at least 3 weeks now. Since the lock is broken no mail can be delivered nor picked up. The post office never notified the residents of this problem. When we realized we were not getting mail we told the post office and were told that someone from the post office in Harrisburg needs to come down to Red Lion to fix the lock. At one point we were told it could take up to 2 months for the lock to be repaired. People now must go down to the post office to pick up their mail. Some people do have mobility issues. The other issue is the fact that there is mail sitting in the box, which was put in before we realized there was a problem with the box. A very rude employee of the post office is now saying that it is the communities responsibility to repair the lock. Customer service has hit a low point with this post office. They knew the lock was broken, but never notified anyone. They told us that someone had to come from Harrisburg to repair the lock and now say that it is our responsibility to repair the lock. I had submitted another email about this problem, but no one responded.

Called 4 times and no one picked up. 5th time someone picked up, Sighed, and hung up. If you aren’t there to do your job, stop making everyone else suffer. Unbelievable.

Most of the counter people are moody not like the older one s that were there specially the supervisor my wife left the key in the box someone took it so went to red lion post office the supervisor Took my info. They could hold my mail or since I had a key keep getting my mail had to keep my key because I can not get to the post office till after 4:30 because of my job. So today I went in and ask when are they going to replace my lock it’ been two weeks now I told them I’m going away and who ever had my key and knows I’m going away could get my mail and he says I doubt it He saids it could take a month or more isn’t that ridiculous Maybe our mail system should be operated by private sector they just don’t care I already had cd deliver to my box didn’t get them I called the place I got them and they sent me new order guess what didn’t get them too

I went in asking about a package. I got an email telling me it was at my local post office (Red Lion Pa). When I asked about it, I was told "he did not have time to look for it" Are you serious? Isn't this your job? I wish I could switch post offices. If you hate your job that much then why are you working it? This place is a joke. I wouldn't even give it 1 star!

Employee # 19 was not familiar with the Passport form, scribbled sections out I had completed, if I get the larger passport due to her scribbling out what I wanted, I am going to be upset. She was rude when I asked a question about the city and county ( I am new the area). She picked my picture for my passport, would not let me view. She said I was "to white" and someone wore white with the background and looked naked, comments like this are very unprofessional and racist. When she took me to the back a male employee was sitting there, turned around and looked at me and did not smile, did not acknowledge me, nothing. I was at a local AT&T store and a man in there told me he has lived in Red Lion for 20+ years and he had a similar experience there 6 yrs ago and refuses to return. He uses the Dallastown post office. The sad part is she will not get reprimanded for this unprofessional behavior and it will be accepted and tolerated.
