The workers at this Clifton post office let people wait for 1 hour before telling them they needed an appointment. No one present from 9-10 had an appointment and we waited for someone to step out into the office to do or say something.. the post office opened at 9 and not one employee came out to work as of 10 AM when we were told " no appointment , no renewal " by some woman who struts in late for work , about 10 am, telling us to leave. Lady, just do your job. That's a great job when you open at 9 but start work at 10 . Not a soul was behind that 4 or 5 station counter for as long as we were there and that was over an hour. Great service. A woman came in for some postal service and called for someone but the sheep you hired never came out and you could here them talking behind the "employee only " door. I'm not done either . I'm going to contact the postmaster or whomever I have to to report what "kind of a show" you're running over there on Paulison ave in Clifton. I'm glad i didn't come into that post office with a package this morning. i'd have stared at 4 empty stations for an hour (at least) There was no reason why all those waiting this morning couldn't have had their passports serviced. If these comments aren't read by postal employees , please give me a higher contact address or phone.

This morning, I went post office to mail my passport papers for renewal. A person who attended me name Jone was very kind and highly professional, amazed me. A helpful person to be remembered. Life will be easier if we have more people like him. I wish him the best and to be promoted not just he deserve it, but also good for people like us.

This was the worst customer service experience we had in years! Came on Thursday 1/26 to inquire about passport application. Postal clerk came @9:58 to work. Doors were open @10, by Indian lady clerk. My big mistake, I AKED HER A QUESTION! She pointed finger at me and yelled not to ask anything if I don’t have appointment. But then other clerk( one who came 2 minutes early to work), came out and I attempted to ask him a question! He turned around and told me to wait, he is not ready and he won’t talk till then! Few other customers came in(they had appointments), and they were ignored till 10:15. Finally I asked for help again, and he snapped that he is unionized worker and he doesn’t have to do anything. Also that his head is hurting! Few customers and I were shocked! He finally decided to help me and gave us appropriate paperwork! First clerk was Indian lady in her 50 and second clerk was white man in his late fifties. Unbelievable experience!

RE: certified mail 7020 3160 0000 3106 7305 I have been trying to get this certified mail envelope without any luck, or help from the post office. The envelope was sent, certified mail on 11/15/2022. We were waiting for it to be delivered. On Tuesday we got a notice on the door saying final attempt. Someone has been home for the last 2 weeks. The mail person has not once pressed the buzzer on our building to inform us that they were there. I went to the post office on Tuesday to see if it was there and I was told it was out for delivery that day, but all I got was the final attempt notice. I put the notice on the door, signed, circled the return to post office option, and added that they could ring the buzzer. Today is Thursday and the notice is still on the door. This envelope contains a rather large check. I have called the post office and have spent the better part of an hour listening to the message, and the ringing of the phone, but no one has answered. This is very poor service. I would like an explanation and my certified mail. Anthony Deperi

This is a complaint. The last two months I have not been receiving important bills in my mailbox. I have to pay by phone and my gf has trouble using the internet. Some days the mail carrier leaves the mail on the ground in one big pile. Please find out who is doing this. 190 Ackerman Ave!!! Clifton, N.J. 862-899-7709. The service has always been good. This started about Christmas time and last month was the worst. Ronald Acerra.

How can you run a Post Office Passport Office with one person attending, 10 workers in the back office and 20 people waiting to be served. When you try to call for an appointment to renew a passport the computer always answer they have technical difficulties. And you people wanted to know why UPS, Federal express, DHL it took all your customers way.

TERRIBLE EXPIRIENCE They made me shaking. The worst place ever. Manager is irresponsible, yells on customers. He should be at different position, a janitor for example. They sent my package to destroy after 5 business days of being there for pick up. But carrier wrote wrong address (1114 main ave, clifton) for pick up on notice. The stupidest situation. I lost is $399 in value and about $30 of all mighty USPS's fees. "You pay - We lost" USPS

terrible service--trump is right--the usps sucks!!! I'm 73--50 yrs ago the usps had integrity--now none at all--out for delivery is meaningless--it means now or in 2 or 3 days--service was better 50 yrs ago--now it stinks--like the rest of the country=service stinks--pure and simple!

This place is terrible. The staff members don't know what is going on. The older woman at the counter told me it wasn't her job and she was doing me a favor for doing my passport at which an argument ensued. The state department needs to take control of this office and take away this service from USPS. I would like to speak with the postmaster or a supervisor

Our mail gets delivered from this center, but I should add, SOMETIMES. We've had a steady stream of mail carriers throw our mail just anywhere in our (six-part, plainly marked) mail tower. I've contacted the USPS main office in Washington who had someone from this place call me and tried to blame us for the carrier's ineptness, but in the end I was told that they "would speak to the carriers." I'm sure that they did, because today I found everyone's mail in the rain getting wet on our porch - not in the mailbox. I wonder what kind of nonsense I'll get told this time?

Horrible service if you are getting your passport, I've been here for over 2 hours and the line is going out the door. Only one person working, I wouldn't recommend this postal service location.

OMG just got back from this horrible place. Please everyone needs to go to another place to get a passport. I'm still shaking. I walked in at 11:30 and the line was out the door. Children and adults. A women and man were the only ones issuing the passports. at 11:45 the man with the beard and dark hair went to lunch for 1 and 1/2 hours. Everyone was screaming on line. After a another 2 hour wait the man with the beard screamed at me when I had the wrong forms filled out. I was mortified! I left there shaking. I would like to speak to the post-master or his supervisor. Everyone in the post office was horrified. The line just never moved. Something needs to be done about this facility and man. I'm not letting this go.
