We are located at 296 Windtree Cir. Carson City Nv. Our mailman is Felix. The post office is so lucky to have him as your employee. Recently I had a notice left at my door that required a signature. I left it in the mailbox with the required signature and Felix was kind enough to let me know he would go back to the post office and retrieve it and bring it back the same day. He is always so courteous, and his customer service is excellent. Thank you for hiring employees like Felix!

I did not receive my mail yesterday. This is the 2nd time this year (2024) it has occurred. Yesterday there was an important letter from my insurance company listed in the mail I was supposed to receive. I’ve lived in this house for decades. I’ve never had this issue before.

I had a package shoved into my mailbox. I am unable to get the package out, apparently the mail carrier didn't realize that the front opening has a metal lip, unlike the back ot the metal mail box. That wasn't too bad, but i phoned every number listed and couldn't get through to anyone, just one menu after another, even the 800 number.

We have an exceptional route driver Dan McLaughlin he has a warm personality, big smile everyday going above & beyond to help elderly customers on the route to access their mail. A neighbor on Empire Ranch didn’t receive his medicine from his provider. Dan explained how to track his medicine because it ran out. Evidently he went back to your main office at days end, finding his medicine. He hand delivered to their home 1st thing before starting his daily route. Please extend gratitude for his exceptional service. He thanked me several times for shoveling snow away from our neighbor box on Gregg Street. It made it easier for Dan to access our box & safer for our elderly neighbors that walk to the box so they wouldn’t slip on the ice. We love Dan the mail man!!

Unfortunately, as a business owner, I can tell this CC PO must have serious problems. I have been here and no one has come for 3 days during the middle of the week. Neither to pick up or drop off mail, and the PO has lied to Amazon as they have marked all undelivered packages as delivered, when they're sitting somewhere at the PO not being delivered. So not good.

Is it me, or has the Carson City Post Office *really* dropped the ball lately? Until November of 2020 I'd not had a problem with them, and then I moved. I switched addresses, I filled out the necessary paperwork, crossed the necessary T's and I's, and the first thing to happen at my new address is the mail sent to me was returned to sender. This happened even after I confirmed my address. Recently (early January 2021) I found previous resident's mail in my mailbox. I put it back in the outbox, and found the next day that the Post Office marked my mailbox vacant and I had to re-fill out my change of address. The inhouse staff at the counter is curt, rude, and their aggressive temperament makes for an unpleasant experience out of what is generally at best a tedious experience. I understand we live in an ongoing pandemic, and regardless what anyone does or does not believe of the pandemic, things have changed (masking up, social distancing). Still, the staffers at the post office need to get their schtick together, because this current behavior and inability to function in their jobs correctly demonstrates why the Post Office is a dying breed of shipping.

I can not speak for all of the folk who work at the Roop Street post office, but I have seen one who has worked there ever since I moved to Carson City in 2005. He is friendly, helpful, and provides excellent postal service, clearly explaining postage, certified mail, etc. rates. The other folks who work there are friendly, too. I do not work for and I am not in any way associated with that post office, so there is no reason for me to be biased.

I dropped off a package to usps on Hyway 50 on December 16th that had to be sent back to the company. Tracking number says it was in Carson City on the 17th. The company has not received it yet. Is it still in Carson City?

So, had a question about a UPS SurePost! I called UPS, who told me to call the PostOffice (typical buck passing). Called my Post Office on Roop, the number does not answer AT ALL. My tracking says that the delivery was attempted in SPARKS! And that the business was closed and could not deliver. The delivery address is a Residence in CARSON CITY, next to the PostOffice! Now I dont know what the status is, and will not be at the address for the next 2 attempts because I have to WORK...answering PHONES! .

I'm in postal zone 89705 for Jacks Valley, Douglas County, NV. I'm not complaining about my service; it's very good. I get a lot of Emails saying my Post Office is closing and asking for money. Should I ignore them?

