Counter staff is terribly rude. Staff is rude on the phone. Called and got information about installing mailbox from one person and another person is changing the instructions. Telling us to change it within a week or they will halt delivery. Had a mail hold with both people's name listed. Because the mail didn't have her name, and she was wearing a ring but had a different last name, they would not give her the mail even though she was on the hold mail request. Would accept a random handwritten letter signed with my name to pick up the mail (no proof who wrote the letter). Wanted a picture ID with address even though we had only lived there a week. Threatened to send all of our mail back to the sender despite a hold mail request. Leave the door open on our mailbox getting our mail soaking wet. Nothing but problems with this location and the staff.

It is ridiculous that the delivery person push a box into a mailbox the size of the package. The corners were crushed to get it in the mailbox so with the mailbox edges rolled inwards it took a long time to get it out. Why not deliver to the front porch that is covered and has chair the packages could be on. I wish it would let me attach a picture. Mike

After a new build with a mailbox! And LIVING IN THE HOUSE. Cardington’s post office put my first delivery to the house as undeliverable due to unknown person and unknown address so I call them and the lady on the phone is angry with me saying I don’t have a mailbox nor do I have siding on my house (mind you I’m living in it with siding and a mailbox) as I proceed to tell her I had all this she continues to ask me are you living in the house as I have to tell her over and over again I’m in the house living there staring at my mailbox right now and staring at my siding. ALREADY GOING TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS POST OFFICE! Never spoke to this rude of a person in my life.

Was supposed to have 2 packages delivered a few weeks ago. Day of delivery received a slip in mailbox that just said unable to deliver. Checked tracking and note said unable to deliver because driveway was inaccessible, would try again. We had just had a snow storm but we plow our own drive so it would have been mostly clear. I completely understood not delivering though. When they are out on snow covered roads, having to make an extra trip up a driveway is not important in my mind and I was willing to wait an extra day or 2 for delivery. However, 2 weeks went by and still no redelivery until yesterday another slip in mailbox that said delivery attempt failed, no answer Final notice. I’m confused I’m home all day and no one knocked or tried to deliver anything. I left a note to just leave at garage doors and so far nothing. These aren’t items that need a signature, just everyday items in small packages. I am so frustrated and have tried to be patient but I’m now assuming my mailman just doesn’t want to get out of truck to deliver a package. I don’t think I should have to make a trip to my post office to pick up packages I paid to have shipped to my home. We just moved here a year ago and this is the first time I have ever had issues with mail delivery EVER.
