I would like to commend Lamalika of the "Package Dept. at the Iselin P.O. On the 19th of May she showed great pride in her job. Her professionalism, interest in customer's problem and friendliness were greatly appreciated. As it turned out I found out what happened to my very overdue package and just had to call her back to let her know. When I did she knew immediately it was me and addressed me so. We had a good laugh as the package was destroyed on a belt, but felt relief to having a conclusion.
She is a very valuable employee!
They can't seem to hold mail, forward mail or stop holding or forwarding mail correctly. I have been getting mail to a forwarded address as well as my home address since January. I have called to try to get this corrected and the problem persists. This is a problem because important bills and checks are not being delivered correctly. Please pay attention.
Yesterday, I got one police ticket in my mail box. Actually it show date on letter is 12-November and I received on 30-November. It was parking ticket of $54 & due to late sending by USPS OF ISELIN,NJ, I have to pay 10$ extra. Please send mail timely.
I went to post office on 6/14/2021 @ 5:52 there hours of operation are from 9am to 6pm it says on the main door. Door were closed we I get there waited for few mins also knock the door and the window to get the attention of the employees who were on the register. Both employees were busy balancing their cash draws didn’t acknowledged me. I was there 8 mins before closing. This is very frustrating I went right after my work. Just went to pick up passport applications for my
Minors. This is very unfair.
This Post Office is filthy !!! When I asked a postal employee if they complain about the condition of their office, they replied - "who do we complain to? " Then I asked "well, who do I complain to and they replied to go see someone in the office next door". The parking lot is always full of garbage flying around, the area where I pick up my mail from the post office box is not only filthy but also smells like urine at times and there is a covering of dirt on the floor. Not to mention the paper on the floor and usually over flowing in the garbage. Does anyone else care about this?
Several times over the last few weeks I have not been getting my mail. At one point it was 3 days in one week! Everytime I call the post office to complain nothing is done about it they just tell me I have no mail. I have 5 people living in my home there is always mail! I had a letter to be mailed hanging out of my mail box today and it was never even picked up.
