What has happened to mail service in Linden? For the past 2 years my mail is not delivered until 8-8:30 at night! The mail carrier uses a flashlight because it's dark, leaves the lid on my mailbox open, & sometimes leaves mail for my neighbors in my box! To make matters worse, there are days I don't get mail at all! I didn't receive mail this past Saturday 1/24 which I found strange since a major snowstorm was predicted for Sunday, & of course no mail on Monday after the snowstorm. My bills arrive with only a few days before they are due. Why are they being delivered so late and why are there days I don't get mail at all? I go to bed early because I get up very early for work, but try and wait for the mail to be delivered so it's not sitting in the mailbox all night. Why is this being allowed? Mail should be delivered during the day! I sincerely hope something could be done about this.
This postal service is horrible! The staff is mean and disrespectful. You can't get anyone on the phone unless "they" are not busy with their phones. Fire and rehire!! Linden tax payers do not deserve this treatment. To the lady in front for passports...stop being a terrible human being and do your job, you are not there to judge or make people feel worthless.
I tried to call to complain, but no one ever picks up the phone. I was told that I had to go to the post office to pick up my package cause it was too heavy to delivery. I paid for the delivery, so why do I have to go and get it? The RUDE mailperson came by and asked why I haven't picked anything up yet. The RUDE mailperson told me that I don't get it and walked out after I tried to tell her the the USPS needs to delver my items, which is the point of ordering for delivery, otherwise I would just go and get my stuff in the store. HORRIBLE PUBLIC SERVICE.
No matter how I request a hold mail -Linden, NJ continues to deliver my mail! I've handed the yellow hold mail request to the post master, mail it to Linden, NJ post master & entered an online mail request.

This has to be the worst Post Office in the state. They keep losing mail! I went to the Post Office and asked for the supervisor and tried to speak with him. I told the clerk what happened. No one was in the post office at the time. The supervisor made me wait for 20 minutes before he came over and told me he could not talk to me because he had "an emergency on the road." Where's my mail? He told me to fill out an online complaint. He did not even care that I have missing mail.
This place is the worst!!! I had 3 packages go missing at different times and no one was able to help me they kept giving me the run around one was in December the other two was recent smh
They all have attitude problems I will never go here again I don’t trust them or the mail carrier
