Package has been in my zip code since 6:45 am Monday, it is now after 4 pm on Saturday. It apparently will still be there Monday. Emailed USPS, nothing. 😔

What is going on with the mail service these days. Some days delivery is up to 9:00 PM. Going out to retrieve it is risky business in the dark on icy surfaces and with coyotes in areas of Glenville.Other times package tracking tells me my packages are out for delivery. They often never are delivered for several days. Important mail such as bills which need to be paid ASAP have not been received until up to 2 weeks from when they were mailed to me. No wonder the postal service is having issues. Fed Ex and UPS are far more reliable.

Many thanks to the Glenville Post Office clerk (do not know her name) who was such a help to me today in getting a priority mail box delivered to me, as the sender informed me that she did not include my apartment building number nor apartment number on the package which was scheduled for delivery today. I explained the situation to the clerk this morning, and she took down all information and had the box delivered to me today! Most appreciated. The Glenville, NY Post Office deserves five stars! We recently notices that we hadn't received mail in several days. We also had gotten emails from Amazon that our packages were unable to be delivered. Confused, I contacted the glenville office, and the woman I spoke to then called our mail carrier to see what the issue was. I was told that our mail box was too full of mail one day because she had put packages in there, and she assumed we had gone away. So she took our mail out and returned it to the post office and put a hold on our mail! We have 6 cars at our house, coming and going all day. It's hard to believe she didn't see someone home, but besides that, she didn't even leave a message asking if we were away! We were waiting for a scholarship check, w2s, packages, paychecks... I am very upset that this was done and worse, not even apologized for.

This is not a review. I have a neighbor who can't walk across the street to get her mail. I and my husband have been bringing it over for her when we remember. Is there anyway the mailman, is name is Pet, he's a wonderful man. I was wondering if there is a way for him to bring the mail to her door. She can leave a box or something for him to but the mail in. Her name is Tara Rule and she is in and out of the hospital all the time. She has to walk with a cane and even then she has trouble. Can you help me? Thank you, Mrs. Pamela Robarge 655 Sacandaga Road Scotia, NY 12302
