THE POST OFFICE OF NEW ROCHELLE IS BY FAR THE WORST, THEY ARE VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND JUST PLAIN NASTY. I WORK FOR A BUSINESS IN NEW ROCHELLE WHO HEAVILY DEPENDS ON RECIEVING IT'S MAIL ON TIME BECAUSE WE HAVE CHECKS THAT NEED TO BE DEPOSITED AND THERE ARE DEADLINES TO BE MET. IF OUR REGULAR CARRIER IS OUT OR NOW RECENTLY HE HAS BEEN MOVED TO ANOTHER ROUTE IT IS TOTAL CHAOS. WE CALL IN ASKING IF OUR MAIL IS OUT FOR THE DAY AS TO GET AN ESTIMATE OF ARRIVAL AND THEY MIGHT SAY IT HAS OR THAT THEY ARE STILL SORTING..OK FINE, TIME PASSES AND IT IS PAST 1PM A LOT OF THE TIMES AND STILL NO MAIL, WE CALL AGAIN AND THEY WILL SAY IT IS OUT ON THE STREET..WE WAIT AND WAIT AND NO MAIL ARRIVES EVENTUALLY WE ARE DESPERATE AND CALL AGAIN, ONLY TO BE TOLD OUR MAIL IS STILL IN THE POST OFFICE IF WE WOULD LIKE TO GO PICK IT UP!! AS YOU CAN IMAGINE AT THIS POINT WE ARE BEHIND ON OUR WORK AFTER WAITING AROUND FOR MAIL AND CALLING TO BASICALLY BEG THEM TO DO A JOB THEY GET PAID TO DO. ON MULTIPLE OCCASSIONS THEY HAVE TOLD US OUR MAIL CAN BE PICKED UP AFTER TELLING US IT WAS OUT ON THE STREET ALREADY, ONCE WE GO TO PICK IT UP THEY GIVE US A HARD TIME AND SAY THE MAIL IS NOT THERE, ONCE WE BEG THEY CHECK IF IT IS THERE OR NOT THEY FINALLY COME OUT WITH IT OR SOMETIMES DEPENDING ON THEIR MOOD THEY WILL SAY "IT ISN'T HERE " AND WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO OUR OFFICE EMPTY HANDED AND CONTINUE TO WAIT. WE HAVE COMPLAINED AND HONESTLY RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS AS TO WHAT TO DO, IT IS UNFAIR AND SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE THAT WE HAVE TO BEG AND PLEAD WITH THE POST OFFICE WORKERS FOR THEM TO DELIVER MAIL WHICH IS WHAT THEY ARE PAID TO DO!! PLEASE WHOEVER IS ENCHARGE OF THIS PLACE HAVE THE DECENCY TO TAKE PRIDE IN WHAT YOU DO, TREAT PEOPLE WHO RELAY ON YOUR SERVICE WITH A LITTLE RESPECT AND PROPERLY TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES TO DO THE SAME.
I am very pleased with a response from the New Rochelle Post Office. A lady called Violet took her time and helped me to locate a mail to be delivered. She was very professional, she was at the same time very sweet. And most of all she solved my problem. Congratulations to New Rochelle Post Office. And to "Vio" next time I need I will look for her.
I am looking at an envelope that is addressed clear across town from me. How did it end up in my mailbox and why was the carrier not aware that he was delivering to the wrong address?
Mail always late. Delivery was between 10am and 11am everyday.Now never know when delivery is. Call no descent answer.Will state you will receive mail today. We get delivery anytime of day.This post service is terrible.
What is up with the delivers. I called in November to complain where the mail was at and it's funny the next day deliver was at 4:30 then back to late or none. I called 12/3 told them my neighbors and I did not receive mail for 2 days and it's always delivered late 6:30.Why? Their answer is to go us tomorrow. REALLY.
Incompetent! Don't know what is wrong with this place. Package not delivered because they could not access the building on a Saturday night and they won't re-deliver unless I specifically instruct them to do so . OK, so I make a trip there next business day to pick up the package, wait on line and they tell me that all packages for my building are out on delivery. I go home, wait for the mail and the package is still not delivered! I check the website, and the status now reads "available for pick up" at post office! Now I have to make another trip to pick up the package that they just told me is automatically re-delivered after an initial unsuccessful delivery attempt. I don't dare ask for it to be delivered now as I'll likely never receive it. Additionally, I don't mail anything from there anymore. Numerous paid bills mailed there lost and never delivered. So many instances of this that I can't even trust that anything I send from there will ever reach its destination! They also have not delivered all held mail when I asked for service to be resumed, requiring me to go back there and have them search for it. Unreliable, incompetent and understaffed requiring long wait times in lobby. Truly a disgrace...
This post office is run by MORONS and staffed by idiots. The delivery drivers are lazy, shiftless liars. I get notifications that my package was delivered and it was not. The most amazing thing is I live ONE BLOCK from the p.o. at 255 North Ave in New Rochelle NY. I'm contacting my congressman today to start an investigation. I even have a video of a cretin supervisor to show Rep. Eliot Engel.

This item was delivered and received by this post office and the owner of PO Box 1724 , didn't receive this item. Also, I'd received this response from the company Vitalize regarding its delivery. I would like this matter investigated ASAP and reimburse $109.45 cost of the item. I've included the entire invoice/shipping statement for review.

I do suspect illegal activity at this post office among employees. The shipment was received at this location but the receiver never received it in their PO Box.
I like yo make a complaint. Someone is over there alternation our money orders and cashing them. 18 people thus far have a money order destination to pelican management inc that been a problem since November 2016. That sent their mail through your facility to only hsve it altered and cashed this was my rent money. I hope you guys are investigating this. I need my money back i need someone to contact me. The most service inept post office on the planet. One teller with one long line of 15 people or more working at the speed of an Indira Ghandi fasting. Have seen it more than once.
