Once again - despite this site always saying this branch is open, the post office was closed with a sign that says they will not open until tomorrow. This is consistently happening -- nothing has been the same there since there was an employee shift a year ago. Varying times open without any notice. Makes it hard to conduct business when your P.O. box is located there and you can't access important information. PLEASE RECTIFY THE PROBLEM!!
I have no issues with chestnut Hill Post office on Germantown Ave but want to know what happened to the other employees I always saw their. The only one their is an older man and there used to be two other women their. I don’t know if they left for some reason. I hope not.
Waiting for 25 mins for location at 8225 Germantown Avenue to open. No one here. Open time was listed at 9:30. Now 9:55 and can’t wait any longer. Will use fed ex!

Ridiculous I'm in line watching my nails grow. Mean while I hear laughing in the back there's 3 stations and only two people working. Honestly, don't cry for your jobs later when they fire you guys. I just turned around and the door is so long it's hanging out of the lobby smh.
I was blown away by the horrible customer service. I went looking to get a passport for my young son and was treated with utter contempt - when someone finally came to the counter. (At first, no one was there as a line formed and people were left to wonder if anyone would ever show up). Cannot believe these people are paid - with tax money, no less! Rude, unhappy people should be sorting mail in the back - far far away from the helpless public. If I had the option to get a passport somewhere other than the post office I would do it. Unfortunately I do not. Next trip I am tempted to film my experience and post it on YouTube in hopes of shaming the staff into better behavior.
The clerk was very rude... unbelievably rude... i inquired about renewing a passport and she told me no one was there that was at 10 am i asked when would they be there she said they were on lunch i asked when will they be back from lunch she said she didn't know call back after 2 pm . I called back at 2pm she said they they were still on lunch and the hours are between 10 and 3pm so i said so when can i come because all day the person/s were on lunch..she told me come after 3pm after telling me that they are done at 3..she also told me i could do a walk in and that they do renewals which none of the above is true, when i finally called back to talk to a manager after the phone ring out three times because I think i was being ignored the same clerk finally answer gave me a big sigh and hung up on me...GREAT JOB CHESTNUT HILL POST OFFICE...ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR NASTY CUSTOMER SERVICE
No one available for passports today. Apparently, someone is sick and they don't know when they will return. Meanwhile, no one else is able to do passports. I found all this out after I had called before driving to Chestnut Hill.
