I was very disappoointed and, frankly, infuriated - to see that your employees refuse to wear masks, as per the governor's mandate. As federal employees, I'm shocked that they have such blatant disregard to public safety and law. I entered the building at 4:45pm on 11/9/20, to see that one of the 2 employees working (a blonde woman 30-40ish), was working without any face covering whatsoever. I stood in the doorway and inquired why they were not requiring masks, and the woman WITHOUT the mask on, had the nerve to reply, "yeah, we require them". I pointed out the obvious by saying "YOU and another customer are not wearing one". To which she replied, "well, there's 6 ft of distance... You can come in if you want." There was ABSOLUTELY NOT 6 feet of distance between her and her coworker, or between her and the customer she was helping. I even observed the maskless employee, lean in very close to her coworker, to say something into her ear (less than 6in from her face). I said that I would not ever be doing business there again, and left. The fact that this employee was allowed to work in a federal building, with the public, without proper PPE, is disgraceful. I have reported this to OSHA and Oregon State, and I will make sure to spread the word to the public that the MF post office does not care about the safety of the public, and value their own comfort and "freedom" over HUMAN LIVES.