I paid to have mine and my boyfriends mail forwarded. For some reason they didn’t stop the emails on our previous address. I recently received notification that forwarding my magazine subscriptions will be ending. This is the first problem, I have never received one magazine subscription to my new address indicating they were never forwarded to begin with! Now I’m having trouble getting my stimulus check from the IRS and I was told to rest assured that a check would be mailed to me! That sucks because I now believe it’ll go to my old address, when communication from the IRS to my boyfriend went! They did not forward the mail or return it! During a time like this - not being able to contact the IRS directly or not being able to trust your local post office will do their part to assist with your mail - only makes things scarier and more frustrating!

Please get the mail carriers for Sean Dr some glasses as they apparently can not read . At least once a week mail is left in my door as well as that of my neighbor a couple of doors down that has beeen put in the wrong mailbox. You do not answer your phone maybe this is why too many complaints. Perhaps a simple refresher course on reading numbers would help.

All of the comments before mine are exactly what I’m living! My mail has either not shown up at all or when it does it’s late and open! I have had countless items show up open! I had a small box placed in my mailbox with a rubber band around it holding it closed! Seriously so sick of it. I ended up talking to the post office and was told to get a P.O. Box if I don’t want to “poke the bear”. I ultimately signed up for informed delivery! Funny how my mail magically isn’t open anymore....

I’m disappointed with the service I ordered from Amazon two times the same item the orders were mounts apart and both times they were sent to the wrong address even though the correct address was on the label. Very disappointed in your service.

I’m sick and tired of not getting my mail and other people bringing it to my house. The past 4 years have been a night mare ! Not only not getting my mail...but the trucks are out at night and on the weekend. What is going on with the US Postal Service? Hire people that care

Tracking notice showed my new phone "placed in parcel locker" at 3:55 pm. Problem is--the key for locker was placed in the wrong box. Trying to resolve this is already a nightmare and from now on when I order from Amazon I will have it sent to my in-laws--they still get mail at the house instead of neighborhood "Box".

The Carson Post office returned the new title to my car, instead of placing it in my mailbox. It costs $21 every time the DMV mails a title, and they will only mail it--will not give it to you when you are in the DMV and pay for it. Anyone else sense collusion in this, to generate more revenue for DMV?? Who gave the postal carriers permission to return properly addressed documents instead of delivering them?? I am sure they are not going to volunteer their own hard-earned $21 to buy me another car title, even though they caused mine to be shredded.

Getting sick of getting everyone else's mail . I live on North side and have received other people mail numerous times. I have spoke with the manager many months back including mail carriers and still no response. I'm wondering if my mail goes somewhere else too. Also trying to call the post office is like pulling teeth. Please if anyone from the post office reads this fix this problem.

I had respect for the post office before moving to Carson City. If you can as using this location, you should. The carrier for my address is so lazy, she will only deliver packages to apartment complex offices and not your actual address. I still do not have my package and the guaranteed delivery date has come and gone. When I went to the post office to resolve the issue the supervisor blamed it on everything but taking responsibility for the carriers failure to deliver. I will be using UPS or FedEx in the future. It was my daughter's birthday presents which is now last.

I called for a technical support the answer machine went over and over, telling me that they are too busy, it was 20 minutes, they said that the waiting time could be 40 minutes. We work, and have responsibilities to take care, we cannot spend so much time at the phone waiting, don't you guys have enough people to take care of our business?

A few years ago a carson city postal worker accused me of taking a package, my landlord said they've had issues with this male postal worker. Last month my daughter received one of her 2 packages but a neighbor was delivered the 2nd package. This past friday a package I ordered was leaning on my next door neighbors door. The numbers of our apartments are easy to read when walking up the stairs. 406 is my apt. On your right an 408 is on the left. I looked at the package an saw that it was mines. The address was clear to read, I'm expecting one more package by tuesday may 23 an I'm waiting to see how that package delivery goes before making judgment that I have a true postal worker problem. I wanted to let you know in case I do. Thank you
