I am told that your Postmaster has a supervisory status over St. Helens and Columbia City. Can you tell me why in Columbia City many, many residents are not allowed to have home delivery and must rent, at an increasing rate, P O Boxes?

We have had NOTHING BUT TROUBLE with this post office. They are extremely rude and self titled. We were told that the post office mail delivery routes are "owned" by each mail carrier and they are the ones who decide whether they'll deliver your mail or not! We also had a hold put on our mail only to find out 3 weeks in that another person, who lives at it address, had come into post office at see, told them we no longer live at our address and to stop our mail with return to sender! AND THEY LISTENED TO THAT P weERSON AND DID EXACTLY THAT! they are incredibly incompetent! This was a huge debacle that cost us dearly to fix! They were not willing to fix the issue they created willingly either! We had to get corporate involvement to get them to do anything right by us. They've become especially rude to us now and we were forced to get apo box thinking that would settle the issues. It sort of did, but the damage they caused was done! We hate having to have apo box there but we've no choice at the moment! I would not and will not do any further business with this post office in the future after our rent expires on the box! It's my opinion you do not want to rent from this post office or do any other business here. Maybe buy stamps... Good luck. You will not be greeted with a smile and God forbid you have to have anything more from them, you'll be treated like an inconvenience and like you have just asked them to bare a child for you! It's horrible. No such things as customer service in this post office!

I always got exceptional large amount of mail and Rainier oregon always keeps courteous impolite respectful what I've noticed since moving from Portland oregon.

This Post office is under employed and will not deliver packages just saying "attempted delivery" when delivery was NOT even attempted. Mail box is usually big enough to hold packages and when not able they don't even attempt to drop it off at the house. Phones are almost never working, and a worker told me that they don't even answer the phones because there's so many people calling. THIS IS REDICULUS!

I don't know what to make of this post office. Sometimes I go 2 days with no mail at all, even though I have packages that the USPS says will be delivered during those days. I call the Rainier phone number and nobody will answer the phone. I have a mailbox in town at my house and the delivery person is very nice and seems proficient at her job. I think the problem is at the post office. This post office needs fixed, it is currently broken.

We had a problem with the mail lady giving us some important mail. So we simplified things by ending our po box and just using our mail box which we have had for years. Now instead of finally recieving the article of mail we were expecting..we have had o mail for the last week. Take what we give you and dont complain or you get nothing . This post office needs some cleaning out I believe

Something weird is going on in this office. I send my parents packages from Amazon and they keep disappearing once they've been delivered to this office. I won't trust my packages being delivered here, going to find a UPS store from now on.
