I have a PO box in the New Milford post office. I just went to the location today at 10 am. It was not open and there was no explanation or sign suggesting when it would be open. Please advise as to how I can get into my mail box during opening hours!!!

Arrived at the post office in New Milford NY location prior to its opening at 8:30 am. Waited for nearly 20 minutes. No employees, locked lobby, called their main line, no answer. Needed support to mail international package and return several items. Completely unprofessional. Had to leave due to an up coming an appointment.

paid my box for a year and one month later had a problem with the key.so they decided to close the box without telling me this then they still delivered the mail and now that we are going into a new year and only half way through the year payment they totally closed my box Now they refuse to give me my mail and they are sending it all back and no refund for the second half of the year the Warwick office will not allow me to file a complaint and give any assistance to resolving this problem and now they say they don't refund money on keys that were needed for the new lock on the box We don't get all our mail on time (circulars and other magazines). NOW TO KEEP MY BOX THE PERSON SAYS i NEED TO PAY MY BOX AGAIN AND AN EXTRA FEE AS i AM NOT A NEW CUSTOMER Is there anyone who can help me with this matter 8459886623

They hire incompetent workers who don't know how to do anything. Examples are paid my yearly fee for post office had issues with key so they close my box instead of fixing key issue then say no record of paying for my box figures i paid cash then says have to pay again and an added fee because im not a new customer. They take 6 months to change lock due to key issue when its 2 screws. Then they don't give any money back for returning of keys which theres supposed to be a small amount when returning keys. They dont open on time and close early. They dont know how to do certain things and over charge for postage because they don't know how to fix it in system and dont want to ask supervisor for help in fixing problem they refuse to let you fill out a complaint. They curse using the f word mostly. They are always on their cell phones and don't come to counter they are in back not paying attention to customers at window. They have no stamps to sell for months at a time only can get postage added to envelope from their machine. They park right in front of store so customers have to park in other spots meant for Veterinarian office. When you call Warwick post office to speak to post master or supervisor they brush you off and don't care about what you have to say. They dont fix issues with employees. They refuse to give information for their supervisors. They cant find packages that are there that they eventually find because customer refuses to leave without package like they are going to steal package and have person put in claim with sender that it's lost. They put mail in personal vehicles and travel it to the Warwick location when mail is pivked up at the end of the day from this location why the need to take it in your personal vehicles unless this is how they steal packages easier. Not one good compliment for them as theres nothing good about them hasnt been anything good to say for a while now they keep getting new people working here that shouldn't be working as they are not knowledgeable on how to do things in a post office when they are flying solo in this office. Many other issues, but these are a few main topics. Hope this helps others in choosing a postal location.
