It’s a Sunday and I just watched from my office window upstairs as the mailwoman delivered a box to my mailbox. She actually had to force it into the mailbox with two hands. I was thinking to myself that I couldn't have seen what I thought I had just seen. I went out to the mailbox to get the package and it was in fact what I thought. It was shoved into the mailbox with so much force in fact that I could not even pull it out. My husband had to squish the edges of the box to get a good enough grasp on it to try to wiggle it out. It still didn't come out easily - and we were worried that our mailbox was going to break off the post - but we eventually got it out. Honestly, if she couldn’t manage to get out of her truck to deliver it to the door, I would’ve gladly waited until Monday rather than having it jammed into our mailbox. Luckily there were only a couple items in the Amazon box and it was packed with bubble wrap so nothing was damaged when she forced it into the mailbox. I believe the truck number was 332443 and the delivery was at approximately 12:45 pm on 11/26.
I have been waiting for a package from Poland and tracked it!! It says delivered to front desk. When I spoke with front desk they swore nothing was delivered and it may be because of a substitute mail person! So now a big dollar package is just gone!! Unacceptable
I have been home expecting a large envelope containing a college certificate. A ticket from the USPS was left inside my mail box saying that no one was at home to receive the delivery -the envelope. This is not true and this is not the first time that this has happened to me. It has become very common for certain mail people to neglect their duties and blame the rest.
I am very upset we received no mail on Saturday and unless our regular mail is working we never receive mail on Saturday. I know we should have had mail today because they were to deliver our held mail today.
We have a problem in this area and when we have a temporary driver Most Saturdays we do not receive mail. Something is wrong with this picture.
Let me start off with saying that I never take the time to write reviews, however, my experience was so bad that I feel the need to warn people. I was not home when a package was delivered so I went to the post office location that was written on the back of the post card that was left stuck to my front door. The information left clearly stated that I could pick it up at the Indian Trail location or call to reschedule a delivery. After fighting through traffic, I finally arrived at the Indian Trail location to pick up my package close to 5 PM. I also needed to send out a package, and I was the last person in line. The post office was extremely disorganized. I needed to buy an envelope to mail my item out in, but there were no pens available on the table to fill out the address. When I got up to inquire about both my package and the envelope I was using, I met the most miserable person I have ever met in my life. This individual should not in any way be working in customer service or 'attempting' to help anyone in anyway. He proceeded to tell me, I mean yell at me, that my package was at the Monroe location. When I asked him what could be done, he got an attitude with me that I was going to have to come pick it up tomorrow. He didn't mention anything about the possibility of rescheduling a delivery because he wasn't interested in helping anyone. I then switched topics to what I wanted to mail out. Before I could inquire about the envelope, he yelled at me to get back in line (there was no line) and fill out the front of the envelope and then come back. I literally took 4 steps back to the table and rummaged around my purse to finally find a pen and filled out the information only to wait for him to get done talking about how much he hated his job. This is not a way to treat people. I went to the post office expecting to be helped, and received horrible treatment. I was reminded of why I use UPS.
